Vile Rabbit

Chapter 158: Unnamed

But little did these creatures knew that this very decision was because the pollution was influencing their thoughts on a subconscious level.

Before you knew it, five hundred years flashed by. Many of these polluted creatures died for one reason or another, and some flourished, climbing the life tiers at extreme speeds a kin to comets.

Whoosh!

Afterward, they created a cult that spanned the entire realm. They then massacred the entire realm and used their blood to built a giant summoning circle formed from blood and stars.

Then, they began opening the door for their god.

"Oh, great shadow that stands above the heavens! The watcher who observes all that exists! We welcome you!"

"Oh, great shadow that stands above the heavens! The watcher who observes all that exists! We welcome you!"

"Oh, great shadow that stands above the heavens! The watcher who observes all that exists! We welcome you!"

They chanted over and over in unison, their voices creating a shockwave that spanned light-years in Diameter.

At the same time Apexion, who was standing outside the barrier, suddenly started flickering. Shing! Shing! Shing! Then he vanished the next second,

Vash!

And reappeared at the center of the shimmering summoning circle that spanned light years in circumference.

His eyes pulsed as he calmly gazed at the humanoid spider-like creatures surrounding him. Their voices echoed praises laced with absolute worship and joy.

They looked at him with anticipation, hoping to witness the glorious form of their god and what they saw exceeded their highest expectations.

Their god was worthy of being a entity from the space between. In their perception, he was an incomprehensible, formless blur.

The only reason they knew he stood before them was because the blur radiated an unnatural aura that screamed it did not belong to the natural cycle of this world.

Apexion's voice rang out in a majestic tone,

"You did good. As promised, I will grant you your deepest desires."

Then the trillions of creatures' bodies started breaking apart, bit by bit, like a puzzle falling apart. Soon, only their spirits remained.

Apexion's fate star then absorbed the spirits. In side, they would enter eternal slumber and dream a dream where all their desires come true.

That was him fulfilling his end of the bargain.

Apexion then vanished. An instant later, that realm vanished into nothing.

Destroyed.

He reappeared inside a continental realm. This continent was mostly composed of forests and desert.

He stood in the center of a clearing before a group of brown, humanoid, rabbit-like creatures a mother, father, and daughter. Their figures stood frozen, their fur standing on end just from being in his presence.

He gazed at them calmly. He was somewhat intrigued, for they were the exact same species as him, with only a few differences their innate humanoid form and blood rune.

His eyes flickered as he gazed at their fate. An instant later: 'Fated to die a month later to a nearby predator.' he thought.

He decided on a whim to change their fate.

He raised his right index finger above them, and,

Drip!

A shimmering drop of blood was released from his finger. The moment it appeared, the entire world trembled to the point of collapsing, but right before it could, Apexion ordered it to stop:

"Stop collapsing!"

His words were interwoven with his apex laws. An ethereal chain then manifested around the blood drop, sealing it to the 3rd tier quality. It then split into three. Each fragment flashed into the hearts of one of the rabbits.

This blood drop was an extremely watered-down version of one of Apexion's true blood drops not even a percent of the real thing.

With that blood, they would become geniuses, breaking through life tiers like drinking water. Within a month's time, they would be able to kill their natural predator. Within a hundred years, they should be able to take over the entire world.

'If fate dictates it, we shall meet again.'

Thought Apexion as he vanished.

The rabbits' eyes flickered with confusion. One moment they were doing their daily eating and harvesting of plants, the next their bodies instinctively froze in absolute terror. Then, things were back to normal. Suddenly, they noticed that their bodies felt fuller more energetic.

"Right here."

At the same time, Apexion arrived a few million kilometers before a huge spherical world spanning a light-year in diameter.

This world was composed purely of land and lava no water whatsoever and it was inhabited by millions of different species. Some humanoid, some not; some flesh and blood, others not.

These species had created multiple civilizations towering buildings crafted from lava and rock. Under-lava empires spanned millions of kilometers in diameter.

As Apexion gazed at the planet, his fate star pulsed slightly, telling him this was where what he was searching for would bloom in about five hundred years.

Suddenly, the entire world came to a standstill as he accelerated beyond the speed of light. He took a single step and vanished, reappearing in one of the rock cities on the world.

He calmly walked past the frozen humanoids with octopus heads and limbs, as if he were taking a stroll. He walked around the entire city, then traveled to the next. After exploring the entire world, he vanished into the folds of space above the world.

At the same time, somewhere within the Death, False Realm floated a tiny one-centimeter divine domain.

In this domain was an ocean of blood and a mountain of bones. Atop the mountain stood a skeletal figure clad in a crimson robe formed from blood.

Suddenly, the figure's instincts warned him of an incoming threat the likes of no other. Its flame-like eyes burned brightly.

"Who could be so bold?!" it questioned as multiple ethereal strings manifested around it. Its will penetrated the strings, granting it access to the future, its future where it saw something that made it tremble.

It instantly attempted to teleport an extremely far distance away. But before it could,

Click-click!

The sound of the space within hundreds of million light-years being sealed rang out.

Then,

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The sound of death knocking on its door echoed.

'No!'

it screamed in its mind as its body began pulsing with death energy. Countless fate strings manifested around it as it tried to twist fate:

"There is no seal on this section of the vacuum!"

"I will successfully escape this section of the vacuum!"

"My enemy will fail in killing me in this clash!"

"I will kill my enemy in this confrontation!"

It cast fate decrees one after another, but each of them failed, for there was a stronger fate decree imposed over this section of the vacuum. It was sentenced, ordained, to fall.

An instant later, extreme dread washed over it as its enemy twisted the fate of its entire domain:

[Fate Severance!]

A deep voice rang out along with the sound of its domain being severed.

Slash!

It felt all connection with its domain severed.

Crack!

Its bones cracked, and its aura diminished greatly as it lost a part of its source.

An instant later, Pash! its domain shattered like glass, revealing a magnificent figure standing outside. This figure was humanoid, with a shimmering crown and a star floating above its head. Its hands were folded behind its back. Its starry eyes gazed at it with disdain, and its voice rang out:

"You have offended an entity your mind cannot comprehend an entity of a caliber your existence cannot bear. Now it's your turn to be enlightened of your folly."

[Karma Retribution!]

After the figure spoke, a terrible force washed over it Boom!

All the negative things it had caused in its existence, like vengeful ghosts, it wreaked havoc, consuming it in bad luck.

"No!"

It roared in defiance, gazing into countless possible future outcomes but no matter the move, attack, the escape technique, all paths led to the same outcome.

death.

"No! No! No!"

It roared as its body suddenly expanded to hundreds of millions of light-years long, only stopping because of the space seal.

Shing!

An ethereal axe formed from death energy appeared in its right hand. It chopped toward the figure with utmost fury,

"Die!"

Swish!

It instantly appeared above the figure, who was so small compared to it that it defied sense. But before it could make contact,

[sever!]

The sound of the fate connection and its weapon being severed rang out.

Its weapon froze above the figure's head, refusing to move further. Then it vanished from its grasp,

Vash!

And reappeared in the figure's arms, who was now standing above it, The figure calmly slashed it toward its head.

Slash!

Its instincts screamed, and it tried to move, to twist fate but it was futile, for an higher level of fate had already decided the outcome of this clash.

Crack!

The sound of its skull being cracked open by its own weapon echoed,

"Aaaaah!"

It let out a realm-shattering wail, laced with the pain of an external law corroding its existence and the regret of foolishly challenging an entity far beyond its reach.

Slash! Crack!

The figure attacked once more, decapitating its head,

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Its head flipped, like a toy for the pathfinder's amusement.

And at that moment, it attempted one final act, even knowing it was futile:

[Self-destruct!]
