Chapter 753: Blame Your Hot Brother!
Villain Ch 753. Blame Your Hot Brother!
Azura let out an exaggerated sigh, her tone laced with playful frustration. "Well, blame your hot brother for it," she complained, shooting Emma a mischievous grin as she rose from her seat.
Emma's brow furrowed in confusion as she watched Azura's sudden departure. "Where are you going?" she asked, her voice tinged with curiosity.
Azura waved a dismissive hand, a teasing glint in her eye. "Get ready," she replied nonchalantly, already making her way towards the bathroom. Her smile hinted at her mischievous intentions; she was determined to make a good impression on Allen, especially now that they would be spending time together.

Emma's frown deepened as she processed Azura's cryptic response. "The gaming room is literally still in this mansion," she pointed out with a cringe, feeling a pang of disbelief. She had assumed Azura would need fifteen minutes to wait for a response from her guild leader, but it seemed she had underestimated her cousin's priorities.
Azura was clearly more focused on her appearance than the gaming session itself.
Azura peeked out from behind the bathroom door, her voice calm and casual as she explained her rationale. "Yes, but he will be there, and we will be there alone. So... I need to look beautiful," she reasoned, her tone relaxed yet determined. In the mirror, her makeup sprawled across the table in a chaotic array after she had rummaged through her bag to find the perfect products.
Emma rolled her eyes, a hint of exasperation creeping into her voice. "You guys will spend more time on the game for God's sake!" she complained, her annoyance evident as she cringed at Azura's fixation on her appearance.
Azura chuckled softly, unfazed by Emma's protest. "Yes, I'm just getting ready," she reiterated, her voice echoing lightly in the bathroom as she began to touch up her makeup and comb her hair. "Just in case," she added with a shrug, her movements deliberate and precise as she focused on perfecting her look.
"In what case?" Emma countered, her tone laced with skepticism as she watched Azura's meticulous primping.
Azura paused for a moment, considering her response. "Well, you never know," she replied cryptically, a playful glint dancing in her eyes. "I want to be prepared for any scenario, whether it's a gaming showdown or a spontaneous selfie opportunity," she explained with a grin, her fingers deftly working to achieve the desired hairstyle.
Emma shook her head in disbelief, unable to suppress a smile at Azura's unwavering dedication to her appearance. "You're unbelievable," she cringed.
Azura peeked out from behind the bathroom door once more, her expression deadpan as she addressed Emma. "Now, I will excuse myself to tidy myself up, okay?" she declared, before disappearing back into the bathroom to resume her primping.
"Ugh..." Emma groaned in response, her frustration evident in the exasperated grunt that escaped her lips. She couldn't help but shake her head at Azura's relentless dedication to her appearance, even in the midst of a gaming session.
Fifteen minutes later, Azura emerged from the room, her hair perfectly styled and her makeup flawlessly applied. She exuded an air of confidence as she stepped into the hallway, ready to embark on her gaming adventure with Allen. However, her anticipation was soon dampened as Emma insisted on joining her, determined to disrupt the atmosphere.
Azura couldn't hide her annoyance as Emma tagged along, but she chose to brush off her cousin's interference, knowing that nothing could dull her excitement for the upcoming gaming session. Together, they made their way through the corridor, Azura leading the way with purposeful strides while Emma trailed behind, a scowl marring her features.
They reached Goldborne's gaming room, Azura couldn't help but feel a surge of anticipation coursing through her veins. It had been a while since she last set foot in this room, and the changes that had taken place since then left her stunned. The addition of the battle dome, a towering structure that dominated the center of the room, caught her eye immediately.
Its imposing presence seemed to loom over her.
But Azura's surprise quickly turned to curiosity as she shifted her gaze to Allen, who was already seated in the gaming lounge. He sat on a single sofa in a row, his posture relaxed as he waited for her arrival. On either side of him, tables were positioned, each adorned with a VR device.
Her heart skipped a beat at the sight of him. Despite the impressive surroundings of the gaming room, it was Allen who captivated her attention, his presence filling her with a sense of excitement and anticipation.
Allen's smile widened as Azura and Emma entered the gaming lounge. He waved a casual greeting.
Azura flashed him a warm smile as she approached. "Sorry for keeping you waiting," she apologized, her tone laced with sincerity.
Allen shook his head, dismissing her apology with a wave of his hand. "It's fine," he reassured her, his tone easygoing. Then, turning to Azura with a hint of concern, he inquired, "Has your guild leader replied to your message?" His genuine interest in her well-being shone through, his concern evident in his eyes.
Emma couldn't resist a smirk at Allen's question, her sarcasm evident in her tone. "I also thought the same thing. But unfortunately, that fifteen minutes is not for sending a message to her guild leader," she quipped, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Azura shot Emma a reproachful look, her brow furrowed in frustration. "Hey, I did send a message to my guild leader," she protested, her voice tinged with annoyance as she pouted slightly.
Emma rolled her eyes, her response dripping with sarcasm. "Yeah, it only takes like less than half a minute. While the rest--- Mph!!!" Before Azura could finish her sentence, she quickly covered Emma's mouth in a panic. She couldn't afford for Emma to spill the beans to Allen about the real reason behind her delay.
With a forced smile, Azura turned back to Allen, her expression brightening as she changed the subject. "Let's start the game, shall we?" she suggested eagerly, her tone cheerful as she brushed off the previous exchange.
Allen, sensing the tension between the two friends, decided to let it slide. He nodded in agreement, a small smile playing on his lips. "Okay," he replied, choosing to overlook the cryptic exchange and focus on the task at hand.
