When "God" Decides To Start Over

The two black-red talent gemstones look identical, suggesting they have the same talent.

Li Xiu tossed one of them to Chu Jun and used one himself, gaining a C-level talent instantly.

Frenzy Immunity (Growth Skill): C-level talent, immune to sixty percent of the Light of Frenzy.

"It's actually a growth skill. With this thing, should we no longer fear those viral demon spirits?" Chu Jun exclaimed happily.

"Seems like it." Li Xiu summoned the Pink Nightmare and said to Chu Jun, "Use your White Lotus to cleanse the Light of Frenzy inside this guy."

The Pink Nightmare wasn't injured, just inhaled some Light of Frenzy. Chu Jun enveloped the Pink Nightmare with the light energy of the White Lotus, and soon the blood in its eyes completely receded, making it less aggressive.

Surveying the main hall and the gate of the temple, he said, "Is it better now? If so, go sense whether there are any demon spirits outside the gate and inside the main hall."

Chu Jun, just promoted to D-level and with a growth talent, was quite eager, running up to the main hall in a few steps. After sensing for a while, he returned and whispered, "There is an S-Class demon spirit inside, but I can't sense its name."

"What about outside the gate?" Li Xiu gave up the idea of going in upon hearing an S-Class demon spirit, instructing Chu Jun to sense by the temple gate again.

"I sensed it; there are two E-level and one D-level minions outside called Frenzied Beasts," Chu Jun said excitedly.

Hearing they were just some little cuties, Li Xiu immediately helped Chu Jun remove the bolt from the temple gate and opened it.

As soon as the door opened, three demon spirits with blood-red eyes were seen wandering nearby. Their gaze was attracted and rushed over upon seeing Li Xiu and Chu Jun.

These Frenzied Beasts looked similar to black bears but were slightly larger.

"Let me try," Li Xiu was about to summon the Jedi Knight to fight, but Chu Jun jumped out, wielding the White Lotus to release light energy.

White light bullets shot from within the White Lotus and struck the Frenzied Beasts, which immediately smoked all over their bodies and soon stopped moving.

The three Frenzied Beasts were easily dealt with by Chu Jun. The White Lotus, imbued with the Flame of the White Dog Jade Lamp, had a strong restraining effect on these Frenzied Beast demon spirits.

"Haha, I didn't expect this day to come. My White Lotus finally has attack power," Chu Jun danced with excitement.

Li Xiu surveyed the terrain outside the temple and found it was built atop a small hill. In front of the temple was a platform, and at the end of the platform, a stone stairway led down the hill—no other path was visible.

The two of them descended the stone steps, encountering more Frenzied Beasts along the way, mostly E-level and D-level. Occasionally they came across C-level Frenzied Beasts, all of ordinary quality.

Li Xiu wasn't interested in these Frenzied Beasts, but Chu Jun, being a scout and medic, was killing them enthusiastically.

The hill wasn't too high, and soon they reached the base, surrounded entirely by forest with no path to follow.

Li Xiu vaguely saw pairs of blood-red eyes watching them from the forest. Upon sensing, Chu Jun discovered they were all Frenzied Beasts, similar in level to the previous ones but in greater numbers.

"As long as you have immunity to Light of Frenzy, this is a great place to obtain demon cores. But why aren't there any high-quality demon spirits?" Li Xiu followed Chu Jun into the forest to hunt Frenzied Beasts, but they didn't dare venture too far for fear of getting lost.

Despite killing many Frenzied Beasts, Chu Jun only obtained demon cores and was feeling down until he noticed a large gathering of Frenzied Beasts in the trees ahead. Upon sensing roughly, he detected at least several hundred, including one A-level Frenzied Beast.

They were too far away, unable to see those Frenzied Beasts clearly, and weren't sure if any high-quality demon spirits were among them.

Li Xiu and Chu Jun sneaked closer and spotted the Frenzied Beasts, noticing one whose entire body had blood light patterns and dazzling claws, each strand of fur glowing red. It was an A-level Radiant Quality demon spirit.

Besides that A-level Radiant Frenzied Beast, there were a few B-level Luminous Frenzied Beasts and several hundred ordinary quality Frenzied Beasts. If someone got surrounded by them, they would surely perish.

After all, Frenzied Beasts wield Light of Frenzy. Getting hurt by them means certain death.

Li Xiu and Chu Jun weren't afraid since they were immune to frenzy. They devised a plan and drew the Frenzied Beasts to them.

The Jedi Knight fought independently against the A-level Radiant Frenzied Beast, while Li Xiu and Chu Jun led their Demon Spirit Legion to surround and annihilate the other Frenzied Beasts.

The B-level Jedi Knight held an absolute advantage in the battle against the A-level Radiant Frenzied Beast, quickly slaying it without needing Li Xiu to shoot a non-lethal round.

These Frenzied Beasts were unlike the black dogs in the temple; they lacked regeneration and healing abilities, only possessing slightly more endurance than ordinary demon spirits, making them less difficult to kill.

"Ugh, both are B-level, yet my Black Death Demon feels so weak!" Chu Jun lamented, looking at his two B-level fully nurtured Radiant Black Death Demons.
