Chapter 6: Mind Bending Thoughts
In the chronicles forgotten by common histories, written upon brittle scrolls safeguarded in secret chambers beneath ancient temples, the sages of old recount tales of celestial upheaval. These were days when Olympus trembled, and the very heavens shook with change. Amidst turmoil of cosmic magnitude arose the portentous manifestation known only as the "Black Sun." Unlike any celestial body before, this sun burned brighter, larger, and fiercer than even mighty Helios could command. Its appearance, a harbinger of cosmic upheaval, was a dire warning to gods and mortals alike that the balance of the heavens was irrevocably altered.
Indeed, such transformation surpassed even the dreaded wars of the Olympians and Titans. For as the Olympians struggled among themselves, their authority waning through complacency and negligence, another deity had risen silently, gathering strength unseen. Yahweh, the god from distant realms unknown to Greek dominion, gathered to himself all whom Olympus spurned. With compassion uncharacteristic of capricious Olympians, Yahweh opened his heaven to those forsaken souls, promising eternal peace to mortals scorned by other gods. Thus, Yahweh's realm swelled, and whispers among sages spoke of him as the true father to humankind, the patron deity who embraced humanity when others turned away.
Yet, within Yahweh's divine family arose rebellion, fueled by pride and jealousy. Among his divine progeny was Lucifer, a luminous son gifted with wisdom second only to Yahweh himself. But ambition darkened Lucifer's heart, compelling him to question his father's dominion and incite rebellion. Alongside those loyal to his cause, these once-bright beings descended into rebellion, driven by desires that eclipsed their sacred duties. The heavens trembled anew with celestial warfare as Yahweh's loyal angels clashed mightily against Lucifer and his Fallen.
Defeat came swiftly and decisively for the rebellious host. Lucifer, along with those angels corrupted by his dissent, was cast down from the celestial realms, imprisoned eternally within the realm known only as Gehenna—a dimension wreathed in perpetual flame and punishment, forged specifically by Yahweh's command. Gehenna became the domain of anguish, a prison dimension forged from divine fury and judgment, where flames burned eternal and hope held no purchase. Thus imprisoned, Lucifer and his Fallen waited in torment, plotting vengeance and awaiting the prophesied end of days. Their exile became legend among secret societies and mystic scholars who warned of the Fallen's eventual return—when mortal and divine boundaries would collapse, and old wars rekindled in terrible fury. And all the while, above the mortal sphere, the Black Sun burned—a symbol both feared and revered. For with every passing day, its scorching blaze reminded observers that the heavens were now mutable, reflecting chaos greater than mortals or even gods had imagined possible. Hidden codices warned future generations of these turbulent signs, compelling those who understood their significance to prepare for calamities unseen by ordinary eyes. And so this tale endures in secrecy, its truths shielded from common knowledge, whispered cautiously from master to disciple. Only thus preserved could humankind hope to face the cosmic storms foretold by the Black Sun.
