Instead, he tossed it into the Minor World and didn't bother taking it with him.

He knew that this spear was an artifact that was soulbound to the owner of the voice, which meant that there should be a fragment of their spirit inside of the spear. That meant that if he were to keep it with him, it would be used to spy on him whenever the owner of the voice wanted.

So he was planning on keeping it inside of the Minor World.

"You're not planning on using it as your main weapon?" The voice spoke after Lin Fan tossed the spear into the Minor World.

Lin Fan just calmly said, "There's no need for me to carry this around all the time. Not to mention, it's a priceless treasure and showing off a treasure like this is a dangerous thing to do."

The voice didn't say anything in response to this since it couldn't say anything in response to this.

But it also seemed like the voice wasn't planning on letting things end like this.

So in the end, there was another thing that appeared in front of Lin Fan.

"Take this token, it will make it so that you can freely control the aura that the spear releases. Unless you draw on its power, then you'll be able to hide that it's a powerful artifact." The voice said in a caring tone before continuing.

"This is something that will preserve your life when you're in danger, so it's best if you keep it with you at all times."

Lin Fan gave a cold laugh on the inside when he heard this, but he didn't say anything as he took the token.

He could tell from the aura that the token released that this was another item that was connected to the owner of the voice. It was an item that had a trace of the spirit of the owner of the voice, so it would give him more authority when it came to the spear.

It was a way of making him the sub owner of the spear which would make the spear obey him in hiding its aura.

Before this, the owner of the voice just told the spear to listen to his commands.

However, it was different with this token.

Only it didn't matter how much authority the token gave him since it would never make him the true owner of the spear.

As long as the owner of the voice wanted, he would be able to take the spear from Lin Fan with a single thing.

That was why Lin Fan didn't plan on using this spear unless he needed to.

This spear was something that he was even considering turning into scrap metal and reforging. After all, even if it was something that the owner of the voice was using to keep an eye on him, it was made from precious materials.

If he were to scrap it and then use those materials to make another artifact, there was no doubt that it would turn into a very powerful artifact.

That was why Lin Fan was already thinking about when to destroy it.

After taking the token, Lin Fan just tossed it into the Minor World again without another word.

The owner of the voice was speechless at this action.

Even though he had said that the spear could be used to protect him, it was as if Lin Fan didn't care at all about this with the way that he tossed everything into his storage.

There was also a part of him that was worried that Lin Fan would break the vow that he made…But in the end, the owner of the voice calmed down as he didn't believe that Lin Fan was capable of such a thing.

Lin Fan didn't bother explaining himself either even though he knew that the owner of the voice was doubtful of him.

Instead, Lin Fan just asked, "Can you tell me more about the other temples that are down here?"

The voice didn't answer right away.

It remained silent as if it was thinking about something after Lin Fan asked this question.

In the end, the voice slowly asked, "What do you want to know about them? Why do you need to know anything about them?"

The way that the voice said this made it clear that the owner of the voice was on guard.

The owner of the voice didn't know what Lin Fan wanted from this, but he didn't think that it was a good idea for Lin Fan to know too much about this stuff.

Lin Fan wasn't surprised at all that the voice would say something like this.

He just calmly said, "You said before that the temples were created by those that were sealed in this place like you. Then doesn't that mean that there are allies of yours that are also sealed in this place. If I'm going to free you, I want to see if I can free as many of you as possible."

Though Lin Fan said in a calm tone, the owner of the voice could hear that there was something strange about the way that he said it.

It was the traces of desire that were in Lin Fan's voice.

After hearing this, the owner of the voice became a bit more relaxed. The doubts that he had previously faded a bit as he thought that it was only natural that Lin Fan would act like this.

The owner of the voice knew exactly what Lin Fan was after.

He wanted to exploit even more artifacts from the others in the other temples.

It seemed that Lin Fan wasn't as hard to read as he thought he was, it seemed that Lin Fan still had the desires that a normal person would have.

In that case, this was easy to deal with.

"Indeed, there are comrades of mine that are sealed in those temples. It seems like you're quite the thoughtful young man." The voice said with a hint of praise in it.

Lin Fan didn't show any reactions, but he gave a soft disdainful laugh deep down.

It seems that the owner of this voice really was easy to manipulate.

"I think it's best if you tell me about the war that happened in the past, that way I'll know best what the situation is and what's the best thing I can do." Lin Fan said in response.

The voice didn't answer right away, but in the end it said, "Alright, let me tell you about what happened in the past."

The way that it said this was as if it had already considered all of the pros and cons of this. It was after considering all of this that the voice thought that it was a good idea to tell Lin Fan of the past.

Lin Fan knew that the only reason that the owner of the voice was telling him this was because he wanted to manipulate him with this story. There was no doubt that he would tell his version of the story so that Lin Fan would feel that he was with the good people.

But Lin Fan knew better.

Still, he let the voice tell the story so he could have an idea of what this place was.

It turned out that the faction that the owner of the voice belonged to was called the Chaos Sect.

As the owner of the voice described it, the Chaos Sect was the sect that watched over the world and prevented anything from destroying it. That was why they had been fighting the All Time Sect which was a demonic sect that had been trying to use the power of the artifact to destroy the world.

Though the owner of the voice revealed these two sects, Lin Fan didn't really have any idea what they were since he had never heard of these sects before.

He didn't know how strong the owner of the voice or the others in the temples were based on this information, but at least it didn't seem like the sects that they belonged to were weak based on the artifact that he brought out.

Once the voice was done telling his story, he started giving Lin Fan directions to different temples.

With the image that Lin Fan saw when he had been floating above, he had a good idea of where those temples were. But at the same time, since he had the image from when he was floating above, he could also tell where the temples of the "enemies" were.

These were most likely those from the All Time Sect that the voice had described as demonic cultivators.

Though in the first place, Lin Fan was someone that was more closely aligned to demonic cultivators than he was with righteous cultivators.

So he really didn't care that the All Time Sect were a bunch of demonic cultivators as described by the voice.

Still, he said, "Alright, I'll be sure to visit the other temples and make sure that I talk to them. Is there anything that you want me to pass along to them?"

The voice didn't say anything at first, but then it said, "Just tell them that I'm doing well."

Lin Fan gave a simple nod before turning to leave.

This time, the voice didn't stop him from leaving.
