Once he left the temple, Lin Fan immediately headed off in a certain direction.

This was a different direction from the temples that the voice had just told him about.

He was heading in the direction of one of the temples that belonged to the All Time Sect.

Of course, he made sure that the spear and token were both trapped inside of the Minor World before heading in that direction. He didn't want to let that Huo Mu Chen have any idea of what he was up to since he didn't trust that Huo Mu Chen.

After heading in that direction for a bit, he found what he was looking for.

It was another building that was like the one that Huo Mu Chen was in, but it was built in a different style. It seemed like it was in a completely different style, as if it wanted to be the opposite of the temple that Huo Mu Chen was in.

Was it because they were enemies or was it because of something else?

Regardless of what it was, this place had the same problem as the first temple.

There were waves of intense death energy that were being released from the temple.

It even seemed like these waves of death energy were stronger than the ones from Huo Mu Chen's temple.

Did that mean that the one that was sealed inside of this temple was stronger than Huo Mu Chen?

Regardless of what it was, it wasn't Lin Fan's place to think that much about it.

Rather, it was even a good thing that there was this much death energy coming from the temple. It meant that there would be a lot of nutrition for the Nine Desolation Tree Seed inside of the Pet Storage Space.

This time, Lin Fan didn't hesitate as he punched out in front of him.

These punches created spatial distortions that caused a suction force to start draining away at the death energy.

The suction force drained the death energy quickly and then it was absorbed by the connection to the Pet Storage Space.

While Lin Fan had no idea what was happening inside of the Pet Storage Space, he could tell from his connection that the concentration of death energy inside the Pet Storage Space was getting stronger.

It seemed that the death energy he was draining was being properly used to nurture the Nine Desolation Tree Seed.

He couldn't help wondering if the Nine Desolation Tree Seed had already started growing because of all the death energy that he was providing it.

After draining the death energy from the temple for a bit, the death energy waves coming from it seemed to be getting weaker.

It took a bit longer, but Lin Fan was able to reduce it to the point where he was able to send his puppets in.

Though since the death energy in this temple was stronger than the other one, it meant that the death energy of this place came back quicker than in Huo Mu Chen's temple. From time to time, Lin Fan had to keep punching out in front of him to create more spatial distortions to drain this recovering death energy.

However, he only had to punch once and it would keep draining for a bit since the concentration had already decreased. The regeneration of the death energy wasn't strong enough that it was more than one spatial distortion could handle.

But it wasn't as if this was a bad thing.

After all, this was a continuous source of death energy for the Nine Desolation Tree Seed.

After scouting out the area, Lin Fan headed into the temple.

This temple was just like the one that he had entered before, it was completely void of anything.

So there was nothing for him to do after entering the temple other than…

"Are you there?" Lin Fan asked out loud, seemingly to no one at all.

There was a moment of silence that followed before a voice said, "You shouldn't be here."

This voice was different from the one from before.

The voice of Huo Mu Chen was one that was filled with arrogance and pride, this was a voice that was much more humble and calm.

If he had to compare them, this voice seemed more like the voice of a good person and Huo Mu Chen seemed like a bad person.

But it was still too early to judge them.

It would be wrong to come to an assumption before knowing more about the owner of this voice.

So Lin Fan calmly replied, "But I am here. So I want to know if you need my help to revive yourself."

"It seems like you know quite a bit." The voice gave a pause before continuing, "But you don't seem to have the power to back up that statement. Even if you want to help me, it doesn't seem like you have the power to do it. So there's no reason for you to be here. This place is very dangerous, so you should leave as soon as possible."

It seemed that this voice was concerned about Lin Fan being here, not just because he shouldn't be here. It seemed that this voice was actually concerned about Lin Fan's safety unlike Huo Mu Chen.

Lin Fan didn't say anything in response as he just calmly raised his fist.

With a single punch, he created a spatial distortion in front of him that started releasing the suction force.

The suction force started draining the death energy that was around him.

The other he did this was because the one that he had left outside had run out, so now he was using this to stop the regeneration of the death energy.

After a long silence, the voice said, "Alright, it seems that you have the ability to be in this place. However, that doesn't mean that you should be in this place. You don't know what's hiding in this place, so it's dangerous for you."

Lin Fan just calmly replied, "I'm curious about what happened between your All Time Sect and the Chaos Sect. That's why I'm here to hear your side of the story."

The voice once again fell silent.

It was only after a long time that the voice said, "So it seems that you even know about this. Then why do you want to know about what happened between the All Time Sect and the Chaos Sect? There's nothing that you can do about this."

"I only know that you fought because of an artifact, but I also want to know more about your two sects. After all, only by knowing more about your two sides can I decide who to help." Lin Fan said in a calm voice.

"You've already talked to the ones from the Chaos Sect?" The voice quickly asked Lin Fan.

Lin Fan once again said in his calm voice, "I've learned a few things from them, but I want to hear your side of the story as well. Only when I know both sides can I come to a proper judgement."

The voice didn't say anything in response.

With the way that it was silent, Lin Fan almost felt like the owner of the voice was just silently judging him.

He didn't say anything as he stood there waiting for the voice to say anything.

"What else do you want from us?" The voice said without telling the story.

"I just want what anyone wants. You have treasures and you need help. I'll never say no to receiving treasures." Lin Fan replied in a calm manner.

The voice didn't say anything in response, almost as if it was too stunned to say anything.

In the end, the voice broke the silence by saying, "You really are something else. Aren't you afraid that you'll be making a lot of enemies like this?"

"Maybe, but I'll deal with that when the time comes. For now, it's more important that I receive your artifacts and treasures since that'll help me survive long enough to help you." Lin Fan said in an almost teasing voice.

"Ha, ha, ha." A chuckle rang through the air when Lin Fan said this.

Lin Fan couldn't help being surprised since for the first time, the voice had changed.

It had gone from a voice that seemed a bit muffled to a clear voice.

The voice sounded like the sound of an oriole singing when it laughed.

It seemed that the owner of this temple was a woman and she shouldn't be an ugly one with the sound of her voice.

"Very good, you're quite the perceptive and rational person. This is the kind of person that survives the longest in our world." The voice said with a sigh.

Then in a different tone, the voice said, "If you want to know more about the All Time Sect and the Chaos Sect, I can tell you. It's just that I don't think that you'll get the information that you want since it's from a time that has long passed."

Lin Fan slowly gave a nod as he said, "It's better than having no information at all."

"Well, you're right about that." The voice agreed with him on this.

Then the voice started telling Lin Fan a story about the past of the All Time Sect and the Chaos Sect.

It told him about the special artifact that was once found in these lands and how they had fought to lay claims on the artifact.

But the most important thing was what they had been planning to do with the artifact.
