Chapter 22: Su Chen Was Beaten to Death:
As Su Chen stepped into the living room, Liu Zhe and the others immediately turned their malicious gazes toward him. Their expressions were filled with ridicule, and Tang Ye even grinned, looking eager to cause trouble.
Su Chen ignored them. He knew they would come looking for trouble on their own.
Just as he was about to walk up the stairs, they made their move.
Liu Zhe was the first to step forward, blocking Su Chen’s path. With his arms crossed, he looked at Su Chen with contempt.
“Hey, little beggar, I heard you upset our boss, Su Mu?”
“Your courage must be growing, huh?”
“Who do you think you are, daring to make our boss angry?”
“You better kneel down and apologize to Su Mu right now. Swear that you’ll listen to everything he says from now on.”
Wang Yi, Zhang Fan, and Tang Ye quickly followed, standing beside Liu Zhe and surrounding Su Chen.
“Otherwise, Su Chen, you already know what will happen… You’ll regret it.”
Zhang Fan smiled slightly, not believing for a second that Su Chen would resist.
Tang Ye, on the other hand, looked downright excited.
“Su Chen, don’t listen to them. Really, I hope you won’t listen.”

Wang Yi stood silently, but his stance said it all—he was ready for a fight.
Su Chen frowned. A simple exchange of insults wasn’t enough. This wasn’t going to work for his plan. He needed more than just words. It looked like he would have to push them further.
He turned to face them, making sure all four of them could see and hear him clearly. Then, with a smirk, he spoke in a low, disdainful voice.
“You filthy mutts.”
“Bastards raised by nobodies.”
“Spineless dogs with no real upbringing.”
Liu Zhe and the others froze.
They never expected Su Chen, of all people, to curse at them.
This was the same guy who always endured their bullying in silence.
And now he was fighting back?
Their shock quickly turned into fury.
Liu Zhe was the first to react. His face twisted with rage as he lunged forward, reaching out to grab Su Chen by the collar. Zhang Fan, Tang Ye, and Wang Yi followed suit, raising their fists, ready to beat Su Chen into the ground.
They had never actually hit him before. They had always just humiliated him with words.
But after hearing what he just said, all their restraint snapped. They had to teach him a lesson.
Su Chen grinned. This was exactly what he wanted.
Just as Liu Zhe’s hand was about to grab him, Su Chen suddenly collapsed backward.
As he hit the floor, he began rolling around, twisting and flailing, screaming at the top of his lungs.
“AHHHH! AHHH!”
“IT HURTS! THEY’RE HITTING ME!”
As he rolled, he reached into his pocket and smeared tomato juice all over his face, mouth, and chest.
The scene instantly turned gruesome.
His face and clothes were covered in red, making it look like he was bleeding everywhere. He continued rolling on the floor, convulsing, crying, and clawing at the ground.
Liu Zhe and the others stiffened in shock.
They looked down at their hands.

Why was he acting like they had beaten him half to death?
Su Mu, watching from the sidelines, panicked.
He never told them to actually hit Su Chen.
Why were these idiots getting physical?
