Yu-Gi-Oh!: Transformed into a Girl, Starting with Trickstar

Chapter 21: TST [21]

The arena was dead silent.

No one had even processed what was happening before Morgan shoved all five cards from her hand into the Duel Disk one after another, ending her turn with flair.

The five glaring face-down cards on the field made it clear: they hadn't seen wrong.

After a brief moment of stillness, the arena erupted into uproarious laughter.

"Hahaha, what is that bottom-feeder doing? She used to only summon monsters, and now all she knows is setting cards?"

"Or maybe she's completely given up and is just throwing junk out there?"

"Looks like Zion's about to set the record for fastest exam win."

Even Isla frowned at Morgan's move. Only setting cards without summoning a single monster? What was Morgan thinking?

If she had attended even a single lecture on Dueling, she wouldn't end her turn without summoning at least a wall monster.

The path to victory in a Duel was simple: reduce your opponent's Life Points to zero.

And to do that, you needed to attack with monsters.

Even in high-level Duels, brute-force attacks were still the core strategy.

Now that Morgan had actively abandoned that route, she was putting herself at an overwhelming disadvantage.

Without any means of ending the Duel, she was just waiting to be slaughtered.

Milo frowned and shook his head at the scene. He had definitely been overthinking things earlier.

What real Duelist would pull off such a childish, defeatist move?

It seemed that the identity of that mysterious Duelist was still most likely Mr. Grant.

However, among the crowd, one person didn't think Morgan was playing around… In fact, she found it terrifying.

That person was Jade, who had once personally experienced Morgan's infamous Five Set strategy.

That Duel had left a massive impression on her… It had opened the door to an entirely new world. The most immediate effect being that Jade's Deck now had a skyrocketing number of Trap Cards.

Turns out, the Underworld is contagious.

Once you've tasted its wicked sweetness, there's no going back.

Jade felt like she had been shaped into Morgan's image.

Meanwhile, Zion was staring at Morgan's loaded back row with disdain. To him, she had already thrown in the towel.

But he, too, had made a misstep.

Because Morgan ended her turn too fast, he had forgotten to activate the effect of [Alpha the Electromagnet Warrior]. Now, his Graveyard was empty, meaning he couldn't summon [Berserkion the Electromagna Warrior].

Still, that wasn't a big problem. He had prepared for this exact scenario and had included counters in his Deck.

"My turn, draw!"

Zion glanced at the card he drew and immediately slapped it onto his Duel Disk. It was exactly the card he needed.

"I Normal Summon [Delta the Magnet Warrior] in Attack Position!"

[Delta the Magnet Warrior] Level 4│EARTH│Rock│1600 ATK

A new form of Magnet Warrior appeared on the field, linking up with the other in a curious formation.

"Activate the effect of [Delta the Magnet Warrior]!"

"When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, I can send 1 Level 4 or lower 'Magnet Warrior' from my Deck to the Graveyard."

"I send [Gamma the Magnet Warrior] from my Deck to the Graveyard!"

"Now the summoning conditions for [Berserkion the Electromagna Warrior] are fulfilled!"

Zion pinched a card between his fingers and held it up for Morgan to see.

"I banish [Alpha the Electromagnet Warrior], [Beta the Electromagnet Warrior], and [Gamma the Magnet Warrior] from my hand, field, and Graveyard to Special Summon [Berserkion the Electromagna Warrior]!"

The three Magnet Warriors emerged on the field, then disassembled and merged into a new monster under the pull of a magnetic field.

[Berserkion the Electromagna Warrior] Level 8│EARTH│Rock│3000 ATK

"Look! Zion's ace is here!"

"Amazing! He summoned a monster with 3000 Attack without breaking a sweat!"

"Morgan probably doesn't have anything stronger than that in her Deck. Looks like the Duel is over!"

Hearing the chatter around her, Isla clenched her fists, a hint of frustration on her face.

Was this really as far as Morgan could go?

Milo, on the other hand, was watching Zion with interest. The top student at Duel Academy really did have some skill. With proper training, he might become an excellent Duelist in the future.

Milo was already considering inviting Zion to trial at the club. After all, no club could rely solely on its current members—new blood was always needed.

As for Morgan...

Milo shook his head. At this rate, it was questionable whether she'd even graduate.

"Haha, battle! [Berserkion the Electromagna Warrior], attack Morgan directly!"

If this attack landed, Morgan would take 3000 damage and be thrown into a crushing disadvantage.

Just then, Morgan made her move.

She flipped her face-down cards, not just one—but all five at once!

Five cards flipped open simultaneously, creating an impressive display—And the first one to light up was the card Morgan often used to block attacks:

[Dimension Wall]!
