Chapter 61: Strengthened Bonds
**Earth-66 – Peter's House**
Peter stood outside, the cool evening air brushing against his skin as he waited. His phone buzzed in his pocket, and he pulled it out, surprised to see an unknown number.
Curious, he let his powers subtly analyze the caller's identity—and was somewhat surprised by the result.
It was Harry Osborn.
Then He answered the call.
"Hey, Pete. Do you remember me?"
Peter didn't even need to think. He smirked. "Of course, Harry."
The voice on the other end chuckled. "Heh, you got even more famous while I was away, huh? Anyway, how's the taste of the rich life?"
Peter's smirk widened. "It's fine. But shouldn't you know all about that 'rich life'?"
"Haha, damn right, Pete."
But then, Harry's voice took on a more serious tone. "Listen, Pete… I just got back home today. But things are… off."
Peter's eyes slightly narrowed. "What do you mean?"
There was a pause before Harry sighed. "It's complicated. Can you come over when you have time? There's a lot I need to discuss with you."
Peter already had an idea of what Harry wanted to talk about. "Alright, Harry. I'll come to your place tomorrow morning. That work for you?"
"Yeah. Thanks, Pete. See you then."
The call ended.
Peter slipped the phone back into his pocket—just as power surged through his body.
Lightning of six different colors crackled around him.
The Infinity Stones—all six of them—were now part of his very being.
His fist clenched as the power coursed through him. But he wasn't the only one feeling it.
Inside the house, Gwen and Jean also felt the energy ripple through their bodies.
Their connection to Peter—their soul bond—allowed them to experience the surge alongside him.
Luckily, Peter had already placed an illusion around the area, making sure no one—not even advanced tech—could detect what was happening.
Then he let the power to calm down and decided to explain somethings to Aunt May.
---
**Inside the House**
Peter walked back in to find Gwen and Jean standing up while checking their bodies.
Aunt May who is standing nearby, looked shocked by the sudden burst of energy.
Jean turned to Peter. "What… was that?!"
Gwen raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, Pete, what's going on?"
Peter smiled. "Relax. I just gained some interesting new powers. And apparently, a portion of that energy was shared with you two."
To be honest it's not the first time Peter power increased their strength. But all this time it was minimal or Peter controlled the power and let it flow slowly through their bodies but this time he let the energy flow through them normally.
It is the first time they experienced such huge change of Power, so they are naturally surprised by it.
Jean and Gwen exchanged a look before grinning.
"So, you're telling us… we just got stronger?" Gwen smirked.
Jean smirked as well while touching her temples. "I can feel it. My telekinesis, my mind—it's like everything just expanded, I can feel more..."
Peter nodded. "It's because of our bond. Our souls are linked, so whenever my power grows, a part of it flows into you both as well. Didn't I already explained it, this time I gained somthing big, now you guys also got it's benifits."
May who had been silently watching, let out a breath. "I… I don't completely understand all this 'bond' stuff, but… as long as nothing bad is happening to you three, I won't complain."
Peter then studied Gwen and Jean for a moment.
Yes, he could share all of his power with them.
But that would limit their own growth.
If they relied too much on his strength, they wouldn't develop their own unique abilities. That wasn't something Peter wanted.
Instead, he decided to take a different approach, He would enhance their bodies, minds, and souls to their natural limits.
He would help them awaken and master their own unique powers.
Only after they fully mastered what they already had would he grant them something new.
Mastering one power at a time would be more beneficial for them in the long run.
His situation was different. Thanks to Raphael, Peter could instantly master any skill. But for Jean and Gwen, rushing their growth would only hinder them.
May suddenly sighed while crossing her arms.
"Well, since you're all in good shape, I guess it's time we resume the talk."
Peter raised an eyebrow.
May smirked. "Get out, I wanted to resume our girl talk with Jean and Gwen."
Peter already knowing where this was going, smirked. "You don't have to. I already know what you asked them—and what you are about to ask."
May's eyes narrowed. "Oh really? Then why don't you enlighten me?"
Peter chuckled. "You asked them if I forced this bond on them. Or if they're truly okay with it."
May's expression didn't change, but her gaze flicked to Jean and Gwen.
Jean and Gwen glanced at each other. Peter had nailed it word for word
And they both immediately shook their heads.
"No, Aunt May," Jean reassured. "Peter didn't force anything on us. The bond happened naturally."
Gwen nodded. "And we're both happy with it."
May's expression softened slightly, but she still seemed deep in thought, then turned back to Peter. "Alright, smart guy. Since you already know everything, what was I going to ask next?"
Peter's smirk widened.
"You were going to ask… Are you really the same Peter Parker I raised? You merged with some alien, after all."
May's eye twitched slightly.
Peter sighed, his tone growing softer. "May, I'm still me. The alien and I merged together, it didn't harm me, it just made me better, Stronger, smarter… but my soul hasn't changed. Atleast not completely."
May studied him carefully and her expression is unreadable. After a long moment, she finally sighed.
May studied him for a long moment before sighing.
"Alright. I want to believe that, Pete. But… I had to ask."
Jean and Gwen nodded in understanding, knowing how much Peter meant to May.
For a brief second, there was silence.
Then May's expression darkened.
Peter immediately knew what was coming next.
Before she could even open her mouth, he spoke first.
"And now… you were going to ask if Jean and Gwen are okay with me having a harem."
May blinked. Then, her eyes twitched hard.
She marched up to Peter before grabbed his ear, and pulled.
"You little brat! Stop peeking into private conversations and memories! That was supposed to be girl talk!"
Peter is completely unfazed, simply grinned. "It's not my fault, May. The bond lets me always hear and feel what's going on with them. And You're thoughts are allover your face, I didn't even need to use my power to know what's going on in your head."
May's eye twitched harder. She twisted his ear even more.
Jean and Gwen, watching the scene, tried not to laugh.
May glared at Peter. "You really don't feel pain from this, do you?"
Peter smirked. "Nope."
May gritted her teeth. "You little…! If you don't stop smiling, I swear I'll slap your ass in front of your girlfriends!"
Peter's grin instantly vanished. "…You wouldn't."
May smirked. "Try me."
Peter sighed. "Jeez, fine. Can we all just sit down and talk civilly now?"
Jean and Gwen exchanged amused looks before bursting into laughter.
May the finally letting go of Peter's ear and smiled. "Alright, alright. Let's all sit down."
Peter smirked. He leaned in and kissed May's cheek. "I knew you were the best."
May rolled her eyes but smiled. "Flattery won't get you anywhere, Parker. Now, sit. We've got more to discuss."
And so, they all sat down—and their conversation quickly turned into one filled with laughter.
.
.
.
Peter leaned back to the sofa, watching as May, Gwen, and Jean talked and laughed together.
'This went better than I expected,' he thought. Seeing them happy like this only strengthened his resolve—he would protect them. He would give them a life free from fear, a life full of happiness.
But the moment of peace had to end.
They keep talking for an hour and the conversation didn't seem to end.
Peter then decided and turned to Jean. "It's time to go back to your home Earth."
Jean blinked. "Already?"
Peter nodded. "The timeline there is accelerated like crazy. While only a few hours passed here, months have already gone by there."
Jean's eyes widened in shock. "months?"
Peter sighed. "Yeah. But don't worry, my other self is there. I explained your disappearance and handled things while you were gone."
That didn't stop Jean from looking conflicted. She did want to go back, but she had also grown attached to May and Gwen.
Then, something unexpected happened. "I don't like this."
Peter turned in surprise—to find May crossing her arms while frowning.
"Me neither," Gwen added and her expression mirroring May's.
Peter raised an eyebrow. "You don't like what?"
May sighed. "Sending Jean back so soon. It just feels… rushed."
Gwen nodded. "Yeah, I feel like we barely got to know her. I mean, we talked, but there's still so much more."
Peter rubbed the back of his neck. "I get it. But you guys need to understand—her world is moving way faster than ours. If we delay, she might return to a completely different time."
Jean bit her lip. She hadn't considered that. "How… bad is the time difference?"
Peter didn't answer immediately. Instead, he raised a hand, and suddenly, the air around them shimmered.
A large holographic projection appeared, showing a side-by-side comparison of their timeline and Jean's.
Jean's world was moving so much faster—months had already passed there while barely any time had passed here.
May's eyes widened at the sudden display of power. "Peter… what the hell was that?"
Peter shrugged. "I'll explain everything about my abilities later. For now, just focus on the fact that Jean's world won't wait for her."
Jean swallowed hard. The truth was right in front of her. If she stayed any longer, she might return to a world she no longer recognized.
"…I have to go back," she finally said and her voice is firm.
May sighed while running a hand through her hair. "…Fine."
Gwen let out a small groan. "Ugh, this sucks."
Still, they knew this was the right choice. They all stood up and was ready to send Jean home.
May suddenly stepped forward and pulled Jean into a tight hug.
"If this idiot does anything to upset you," she whispered, "just tell me. I'll beat his ass. Literally."
Peter winced. "Really, May?"
Jean chuckled while hugging May back. "I'll keep that in mind."
Gwen then moved closer, hugging Jean as well. "I wish we had more time. I feel like we could be really good friends."
Jean smiled. "Who says we can't still be?"
Gwen smirked before leaning in and whispering in Jean's ear. "…We also could've teamed up to break Peter on the bed. I would've loved to try that sometime."
Jean's eyes widened slightly before she let out a small laugh. "You're terrible."
Gwen just grinned. "And you're interested."
Peter, who had heard everything, simply smiled, already imagining the scene of both Gwen and Jean on his bed... naked.
Then—
SMACK!
May slapped his back.
Peter blinked. That… actually hurt a little? That should've been impossible, considering his power level.
May glared at him. "Stop imagining weird, perverted things and take her home, you little brat."
Jean and Gwen burst into laughter at Peter's expression.
Peter sighed. "Jeez, May… you're acting like you like Jean more than me."
May smirked. "Maybe I do."
Peter groaned but didn't argue. He turned back to Jean. "Are you ready?"
Jean took a deep breath and nodded.
Peter nodded back. A blue portal suddenly opened behind them—and immediately sucked them in.
As they disappeared, May sighed. "That boy is going to give me so many headaches."
Gwen just grinned. "Yeah, but he's our headache."
May chuckled. "Fair point."
