Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 248: The Queen

[Attempt to create two new Fallen was successful.]

Suddenly, a light appeared between the sky and the ground, covering the bodies of Azrak and Pride. After a few moments, it vanished, revealing their transformation.

Fortunately, it turned out just as Daniel wanted—their bodies and faces were exactly the same as before.

[Please choose a name for them.]

"Pride and Azrak," he pointed to each of them in turn and gave them their old names.

[Confirmed.]

[Your Fallen have been successfully created.]

[You have obtained 10% of their stats.]

[You gained two extra lives.]

[You can copy one of their skills or 10% of their EXP.]

"Hail the Master," they both kneeled before Daniel. He smiled and, for now, canceled their summoning.

Unfortunately, it seemed like they had forgotten their past memories entirely. They didn't even remember who he was.

He closed the panels and moved on to the other Corruption Beasts' corpses. From many of them, he could create new Fallen.

[You have successfully created a new Fallen.]

[You have successfully created a new Fallen.]

[You have successfully created a new Fallen.]

[You have.....]

In the end, he managed to create around twenty-two new Fallen. Six of them had mid-rank B power, and the rest were all standard B-rank Fallen.

He obtained twenty-two extra lives and 10% of their stats. A new stream of power surged through his entire body.

He glanced at their panels briefly and, unfortunately, realized that none of them had any special skills. In fact, most of them didn't have any skills at all.

So, he decided to take 10% of their EXP instead.

[You have successfully obtained 83,000 EXP.]

Daniel felt a surge in his strength. Still, it was like a drop in the ocean. Even with all that EXP, he couldn't reach mid-rank B. He doubted he even came close.

Still, it was good. Right now, getting stronger however he could was all that mattered. After all, he'd soon be facing a rank S.

A freaking rank S! Just thinking about it made him let out a deep sigh.

He looked around. Seeing he hadn't missed anything, he was about to take flight and leave.

But suddenly, he felt a warm wind behind him. His eyes trembled for a moment, and a sense of danger rushed over him. He dodged immediately.

Just as he moved, a massive insectoid hand slammed down where he had been standing, striking with so much power it created a huge crater.

"Damn this luck!" Daniel almost cursed out loud. He turned and realized—the Queen had awakened.

The massive insect let out a growl again, but this time, it didn't attack. It only stared at him.

He glanced at the exit path—it was only a few meters away. If he flew at full speed, he could escape.

But suddenly, the Queen's hand attacked again... so fast that he didn't even notice it coming.

Boom! Boom!

Explosions rang out, and dust filled the air. He didn't need to see to know what had happened.

The monster had completely destroyed the exit.

"You filthy monster, what the hell did you do?" Daniel wanted to curse again, but he knew it was pointless.

The two stared at each other again. The intent to kill in the Queen's burning red eyes was obvious. She was clearly enraged by the death of her children at the hands of this human.

He was also trying to gauge her power. Unlike what Philip, the mayor, and August had said, this giant insect was not weak at all. In fact, she was at least rank A.

After all, only rank A monsters can create that many B-rank Corruption Beasts.

If he had his full skills, it wouldn't be a problem. He could defeat her easily and even gain a new rank A Fallen.

'Ah, that's right… I can still use Fallen Step to escape.' He suddenly remembered that he could still use that skill.

With that realization, his calm returned. This way, he didn't have to worry about a way out.

Now, should he run or fight?

Another rank A Fallen was definitely tempting. Not to mention, the potential skills this monster might have were even more tempting.

But should he risk it? Even if he didn't die, his life could seriously be in danger.

"To save my family, I have to go up against a rank S. I need to get stronger however I can, or that bastard will crush me instantly." Daniel sighed.

Does what he wants even matter now? He's far too weak right now. If he wants to get stronger, there's only one way—he cannot miss any chance to grow stronger.

Every time he pushes himself to the limit, he exceeds his potential and becomes far, far stronger.

Once again, he drew the sword The Heavens Honor. A deathly aura radiated from it. After absorbing the lives of so many Corruption Beasts, his sword had reached the final stage of its evolution.

By consuming the life of this massive monster, it would certainly evolve and perhaps finally unlock its innate skills.

Daniel was curious about what innate skills the sword had. Were they useful or a waste of time? — Though, as one of the strongest, if not the strongest sword across both worlds, he doubted its innate abilities were weak.

The Queen of the Corruption Beasts let out a cold, rattling sound. Her voice was ear-piercing and awful—almost like a shriek, but there was a clear threat behind it.

The monster stared at Daniel with furious, blood-red eyes, and then a roar like a raging storm burst from her throat. Without warning, she unleashed [Golden Thunder].

A massive wave of golden energy shot toward Daniel at lightning speed, tearing through the ground and ripping the air apart.

"What the hell is this—" He tried to run the moment he sensed the energy charging at him, but there was no time.

Heck, he didn't even have the time to react. The blast struck him, and his body was slammed into the wall of the cave like a ragdoll. Stones shattered under the pressure, blood sprayed from his mouth and nose, and his bones cracked from the force.

The pain was so overwhelming it felt like his body was falling apart. For a moment, darkness surrounded him.

The Queen growled, her voice shaking the cave: "Pathetic human, you dared to destroy my children?"

It seemed the Queen could speak too.
