Chapter 204: Stealing.
"Prav, Yav, and Nav," Amaryllis pointed at the top of the tree, the trunk, and down below the roots. "There are only three worlds in Slavic mythology. Where the Gods live, where humans live, and where the dead and demons live," Amaryllis added as she guided Aurea to Nav.
"The dead and demons? So they both live in the same place? What a shitty world," Aurea asked and looked at the giant entry in between the roots.
"Yes. The Slavic has no hell or heaven, and the dead go to Nav where they will remain and live eternally in a place with no living beings but the dead, a silent peace. Those who died prematurely, they will become demons, and they live not in Nav or Yav, they live somewhere in between," Amaryllis answered. "That is also the same in Norse mythology, the dead will go to Niflheim, and those who are chosen can live among the Gods. Bogatyrka is the Valkyrie in Slavic mythology," Amaryllis pointed out.
Aurea hummed as she stood in front of the hole and could smell the foul scent coming from it. A smell of dried blood, moss, and dirt that smelled like fun to her, and couldn't wait to go down there. But before she could go, she heard the sky tear by strong lightning, and that made her look back.
"I think the party has started over there, and I wonder if I can join after I'm done down there," Aurea said and she looked jealous of the destruction that happened in the distance where Lillith single-handedly dealt with all the Gods of Slavic.
Bolts of lightning struck the ground like rain and it was enough to shake the ground. A firestorm and a blizzard were coming toward where the bolts of lightning were. It was chaos with never-ending destruction toward Lillith, and they didn't show a single hesitation to obliterate her.
"That blizzard, it's her isn't it?" Aurea asked as she looked at the blizzards with icicles like asteroids hitting the ground.
"Yes, that's Mara from the Slavic mythology, one of the five," Amaryllis nodded her head. "Would you like to stay and deal with her first?" Amaryllis asked and looked at Aurea.
"No, it's a waste of time because she can come back to life over and over. I'm not going to ruin Lillith's fun time," Aurea answered and then turned around to look at the hole. "Let's find this Volos," Aurea said and then jumped down into the hole.
Lillith dodged the lick of fires that were being whipped from the firestorm, and the fire spark was enough to burn a tree into ashes. She had to dodge the icicles as well that varied in size where some were as big as a needle enough to freeze a whole river in an instant. Not to mention she was being struck by bolts of lightning that were so precise she had a hard time avoiding them.
"You're not welcome here, mortal!" A man in a red robe that only covered the bottom half of his body with twelve fireballs rotating behind him with his hair made of raging flames said. "Your death awaits!" He continued and pulled out a giant sword emblazed in flames that was twice his size.
The man disappeared and he reappeared at the fire spark next to Lillith. He swung his giant sword down to cut her body in half, but Lillith spun and kicked the man's body away from her.
Before Lillith could retract her leg, a woman in all white with her skin as white as snow appeared in front of her. She had no expression and she held a giant scythe that was already swung right on Lillith's neck.
Lillith leaned her head back and down, and she barely dodged it. The snowflake that hit her face and it was cold and stinging, the snowflake started to spread around her face and made her blind. She immediately dashed away as she skinned her own face because it was impossible to get rid of the frostbite.
The moment she could see, a man in full plate armor stood in front of her and hit her in the face with his hammer. Lillith was startled by it and she could feel a tingling feeling all over her body because lightning struck inside her body.
Lillith's face had regenerated and she saw the three of them standing side by side with their weapons ready. Hundreds of Gods were standing behind them and prepared to give her hell because they were all furious.
"You think I'm in your world and I can't win against you all?" Lillith asked as she pulled out her daggers. "Bold of you to think you can win against me just because you were ganking me. But, I'm not trapped here with all of you, you guys are trapped with me," Lillith pointed out as she activated her [Abysmal] skill.
Lillith took control over their powers and she controlled the firestorm and the blizzard. She immediately used the same tricks that they used against her and killed the Gods behind those three.
Those three were surprised by how they could no longer control their powers. They couldn't stop their powers from killing the Gods behind them, and when they thought it was bad enough, the bolts of lightning struck the remaining that survived and killed them in an instant. They were powerless and couldn't do anything to stop it, and could only watch the Gods die by their powers.
"It feels so nice to kill them like that," Lillith said as she chuckled and spun the daggers in her hands. "You should be careful using your power from now on, but that doesn't matter anymore since there are only the three of you now," Lillith pointed out and readied her stance.
Lillith looked at each one of them and she had done some research about the Gods she would encounter. The one in the middle in full plate armor was Perun, Dimitri's sponsor, the God of the sky and thunder like Zeus. The man next to him was Svarog, the God of Flame, Perun's father used to be the king of Gods. The white woman was Mara, the Goddess of Winter's Death, Svarog's sister.
Perun pointed his hammer at Lillith, and Lillith felt her inside was being ripped apart. She had no idea what had happened, and then she remembered the hit she took. She was paralyzed because the lightning was still inside her and whatever it was, Perun could trigger it like a switch.
Knowing that she was paralyzed, Svarog and Mara appeared right in front of her. Before their weapons could touch her, they saw a smirk on her face. At that moment, they noticed they had fallen into her trap, and it was already too late for them.
Perun watched as Svarog's and Mara's heads fell to the ground and blood spurted out from their necks. He realized he had just killed his father and aunt, but he noticed that something was off and that Lillith had disappeared. He couldn't find her anywhere or sense her presence at all, and before he knew it, he saw daggers move out under his nose.
His head slowly looked up and saw Lillith's smirk right in front of his face. His head had been cut off and he could see his own back the moment the head fell to the ground. But, he didn't die, and his body casually picked his head and put it back like a hat.
He produced sparks in between his fingers and then struck Svarog and Mara. Their bodies moved on their own, and he was the one who controlled them by using the lightning he put inside their bodies.
"That's a really nice power, but thank you for bringing them back for me," Lillith smiled and took over the bodies from Perun. "I told you that you should be careful before using your power," Lillith said.
Perun was out of options, and he didn't know how to deal with Lillith because she was faster, stronger, and she could steal his power. He didn't have a choice but to use his ultimate skill and let himself get electrocuted by thousands of bolts of lightning. His body started to glow and get bigger and bigger until he became a hundred meters tall.
He thought that his ultimate skill couldn't be stolen by Lillith, but he was surprised when he saw Lillith getting struck by lightning. Unlike him, she didn't change her size, she took another power from the lightning which was the speed of it.
"If you won't die, then I'll make you wish you want to die," Lillith said and zapped countless times from the toes of Perun to all the way up his head.
