Lin Yongming's Mind's Eye followed the vines as they extended into the poisonous mist. If anything went wrong, he could immediately cut off Blue Silver Empress's connection to the vines.

"This is extreme heat-based fire poison and extreme cold-based frost poison!" Blue Silver Empress's spirit was deeply connected to her, and as soon as her vines entered the mist, she quickly identified the most potent toxins within.

"The poison mist is a combination of ice and fire toxins, mixed with other types of poisons, forming this complex toxic fog!"

Blue Silver Empress sensed that the poison mist contained a variety of toxins, with frost and fire toxins being the most intense. Combined with other weaker toxins, they formed this dark green mist.

"But this still doesn't explain why the poison mist remains so concentrated or where it comes from. There must be something guiding the mist," Blue Silver Empress analyzed with a slightly grave expression.

"A Yin, your breathing has become heavy. What's wrong? If it's too much, pull back," Lin Yongming urged.

"Xiao Ming, I'm fine. I'm just shocked by the toxicity of the mist. It contains so many different poisons that there's probably no antidote in the world for it," Blue Silver Empress explained.

"It's that toxic? Can we still explore it?" Lin Yongming asked, puzzled.

"It's going to be difficult. Even a Spirit Emperor wouldn't last more than a few minutes in this mist. Only a Spirit Sage, relying on their powerful physique and vast spirit power to protect themselves, could venture in. But the mist spans over a hundred meters, and without the ability to see or sense clearly, even a Spirit Sage could easily perish if they're not careful."

"The mist is dominated by fire and frost toxins, which explains why there are no spirit beasts around this area," Blue Silver Empress stopped her exploration and explained to Lin Yongming.

"If what you're saying is true, entering the mist would be like enduring the torment of ice and fire. But besides the poison, isn't there something else? My intuition tells me that this mist exists to protect some kind of treasure. The center of the mist might not be toxic but could be the location of that treasure," Lin Yongming speculated, stroking his chin.

"I'll continue exploring the mist to see what's inside," Blue Silver Empress nodded.

She extended her vines further into the mist, probing deeper.

"The further in we go, the stronger the frost and fire toxins become. What kind of treasure could produce such extreme and balanced toxins?" Blue Silver Empress was filled with curiosity.

Before long, the vines had extended over fifty meters. Suddenly, Blue Silver Empress felt as if she had entered a new world. The intense toxins were gone.

"Huh? Is this the end?" Blue Silver Empress wondered to herself, thinking she had passed through the mist.

"No, the intense toxins are gone, but the air here is filled with ice and fire spirit energy. My spirit seems to be reacting joyfully. The sensation suggests this is a downward-sloping area, like a crater formed by something."

Blue Silver Empress's vines weren't her eyes or spirit power, nor were they as precise as Lin Yongming's Mind's Eye. She could only vaguely sense the environment through the vines' touch.

"Could this be the center of the mist, the location of the treasure?" Blue Silver Empress thought, continuing to extend her vines toward the area with the densest spirit energy.

Suddenly, her vines touched damp ground. "It's wet! There must be water ahead, at the center of the crater."

She continued toward the damp area.

In an instant, Blue Silver Empress's face turned pale, and her body trembled. She quickly retracted her vines.

"Xiao Ming, it's so cold!" Blue Silver Empress said, her lips turning pale.

"A Yin, what did you touch?" Lin Yongming quickly embraced her, using his body heat to warm her up.

"I don't know. I think I touched an extremely cold pool of water," Blue Silver Empress said, shivering.

"Look, the tips of my vines are frozen. Without a doubt, this is the source of the frost poison. But where is the source of the fire poison?" Blue Silver Empress showed Lin Yongming the frozen tips of her vines, which had turned from blue-gold to frost-white.

"It seems A Yin touched the Ice Spring of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well," Lin Yongming thought, realizing she had been frozen by the Ice Spring.

"A Yin, it seems the only way to understand what's at the center of the mist is to venture into it," Lin Yongming said seriously. "But is the center of the mist also filled with poison?"

"The center isn't toxic, but it's filled with violent ice and fire energy. Ordinary people and animals would explode from the inability to adapt to such extreme conditions."

"But we can't even pass through the outer poison mist. Even if there's a treasure inside, it's likely toxic and wouldn't be of much use to us."

"And as you saw, I was frozen by the frost poison. I suggest we wait until we're at least Spirit Emperors before attempting to explore this place," Blue Silver Empress explained helplessly.

"If you touched an Ice Spring, such an intense area might have nurtured some rare treasures, like the Star-Eye Grass you once mentioned, which could heal my eyes," Lin Yongming said, trying to change Blue Silver Empress's mind.

"But with our current strength, we can't enter. I might be able to barely make it due to the special nature of my spirit, but you can't," Blue Silver Empress explained.

"A Yin, don't worry. My pure thunder spirit power can protect me from all harm. Toxins might not be as effective against me. And you have your second spirit skill, Blue Silver Protection, to enhance our physical resilience."

Lin Yongming, without revealing the true nature of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, tried hard to convince Blue Silver Empress to enter the treasure ground.

"But even so, with your current level as a 40th-rank Spirit Elder, there's a 90% chance you'd die from poisoning," Blue Silver Empress, though somewhat swayed, still shook her head, prioritizing Lin Yongming's safety.

"A Yin, don't you want me to regain my sight sooner? What if there's really Star-Eye Grass inside that can heal my eyes?" Lin Yongming said with a hint of sadness.

"This…" Blue Silver Empress looked at Lin Yongming's black blindfold and his downcast expression, momentarily at a loss for words.

"A Yin, trust me. I have confidence in myself," Lin Yongming said, holding her arms.

"Alright, let me think about it," Blue Silver Empress said reluctantly. "The poison mist is so intense that there must be some anti-toxin herbs growing nearby. Let me look for them."

"Okay, A Yin, thank you."

Blue Silver Empress began searching the ground. Soon, she walked over to a stone wall and plucked two plants.

"Xiao Ming, we're in luck. There are indeed anti-toxin herbs here. Although they can't completely neutralize the complex toxins, they can provide some protection," Blue Silver Empress said, removing the leaves and keeping the brownish-yellow roots.

"Really? That's great!" Lin Yongming nodded happily.

Blue Silver Empress washed the roots with water from her flask and handed one to Lin Yongming.

"Here, Xiao Ming, eat it. But it's very bitter!"

"Okay," Lin Yongming nodded, putting the root in his mouth and chewing it. An intensely bitter taste flooded his senses. He swallowed the juice and spat out the residue.

"A Yin, it's really bitter!" Lin Yongming said, his face contorting in discomfort.

"I told you it would be bitter," Blue Silver Empress said, putting her own root in her mouth.

"Ugh! It's so bitter!" Blue Silver Empress nearly spat it out.

"See?" Lin Yongming's mouth was still filled with the bitter taste.

"Alright, since we've come this far, let's venture into the center of the poison mist for your eyes," Blue Silver Empress said, taking a sip of water.

"Okay! Since the mist is so wide, let's rush through it as quickly as possible," Lin Yongming nodded.

"Good, I'll enhance you with my second spirit skill," Blue Silver Empress nodded, releasing her spirit. "Second Spirit Skill: Blue Silver Protection!"

"Spirit: Thunder Blade!" Lin Yongming summoned his Thunder Blade, forming a deep blue energy shield around himself.

"Xiao Ming, hold my hand. I'm still worried something might happen to you," Blue Silver Empress said with concern.

"Okay, A Yin," Lin Yongming nodded, taking her soft hand in his.

They approached the poison mist, now less than a meter away.

"The mist is right in front of us. Xiao Ming, are you ready?" Blue Silver Empress asked gravely.

"Let's go!" Lin Yongming replied firmly.

Blue Silver Empress also formed a protective blue energy shield around herself.

"3, 2, 1, go!" Blue Silver Empress counted down, and they rushed into the mist together.

Lin Yongming didn't feel much, but Blue Silver Empress saw the world around her turn dark green as they entered the mist.

Fortunately, the mist was only about fifty meters wide, and with their speed, they passed through it in less than a minute. Blue Silver Empress's vision cleared, replaced by vibrant red and frost-white colors.

It was like a world of ice and fire. The crater was illuminated by the interplay of red and white light.

"Stop!" Lin Yongming suddenly pulled Blue Silver Empress back, as they were about to fall into the crater.

"This is… Could we have reached the legendary divine realm?" Blue Silver Empress was captivated by the sight before her, her face filled with awe.

"Am I dreaming? Did I somehow enter the divine realm?" Blue Silver Empress couldn't find the words to describe the scene, so she compared it to the divine realm.

"A Yin, what do you see?" Lin Yongming asked, already knowing the answer.

"Wow! So many plants! These are legendary immortal herbs, each one a king among rare plants. We've struck gold!" Blue Silver Empress didn't answer Lin Yongming directly but instead stared at the plants below with starry eyes.

If eyes could sparkle, Blue Silver Empress's would be shining like stars.

"It's the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, formed by the Ice Spring and Fire Spring. No wonder the poison mist has such intense frost and fire toxins. The other toxins must come from the immortal herbs themselves," Blue Silver Empress muttered to herself, her eyes darting from one plant to another.

"Uh… It seems A Yin won't calm down anytime soon," Lin Yongming thought, sighing behind her.

"But after traveling so far, we've finally found the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. And it seems Dugu Bo hasn't discovered it yet," Lin Yongming mused.

After a while, seeing that Blue Silver Empress was still rambling excitedly, Lin Yongming walked over and tapped her on the shoulder. "A Yin, what do you see? Is there any Star-Eye Grass?"

"What? Star-Eye Grass? That thing wouldn't even count as a weed here," Blue Silver Empress replied without turning her head.

"Uh…" Lin Yongming was speechless, not because of her answer but because of her obsession with the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.

After a while, Blue Silver Empress finally calmed down.

"Xiao Ming, I'm sorry. The sight before me was just too unbelievable. I got carried away," Blue Silver Empress said playfully, hugging Lin Yongming's arm.

"A Yin, this is only the second time I've seen you so excited," Lin Yongming teased.

"Huh? When was the first time?" Blue Silver Empress asked, confused.

"Don't you remember? At the Royal Wetland Park, the day we confessed our feelings among the sea of flowers," Lin Yongming reminded her.

"That was different! My emotions weren't as intense as they are today," Blue Silver Empress blushed.

"Oh… I'm so hurt. It seems our special day can't compare to this place," Lin Yongming pretended to be sad.

"No, no, that's not true!" Blue Silver Empress said earnestly, looking worried.

"Alright, I'm just teasing you. Have you calmed down now?" Lin Yongming smiled, seeing her anxious expression.

"You little rascal! I'll hit you!" Blue Silver Empress realized she'd been tricked and lightly punched Lin Yongming's chest.

"You've been muttering to yourself since we entered. Can you explain what's here now?" Lin Yongming said, holding her hand.

"Okay, let me explain. Remember when I told you about the legendary plants?" Blue Silver Empress led Lin Yongming to the edge of the crater.

"I think so," Lin Yongming nodded.

"The plants around the crater are those legendary herbs. And the reason they can coexist is because of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well at the center, formed by the Ice Spring and Fire Spring."

"It's said that forming an Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well requires the coexistence of an ice mountain and a volcano. But ice and fire are incompatible, so it's impossible for them to exist together. Yet, I've been fortunate enough to witness this impossible phenomenon, like a scene from the divine realm."

Blue Silver Empress then began to explain the effects of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. Although her explanation differed slightly from Tang San's in the original story, the overall meaning was the same.
