Emperor and Dragon ( A Black Clover Fanfiction)

Chapter 28: Ch. 28 The demon war of clover pt. 2

Up in the air Galileo laughed loud for all to hear. "BWAHAHAHA! It looks like your demons aren't as tough as mine! Or brave for that matter, I mean who dies by their own curse? You sure know how to pick em' Meliodas. (I can't believe he died the exact same way as in the series.) If I didn't know any better, I'd say you came to deliver your commandments to me, Bwahahaha!"

Meliodas wore a scowl on his face, all around him his commandments were being pressured. Four had already fallen in battle and yet Greyroad was still alive and kicking. Well, alive yes. Kicking? Not so much…The now demonized Irene was basically toying with him. Outmatched in speed, magic, power, tactics and now darkness the poor demon had become subject to many tortures. Not a single one of the many demons that comprised Greyroad's body was able to escape from the mother of dragon slaying magic. Immune to the effects of the other commandments, Irene was having a grand time watching the demons writhe in pain. Some died here and there but it was a small loss to her. With each new spell maniacal laughter filled the air. It startled many who thought she was all proper and composed, the way she carried herself who would have thought she was more sadistic than the demons!

"IRENE!" Galileo's shout startled her, but it gave the remaining pieces of Greyroad no opening. "It'd be nice if he was dead now."

"My apologies, I got carried away haha. Oh well I suppose my little games are over now. Die insect." Irene waves her staff at a nearby cloud, enchanting it. Now alive the cloud amasses over him and lets loose a horrifying column of dark lightning. All that remained was the commandment of pacifism. "You made a wonderful test subject for my demon magic."

With that kill everyone on the Clover side knew they were now able to kill their opponents. It marked the beginning of their counterattack on the ground, those just keeping the demons away from the gates began slaughtering the lesser demons. The captains put on a demon slaying clinic all displaying different kinds of new abilities they've developed. Julius was untraceable as he moved across the hordes stealing the time of countless old demons, he easily amassed a few millennia after this fight. Nozel's magic sword Acero de Selva sliced any unfortunate demons in his path to the smallest of pieces. Magma and golden flames rampaged throughout the battlefield as the Vermillion's siblings oldest refused to be showed up by their little brothers. Jack, Yami and Charlotte fought covering one another with excellent teamwork using saber intent, ninjutsu and haki with their magic. Other demons had their magic drained by giant roots of the world tree Yggdrasil, Vangence carefully monitored the battlefield providing support and healing from a high branch. Some demons disappeared into Dorothy's dream world never to be seen again. They're ferocity help boost the morale of the weaker knights. Gueldre, however was nowhere to be found.

Magnus was particularly ecstatic because now Morgiana could fight more ferociously without worrying about who dies.

"Little sister go fight!" says Magnus as he ponders at which stage should he help her.

"O-Okay." She studders, then she jumps from the city wall trembling she looks for an opponent but before she can even start to look around four red demons, and two gray demons rush toward her. She starts to panic but she remembers Magnus gifted her nameless sword called an asauchi and told her to use it so she draws her sword. Immediately after something changes sword intent starts to spread around the battlefield, and an arrogant aura of a domineering sword unsheathed for the first time. She swung her sword 7 times at a rate even Magnus couldn't see more then 3. He abruptly rises to his feet not believing his own eyes, because 7 swings and the demons splat into blood balls then catch aflame and turn to ashes.

"HAHAHAHA,". An eerie yet arrogant laugh, like multiple voices in unison in and a Bloodlust spreads all around the battlefield, startling most. The little girl's hair turned 3 colors. Red, White, and Gold. "That's it! How dare these little ants call themselves Demons! I lived in the era of demons, gods and monsters, Big brother what the hell are these bugs?" Magnus was startled because he felt his bloodline tremble like something sleeping was stirred.

"Little girl kill a thousand and then you can brag." Magnus says coolly, thinking he wants to see her limits.

"Ughh, really? But they're so weak! I cant even see the point of fighting them, but I trust big brother so one thousand it is." She then falls into a mysterious stance with one arm behind her back and the sword arm above her head and activates her sharingan which has a red base with white and gold Magatama. "Lost art of Camelot: Sword judgement one thousand sword reign" she does a sword slash very slowly but all the blades slashes multiply into a thousand with more raining from the heavens and slaughters flying Gray demons, red demons and at least one hundred albion demons. She then looks up at Magnus with an arrogant smirk and was about to put her sword away but then she hears a whisper of ah name, "Asveron King of Slaughter, Massacre the Heavens." Her blank zanpakuto then changes it's shape into a blood red sword with a solid gold guard and handle. The image of a 6 armed asura manifests around her and screams. Stopping the whole battlefield to take a look.

"(Shikai already? Was she only pretending to be weak and timid? My little sister is a monster!)" No one was more excited by these developments than Magnus, but he remained cool and collected on the surface. "Very good Morgiana, I see you're ready for more advanced techniques."

"Hey what's with that little girl? Even the smallest Pendragon is that terrifying!"

"An asura? Why does a child possess the power of an asura!"

"I thought she was a scared little girl!"

Friend and foe alike were astounded by her sudden display, it seems there was more to Morgiana Pendragon than what met the eye.

"BWAHAHA little Magnus might be cooler than her big brother!" Seeing yet another great display shake the battlefield in favor of Clover and having been delivered another commandment Galileo was over the moon. Meliodas on the other hand was becoming increasingly upset, he thought his demons would have overwhelmed these humans long ago but everywhere he looked they were losing. Galileo was getting antsy himself all the fighting looked so fun. "Yomi no one interferes."

"Got it."

"What do you say we start the main event?" Both of them were of one accord on that. They immediately launch into each other trading fierce black punches to each other's jaw. Neither fell back but followed up with thousands more punches. The shock of those punches traded created a storm that blew everyone away for dozens of meters around. Meliodas pulls back and punches Galileo into the wall, but he composes himself before crashing and kicks off the wall.

Meliodas unsheathes the sword on his back and swings it a thousand times each throwing a dark blade "thousand god slayer!"

Galileo vanished mid-flight and reappeared in front of him just after the attack stopped. Galileo thrust one finger coated in destructive energy at Meliodas' heart (Magnus noted it's elemental make-up to be similar to the particle style). Meliodas could feel nothing but pure destruction and tried to dodge, but Galileo got his left arm completely obliterating everything from his shoulder to forearm. "Finger pistol: evil spear." Before Meliodas could react a massive bolt of purple lightning dropped on them. Meliodas used his sword coated in hellblaze to knock Galileo away stopping the lightning. He mended his arm with darkness and charged Galileo again. Claw verses sword, Galileo could tell with each strike he was getting faster and stronger than the last. Meliodas' eyes showed less and less emotion as it continued, his darkness spreading across his body. It molded into a black armor set with spikes and claws. He was entering assault mode.

Yomi and Irene watched all of the battles going on from the sky. Neither of them cared to intervene in anyone's fight and the lesser demons all stayed far away from them, the pressure they gave of was comparable to a royal demon. Passing the time they compared notes on the fights.

"Today has been entertaining. It seems they have done well in their training."

"I would say that of those three but, Galileo's form is appalling. His moves lose so much power because he isn't doing them right!"

"Hahaha that freakish strength of his compensates for a lot."

"Truly, it irks me to see my crafts used so sloppily. It seems he'll be going back to the basics...Hmm? Who are those two?" Over where Meliodas was originally watching from two demons also observe. One a pudgy old man and the other was a much younger looking man with a long mustache.

"I believe they're the demon princes' attendants. They probably won't move unless Meliodas and Zeldoris get seriously hurt."

"Oh my, a staring contest sounds unbelievably boring. Would you like to test that new power out?"

Yomi looks at Galileo and Meliodas trading blows furiously "(No fool would be dumb enough to get in the middle of that.) I would like to see the extent of this darkness…"

Lumiette and a red-haired man with soft feminine features and shoulder length red hair, Gowther, exchanged countless spears of light and energy arrows while moving through the air. Lumiette used her light magic to her advantage but Gowther's skill was formidable enough to bridge the gap. Like Galileo Lumiette believed in an overwhelming offense to keep the foe off balance, but unlike Galileo she was patient enough to wait for the perfect opening with a precise killer move. Using black pull Lumiette brought Gowther to her and at the same time her opposite hand's palm began to glow white hot. "Soul burn." Gowther could feel the intense heat and spiritual energy. Before they met hellfire blazed on both of his hands. Throwing them when he was just outside her range, she thrusted out her palm using her attack to counter the hellfire causing a huge explosion around her. Even through that a beam of light pierced through taking a chunk out of the demon doll's side. As a doll Gowther felt no pain but he knew that attack could have ended him.

After seeing those blue flames restore her wounds Gowther began to feel pressured "Her power is much higher than I initially thought, I'll have to use a different strategy against her." Gowther this time willingly charged at her with magic radiating from his palm.

"You're coming head on?" Lumiette's hands glowed white again and she charged to finish him. However, he cast an illusion causing her to see thousands of him attacking her. "(If I can't find the real one, I'll destroy all of them at once) Scream of the White shadow phoenix!" Lumiette breathed in and exhaled white, black and blue flames sweeping all of the clones away.

"Invasion." The real Gowther came from behind placing his hand on her head he went into her mind. He showed her time and time again how terrible Galileo was to her, and everyone else. He manipulated and distorted memories of him emphasizing his worst qualities. Not only Galileo, but her crude father, the other snobby nobles, and many others looked completely undeserving of her kindness(truthfully many of them really aren't). "Why fight for people who don't even care about you?" Lumiette could hear whispers in her ear but Gowther but he was nowhere to be seen. "You follow that worthless brat and-"

Using sheer willpower, she broke out of the illusion. Gowther jumped back as she burst into her tri colored flames. "How dare you mock my family with your petty illusions?" The sweet Lumiette's expression darkened as the air around her began to swelter, her conqueror's haki shook the battlefield.

"(She broke my illusion because she was offended? What kind of willpower is this?!)"

"I can tolerate a great many things," as she spoke the air burst into flames in the form of a great phoenix with brilliant blue wings wrapped around her. In it's eyes an endless abyss of darkness, on it's head a crown of light "but never, EVER insult my family!" The growing bird's radiance inspired awe yet at the same time a sense of fear, as if the jaws of death held certain glory.

"Heavenly phenomenon! Did she really figure it out after only seeing it once!" Magnus was taken aback seeing how quickly she had progressed. "Hahahaha this is excellent, there's hope for them yet! I can't help but wonder if Noelle was right. Did she figure it out before Galileo?" A demon almost stomped Magnus but Morgiana reduced it to little ribbons in a second.

"Pay attention big brother! It'll be embarrassing if one of these scum touches you."

"They're your training dummies not mine, don't let any get within fifty meters of me." Morgiana frowned at him but went back to fighting.

"She can't use that attack." Gowther charged another hell blaze arrow more powerful than any before and let loose a shot so hot the whole kingdom would turn to ash if it hit. Lumiette didn't move but the phoenix simply devoured the dark flames. "Flames against a phoenix? You truly are a fool. Phoenix queen's ascent" Following the motion of Lumiette's spreading arms the phoenix's wings spread her tri colored flames over all nearby in one powerful surge. Enemies, including Gowther were reduced to ashes in seconds but her allies caught inside were restored.

Noticing the last attack used almost all of her magic, Magnus warped her into a chair next to him before she fell. He brought the commandment over to her. "You did well, take a break here. Let's watch how this plays out." Despite not being able to move much she was anxious to go back to battle, at least to go help with the lesser demons. "Relax, that last attack was more than enough of your share of work. Your fiancé should be able to finish up."

Meliodas' power was continuing to rise as he kept fighting more and more savagely, his sword became coated in darkness and transformed into a black great sword. Galileo had boosted several times already to keep up. Using void energy Galileo's claws tore through Meliodas armor of darkness dealing fierce blows, but he returned his own devastating attacks. A rumbling backhand made Meliodas jump back but purple filled the cracks in the air and the range, power and speed of the rumbling increased several fold. Meliodas pulled all the darkness off his body and launched it as trillions of ultra-dense bullets. Their clash caused a huge explosion that blew them both away. Galileo immediately let loose a roar containing all of the primal elements in a destructive spiral. Meliodas used full counter to send it back, naturally the dragon started to devour the attack. Meliodas seized the opening and kicked Galileo in the back of his head into the elemental breath. An immense jet of black flames sent Galileo straight into the ground with a huge tremor rocking the whole area.
