Fairy Tail: Strongest Creature

"That's great! My magic's back!" Natsu clenched his fists. Before, he couldn't use any magic and couldn't even handle the Kingdom Army's weaker soldiers, which really got under his skin.

Now that he could finally fight again, he was determined to cause a ruckus.

Wendy also swallowed one of the X-Ball pills, and soon she felt her magic return.

Lisanna took one as well.

"Boom!" Lisanna's arms morphed into birdlike wings.

"Lisanna?" Edolas' Lucy exclaimed in surprise.

Lisanna smiled. "Don't forget, Lucy—I'm also a wizard from Earthland."

Lucy's eyes widened. "Lisanna, so your magic is just like Elfman's…?"

"Right. My sister Mirajane, my brother Elfman, and I each use Take Over magic. Sister Mira uses Satan Soul, Elfman uses Beast Soul, and I use Animal Soul."

Natsu's fists crackled with renewed power. "Now that our magic is back, it's time to rescue our guildmates!"

"Let's go! If we don't hurry, Su Yan will have finished all the enemies by himself!"

He immediately sprinted toward the Edolas Palace.

"Hey, you jerk—no leaving me behind!" Gajeel yelled, chasing after Natsu.

Lucy said, "We should go too!"

Though she was nervous about fighting a whole kingdom, Lucy was determined to save everyone in Fairy Tail. Before, she'd have just been a burden following Su Yan alone, but now Natsu and Gajeel were powered up again, and she could help.

"Mm!" Wendy and Lisanna followed suit.

Edolas' Lucy hesitated briefly, then ran after them.

"Scary Lucy?!" Happy exclaimed in surprise.

"Scary Miss Lucy?!" Wendy echoed.

"Who's scary Lucy?!"

Lisanna turned toward Edolas' Lucy. "But Lucy, this doesn't really concern you—why are you coming?"

"What do you mean it doesn't concern me?! The Royal Army wiped out so many of our guild's members. Besides, you're going too, so I'm not just going to watch!"

Everyone chuckled, touched by Edolas Lucy's resolve.

Inside the Edolas Palace:

As the explosion's smoke dissipated, Su Yan emerged unscathed. For someone at his level, that kind of blast was nowhere near enough to hurt him.

"He's so strong!" Pantherlily muttered. He'd already seen a display of Su Yan's power, but it was still astonishing that even Erza Knightwalker's attack had failed to harm him.

"Attack together, Erza!" Pantherlily said, rushing at Su Yan. His giant sword swung down toward Su Yan's head.

"Ha!" Su Yan's arm darkened with armament haki, and he punched Pantherlily's huge blade.

"Boom—-!!"

"Crack!!"

Pantherlily's massive sword shattered under the blow.

"H-how is that possible?! You actually destroyed my Destroyer Sword!" Pantherlily gasped.

Su Yan vanished in a blink and appeared before him, pressing a palm to Pantherlily's chest.

"Gwaaah!!"

Pantherlily screamed in pain, sent flying backward.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!" Several walls collapsed as his body smashed through them.

"Sonic Gun!"

Erza Knightwalker charged at high speed, spear thrusting toward Su Yan. He sidestepped her strike.

"I've heard that the Erza here is part of the Royal Army but seeing it with my own eyes is still surprising."

"What? Am I a Fairy Tail member in Earthland?" Erza Knightwalker demanded as she continued her assault. Su Yan blocked each strike with his arms.

"Heh. Back in Earthland, Erza grew up with me."

"I'm not that person!"

"I know," Su Yan said calmly. "I'm just making an observation. Though your speed is impressive, it's not enough to harm me."

"Om—-!!"

A fresh burst of conqueror's haki flared around Su Yan. This technique was incredibly handy, the most basic way to overwhelm opponents with pure will. Those with weaker spirits were knocked out; stronger-willed foes were still forced to stagger back under the mental onslaught.

In "gaming terms," it was a massive crowd-control move that could stun weaker enemies or at least force them to retreat. If an opponent was stubborn, repeated blasts of haki could make them lose composure—like what had happened to José, Phantom Lord's master.

"Ugh!" Erza Knightwalker reeled from the blow, shocked by the abrupt mental shockwave. She understood now why ordinary soldiers stood no chance against this man.

"Ice-Flame Spear!"

Her lance split into two short spears: one spat fire, the other ice, both converging on Su Yan.

"Om—-!!"

"Boom!!!"

Su Yan released another powerful wave of conqueror's haki, dispersing the fire and ice in an instant.

"Vacuum Gun!"

"Ugh!!"

Erza Knightwalker's vacuum blast struck Su Yan, forcing him backward.

"Boom boom boom!"

His heels carved two deep grooves in the palace floor.

"Sonic Gun!"

She rushed him again at high speed.

"Gravity Gun!"

When she reached him, her weapon shifted again. A black sphere formed at the tip of her spear, smashing into Su Yan.

"Snap!"

He caught the gravity sphere with his palm.

"—-!!"

A crushing gravitational force flung Su Yan through the air.

"Boom boom boom!!"

He tore through several walls before coming to a halt.

"Th-that was amazing!" 

"As expected of Captain Erza the 'Fairy Hunter!' She took him out!" 

"He's finally dead!"

The Kingdom's soldiers erupted into cheers. Just a moment ago, Su Yan's near-invincible rampage had driven them to despair. Seeing him seemingly defeated by Erza Knightwalker was cause for celebration.

"Whoaa…!" someone exclaimed.

But among the rubble, a lone figure stood up. Stones fell from him in a small cascade. The cheering instantly died.
