Ethan stood outside the hotel, fidgeting with his tie. He hadn't been back to this place since their senior prom, and a wave of nostalgia washed over him as he gazed up at the familiar facade.

"Come on, Ethan, let's do this," Alex said, clapping him on the back.

Ethan took a deep breath and followed Alex into the hotel lobby. They were immediately enveloped in a sea of familiar faces, all chatting and laughing as they reunited with old friends.

As they made their way through the crowd, Ethan's eyes scanned the room, searching for one face in particular. Charlotte.

He hadn't seen her in years, not since they'd drifted apart after graduation. Ethan wondered what she was up to now, whether she'd found happiness.

Just as he was starting to lose hope, he spotted her across the room. Charlotte looked stunning, her long brown hair falling in waves down her back as she laughed with a group of friends.

Ethan's heart skipped a beat as their eyes met. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the noise of the party fading into the background.

Then, Charlotte's face broke into a radiant smile, and she made her way towards him.
