Harry Potter: The Hogwarts Acceptance Letter

Chapter 10: Chapter 11 The Train Pulls into the Station

"Get this damn thing off me."

"Ouch, stop hitting."

"It hurts, it hurts."

...

Covered by the black cloth, Malfoy and the other two groaned in pain and struggled, trying to lift the black cloth covering them. But the black cloth was always controlled by some kind of force, and no matter how much they struggled, they couldn't break free.

Harry Potter and Ron stared at the scene in front of them, not reacting for a moment. Just now they were still throwing insults, and now it directly turned into Light unilaterally Flying Kick the trio.

Harry Potter and Ron exchanged a look and were just about to step forward to help.

Light then dodged and quickly walked towards Harry Potter and Ron. He grabbed both of them with his left and right hands at the same time and pulled them towards the seat, whispering to them seriously and in a low voice.

"Someone's coming. Don't say a word later. I'll handle it." After saying that, he made the two of them sit down. At the same time, he took out his wand and cast a healing spell on the three who were still struggling.

The black cloth covering the three quickly flew up and turned back into a robe, which draped back onto Light. After Light finished dealing with everything, a figure appeared outside the carriage.

"What's going on?" The person stood outside the carriage door, looking at Malfoy and the other two who were still lying on the ground. Then he looked sharply at the people inside the carriage.

"I don't know either. The three of them just came in and fell, and they were screaming. We don't know what's going on. We thought they had gone nuts. Scared me to death." Light looked at the person coming with an innocent face and said.

"Is that so?" The person took a deep look at Light and then asked Harry Potter and Ron.

Harry Potter and Ron quickly nodded.

"What do you have to say?" The person asked Malfoy and the other two who were struggling to get up from the ground.

Just as Malfoy was about to complain, Light suddenly spoke in a mocking and sarcastic way, "No way! No way! The heir of one of the Sacred Twenty - Eight families was beaten down by a Muggle wizard! How ridiculous!"

Malfoy, with a bruised and swollen face from the kicks, seeing more and more people coming over to watch the excitement, could only grit his teeth and say, "We just accidentally fell. It's nothing."

After hearing Malfoy's explanation, the person scanned the onlookers again and then said to Malfoy, "In that case, it's all right. You go back to your own carriage! Don't run around."

"All right, break it up!" After saying that, he pushed through the crowd and left.

Malfoy glared hatefully at Light. Without saying any harsh words, he was helped away by Goyle and Crabbe amidst everyone's whispers.

"You are amazing. How did you do that? That black cloth, that Flying Kick." Ron closed the carriage door and turned to Light, looking in admiration.

Harry Potter also nodded frantically beside him.

Light, who was sitting beside them, raised his right hand, pinched his index finger and thumb together, leaving a small gap, and calmly said, "A little bit of Spells, plus a little bit of skill I practiced in the orphanage."

Looking at Light's mysterious expression, Harry Potter and Ron admired him even more.

"Rumble rumble" The train passed through the woods and hills and came to a wilderness.

"What's wrong? You look so down in the dumps." Light, who had turned his gaze back from the window to the carriage, saw Harry Potter looking weighed down with worries.

"If you beat Malfoy, what if he tells the teachers and gets you expelled? Or what if he asks his family to take revenge on you?" Harry Potter looked worried.

Hearing this, Ron, who was eating snacks, also looked up and turned his gaze to Light.

Light casually picked up a piece of chocolate from the table and handed it to Harry Potter, said indifferently, "It doesn't matter. As long as you're not caught red-handed in a fight, it's hard to get evidence."

"Moreover, that guy just admitted that he accidentally fell. And there's no need to worry about his family either. A person from a noble wizarding family getting beaten up by three Muggles? If I were him, I wouldn't even dare to say it."

After hearing Light's explanation, Harry Potter and Ron felt relieved.

"By the way, what is the Sacred Twenty - Eight? Why do they look so arrogant?" After Harry Potter stopped worrying, he became curious about wizarding families again.

"The so-called Sacred Twenty - Eight are families that have never intermarried with Muggles and have never had a half-blood wizard in the family. So they call themselves pure - bloods and look down on half-blood wizards."

"They even think that people who have no wizard ancestors but possess Magic Power have mud in their veins and refer to them as Mudbloods."

"The Weasleys are also one of the Twenty - Eight!" After saying that, Light jerked his chin towards Ron.

Seeing Harry Potter looking at him, Ron quickly waved his hand and said, "There's such a saying, but I and my family never thought that way. Besides, our family isn't as wealthy as theirs."

"And those pure - bloods who are so arrogant all go to Slytherin. Our family has always been Gryffindor, so we're different, definitely different."

Just as Ron was excitedly explaining and continued to brainwash Harry Potter and Light about how terrifying and dark Slytherin was, and that they should never choose that house.

"The train will arrive at the station in ten minutes. Please leave your luggage on the train. We will deliver it to the school for you. Please don't worry."

While Ron was still talking passionately, the announcement of the train's arrival sounded.

Hearing the announcement, Ron stopped talking. The three of them quickly put away the unfinished snacks on the table.

The three of them walked out of the carriage together, followed the flow of people in the aisle towards the door to get off the train, and queued up in front of the door.

The train pulled into the station and slowly stopped. The carriage doors opened.

The young wizards got off the train one by one.

In September, autumn had already arrived in the UK, and it was clearly a bit cold and gloomy at night.

A gust of cold wind blew, and all the young wizards who got off the train looked at this small and dark station, feeling a sense of uneasiness in their hearts.

Light, Harry Potter, and Ron huddled together to keep warm.

Ron shivered and said, "Why isn't anyone here to pick us up? Won't we be left at the station?"

Harry Potter didn't say a word, but his worried expression was evident.

Light casually comforted them and then started waiting for someone to pick them up.

Just as the young wizards had been waiting for a while and slowly began to get restless.

A swaying light appeared in the darkness and was getting closer to the train station.

Both Light and Harry Potter heard the familiar loud voice. The giant carrying a lantern in the darkness shouted in a booming voice:

"First-year students! First-year students!"

All the new students, come over here. I'm here, Harry Potter. Come over here. Are you okay?"

Hearing the voice, Harry Potter, with Light and Ron, pushed through the crowd and got closer to Hagrid.

As soon as he reached Hagrid's side, Harry Potter immediately hugged this kind-hearted giant. Hagrid also patted Harry Potter on the back with his big hand. A smile spread across his chubby face, making his eyes squint.

Hagrid also noticed Light standing beside Harry Potter and greeted him. Light smiled back in response.
