Chapter 135: Vampires (12)
When the vampires came back, they no longer only brought a few of their members.
This time, it was the entire circle of pureblood elders that came to the factory.
Morgan's position among the vampires was definitely much higher than Malphis' that they were willing to create such a large commotion for him.
But that wasn't surprising since I could tell that the power that Morgan exuded was different.
This was the kind of power that a pureblooded vampire should have.
It wasn't like the diluted power that Malphis had.
Once they surrounded the factory, there were a few purebloods that suddenly came forward.
When they were in front of the factory, the first thing that they did was release their aura. It was as if they were trying to puff up their fur as much as they could to seem as threatening as possible.
That was the only thing that they could do since they had no information on what was happening inside of the factory.
At the same time, when they tried to find information, they found that all of their methods were useless.
They encountered the same situation that Morgan did when he tried to scout out the factory, which was that their powers were blocked.
It was all the power of the Sanguine Bracelet that stopped them from using those blood powers.
In front of the Sanguine Bracelet, there just wasn't anything that they could do.
After all, the Sanguine Bracelet was the artifact created by Demon King Balkor who had once ruled over the vampire tribe with an iron fist. The way that he ruled was using his bloodline that was the purest of them all.
So when it came to blood power, there really wasn't anything that was on the same level as the power contained within the Sanguine Bracelet.
After releasing their aura, the first thing that they said was, "Come out and talk. There's no need to hide like this since we're all from the same tribe."
I couldn't help shaking my head with a faint smile when I heard this.
Even now, it seemed like they were still under the impression that I was a pureblood vampire.
I guess it was time to give them a surprise.
Waving my hand, there were two large balls of blood that floated up with me. Then with these two large balls of blood behind me, I started floating towards the pureblooded vampires that were there.
The moment that they saw me, they couldn't help revealing a strange look.
After all, they could feel the power of the Sanguine Bracelet coming from me while they also couldn't see my face. It seemed that they thought that I was a pureblood vampire that was on a higher level than them.
Once I came out, I floated there for a bit before saying, "What are you planning on giving me for the two of them?"
I created a small hole in the ball of blood and released the aura of Morgan and Malphis who were trapped inside of them.
The moment that they sensed the aura coming from the balls of blood, it seemed like they were relieved. After all, there was a part of them that had been worried that I had done something to both Morgan and Malphis.
The one that stepped forward in the end was Damon.
"Let my son go already. He's your relative since we're all pureblooded vampires. Why would you do such a thing?"
"Who said that I'm a vampire?"
Everyone looked at me as if they didn't believe what I was saying.
That wasn't strange since in their eyes, I really did seem like a vampire.
But instead of drawing this out, I suddenly released a part of Morgan.
"It's true, he really isn't a vampire!" Right after he said this, I quickly sealed up the ball of blood again and waited for the reaction from these pureblooded vampires.
"What does he mean by that?" One of the pureblooded vampires slowly asked this when they came back to their senses.
They might not have believed it if it was someone else who said this, but there was no reason for them not to believe it if it was Morgan who was saying this.
With a faint smile, I said, "Are you trying to threaten me?"
Then I released balls of blood that surrounded all of these pureblooded vampires.
The moment that they saw these balls of blood, it seemed like they wanted to do something against them. But before they could, Damon suddenly said, "Don't attack!"
The other pureblooded vampires looked at Damon with confused looks, but he explained, "If you try to attack them, they'll just absorb your attacks. At the same time, it'll absorb your pure vampire blood essence as well."
As he said this, there was even a trace of fear that filled his voice.
The pureblooded vampires didn't seem to completely believe him, but they had no reason to think that he was lying to them. At the same time, there was no hiding the trace of fear that was in his voice as he said this.
So it was clear that there was some kind of truth to his words…
Only what did that mean?
"Just who are you? What are these things?"
That was the only thing that the pureblooded vampires could ask as they were surrounded by these balls of blood.
I didn't say anything as I waved my hand, sending the balls of blood at them.
In the end, some of them had no choice but to use their attacks since the balls of blood were just too fast for them to keep dodging.
But the moment that their attacks reached the balls of blood, that was when they were absorbed by the balls of blood. After that, the same thing happened where their attacks were absorbed by the balls of blood and they spat out blood as if they had been injured by something.
