The following morning, Eon and Rein retired back to their normal lives.

Thanks to the headmaster, they were a little better than the past few days.

Their family members noticed the change in them, some were even able to tell there was something different about them that they could not pinpoint. But, there was something about them.

They did not ask them what had happened to them overnight since they were aware of the headmaster's presence on the island right now.

They were going to go on their own little trip soon, so their family members knew this change was also something positive rather than something that might make them stop the two from going with them.

They were aware that they were going to do some kind of experiment but, since both of them had kept the details of it a secret, they did not go too deep into it.

They were worried about their health, but now that they seemed to have recovered, they weren't as worried as they were yesterday.

"Haaa…"

Still, a mother would never stop worrying about their child who was pushing themselves a little too much.

"What's wrong, mom?"

In the backyard of the castle, before the vast field reserved for the various stable creatures, the mother and daughter were watching their tiger companion playing with two big bull-like creatures.

"It's nothing… little one. I'm just… worried."

Nolen and Anna were watching Taika playing with the horses, showing the creatures to Miss Nerissa who had recently joined them.

"Hmm? Worried? Is… are you worried about big brother, mama?"

Anna had known what was going on in her house even though the adults were trying to hide it.

She knew her big brother and big sister had gone through something strange recently. They knew there was something more than she understood going on in their house.

She wanted to know more about all of it but she also knew the adults did not want her to get into this and be worried as well, so they hid it from her.

And, since even her big brother and sister Elle were hiding it from her, she understood it wasn't something she should bother them too much about.

She wanted to know more, but since she could feel the emotions of the others and knew it was better for her to not know, she considered staying unaware for this time.

However…

"Who else could I be worried about, little one.

Your brother… even your sister Elle this time… those two are not doing what they are supposed to do."

"Hmmm? What are they supposed to do?"

Anna got confused for a moment when Nolan said it like that.

"It's their vacation and instead of resting and playing around, here they are… going into dungeons, risking their lives… doing things that we don't do during our breaks…"

"Oh…"

Perhaps her mom just wanted to see her confused face, or perhaps it was unintentional, but the worry that she had about the two of them was real for certain.

She seemed tired even though Rein and Eon looked much better and well rested after so many days.

It was not a good sign. In fact, she seemed to be the one without proper sleep among the people present in the backyard right now.

"They're so bad, Anna… bad children…"

Not everyone from their family were present here, but aside from Anna, Nol, and Taika, her elder aunt, Uto and Alf, and a few of the adventurers that were staying with them were present in this place.

While Miss Nerissa was observing the creatures possessing the control over earth elemental spirits, the Wyvern and mage duo were practicing their familiar connection.

The other adventurers were looking at the other creatures around the place, and since there was a big stable just a small distance away from here, they were also going there to see the creatures present there.

The mage lady was having a tea party with her mouse and while the two were by themselves, soon, they were going to be accompanied by the rest of the ladies.

"They do what they want, and even when they don't want to, they are being hugged by dangerous, accidents, and… and… dangerous things.

It only happens with them… those two…"

She sighed deeply and buried her face in her little daughter's arms.

She did not like it, but there was nothing she could do to help the two of them. To make this worse, every time they went through something, it was only the two of them.

It's like the two of them attracted these troubles or as if the trouble waited for them to get to them.

It was strange, and perhaps it will continue happening in the future as well.

Perhaps, the trip that they are going on would also be just as complicated as this trip to the dungeon that they had.

"It's not like they are the only ones going through it, mom." Anna patted her mom's head as she looked at the other side, at the Alf and Uto who diligently trained to get better.

"They aren't the only ones who get in trouble… perhaps trouble finds them frequently, but, there are always other people who suffers with them.

At least, from what I've seen… it's not that they are always present when the trouble arrives, they are there when the trouble arrives so that they can help those who are going to get in trouble."

Anna looked around the place, at the adventurer fathers who were playing with their children, with couples who walked happily around their backyard.

There were people who were able to come back from that dungeon only because the two of them were there, and whatever they did there, they had saved their lives.

So, it certainly wasn't that the two of them were the reason behind the trouble. They were there so that the others could get out of it…

"They are like those heroes from the books that pop where the trouble is."

Anna did not know everything about what the two of them do, but throughout these past few days, the people that were staying with them had talked with her many times and thanked her just because of her brother and sister.

They were glad that the two of them were there or else, they said they would not have been able to see their family and friends.

"They are cool and amazing… so, please trust them a little, mama."

They got in trouble but they got back home, to them, as well.

They were not exactly the best when it came to staying unharmed, but they recovered quickly. And, Anna looked up to them even more because of that.

"Oho?"

Coming from her little girl, this was a new kind of mature talk.

"You think your brother and sister are heroes?"

Nol got up and placed her chin on her intertwined fingers, looking at Anna with a new smirk.

"Do you know what kind of people heroes actually are, little one?"

The heroes were individuals that saved people. That much was basic knowledge for the children.

In the stories, they are amazing people that have amazing powers, amazing friends, amazing companions, and those who go through many hardships to fight against evil and save the world before facing a happy ending.

At least, that is how it is in the children's story books.

"Heroes… aren't they amazing people that save the people and the world? Sister Zoe told me they are strong and smart as well."

"Of course they are strong and smart, hehe. But, unlike the heroes of the stories you might have read, the heroes of the real world are much different."

They don't always go through countless struggles. They don't always have a good ending. They don't always fight on the battlefield. They don't always have to endure countless hardships.

Some heroes around the world have never seen blood, some have never learned how to write. Some have gone through countless life and death situation, while some are countless times stronger than those who have held a weapon for almost their entire life.

"Oh, Anna!" Since they were going to have a little tea party soon anyway, Nolan now suddenly had an idea.

"Do you want to know more about the heroes~? You know what? Your grandpa and grandma are kind of heroes as well~."

The little girl was obviously aware of that, but until now, she had not thought much about it.

For her, all those who had the brave qualities, were strong and smart, and had a tendency to save people were all heroes.

She was a young child still, so she had never thought about how deep the heroism topic could go.

"Hmmm…? I… would like that, sure?"

When Nol suddenly asked her about the heroes, she was first confused, but then she thought about it once again, and understood this was not for her, but for herself.

"Alright then~."

The little morning tea would be a talk about their husbands and how they had been called heroes of their own fields.

The young one had not thought deeply about it, but those who one called a hero did not always have to be strong or smart or with a lot of experience.

Though there were people who specifically had the titles of heroes, there were also those who had been heroes in certain situations.

The topic was deep.

"We should go and get the others sooner then~."
