Isekai Journey Of The Magic Archer

Chapter 1109: 51 floors of the tower

[Zoe’s POV: ]

The tower has, excluding the grounded floor, the tower has fifty other floors.

Each floor is a unique place and big brother and I even consider them a different world altogether because of the kind of space that they have.

’Like the third, forth, and fifth floors that are respectively pool area, island area, and arial plains, the places that we have in the tower are simply too special to just be a ’floor’ or a ’room’ of it.’

I do not know how exactly mother must have made them yet. I did not get to stay here too long after being born so even though I know a lot, I have not seen much of it myself.

’The others think that I have been raised here and lived here my entire life, but that is not the case.’

Only big brother and Elle know about me and we better keep it that way since the moment they know about my Beast side, they will be in more trouble than they already are by being associated with us.

’After that attack from the unknown divinities, I’m even more certain that they will be in more trouble now than ever.’

And it’s not even big brother’s fault that this will happen this time. Things are simply like that because those nature damned beings want more than what they should ever possess!

"Hmph."

We were on the 11th floor right now, in the infirmary.

Anna was inside the healing pod, a high tech artifact that had unique healing properties that was based on the same principle as the healing spells of the priests.

While it was not exactly using holy power, it was healing all the damaged parts inside of her body, while at the same time, it was also solidifying the energy paths that were forced open during her awakening.

"She’s going to be alright… right?" Carla was not that worried when she first saw her, but ever since she came here, in the infirmary, and saw all these complicated things along with the shelf full of surgery equipment, she had been more concerned about her.

Seeing her inside the healing pod was not something she thought big brother would do when he told her she needed to heal, after all.

"Of course she’s going to be alright. She’s better already, actually." Big brother was focused on handling the artifact so I reassured her and tapped her shoulder.

"You should leave them for now. How about I show you something more fun?" The infirmary was on the 11th floor and the entire floor was filled with things that could be related to healing.

This inner room in particular was something only brother and mother used to use, but still, seeing all of these alien artefacts was a unique experience to the rest of them.

"Zoe, can you come here for a moment."

"Yes~."

Miss Cradle, Quin, and grandfather had been especially interested in all the things that were present across the vast room.

"Can you tell me how this is used exactly?" Cradle was looking at a complicated artifact that was used to perform a blood-energy transfusion.

It was not too complicated, but seeing the description was not enough for her.

’She wanted to try testing this artifact like many others that she had seen and gained an interest in, however she could not use them since she was not sure about it.’

She had been asking me about these things so I answered her to the best of my abilities. Though, I know I cannot fill her curiosity with just my words alone.

"You can just use it, you know? Get one of the artificial helpers and they will guide you."

"Ah… there’s no need for that."

The infirmary was divided into three areas: the center, the left side where all the modern tech and medicines were located, and the right side where all the older or more traditional medical things were located.

’While grandfather and Prez Zod had gone right and Quin and Sir Chry were more interested in the incubators on the left, I was here, waiting for Sister Carla and Cradle.’

There were many things here that they would have loved to take a look at… but while one did not want to leave Anna and big brother alone, the other did not want to use something she did not know much about and damage it.

’There were artificial helpers all across the tower’s fifty floors so she did not really have to worry about damaging something, but Del did not understand that.’

She simply held herself back and went from one tech to another, admiring each and every one of the complicated things that could do far more amazing things than she had ever thought were possible.

"Then, I’ll get going." Del moved onto the next thing that piqued her interest and sister Cradle and I were left alone once again.

"Right. Sister, come this way."

Anna would still need a few more minutes so we had time and since big brother will need to focus and manually guide the artifact, he is busy.

The others are gone doing their own things and Elder aunt is still downstairs in the magic element room where we will return to after finishing things here.

Miss Moon went upstairs for something big brother asked her to do, so she’s working even here. And since my sister and I were the only ones left here, there was something more interesting that she could do here.

The main central room was connected with the sections on both sides, but the one that we went in was neither of them.

Of the many rooms present in this floor, we entered a place that was used for storage of sharp objects… and by sharp objects, I meant blades that we use in various procedures.

"Wow…"

The entire place was full of blades of various kinds.

"Is this all used in medicine as well? Really?" Stay updated with NovelBin.Côm

"I can show you how we use a few if you want, hehe."

There were saws that were used to cut through bones and thick skins of various creatures, there were very thin blades with very sharp edges that were used in precision surgeries.

There were things that were meant to be used on higher order species like the divine beasts, and at the same time, there were things that were meant to be used on delicate parts of the body.

"I’d love that, you know? Hey. How about you tell me what that is while you’re at it as well."

Walls here covered in all kinds of blades that weren’t simply saws or scalpel. There were chainsaws, there were thin blades, there were curved blades, there were sword-like blades, and there were also axe-like blades.

There were all kinds of blades around here. But, as big brother had known, the one that piqued her interest the most was the one present in one of the few glass boxes, a blade made of green crystal that resembled a sword.

"Ah… that’s something you use when you want to cut through a world turtle."

One of the original myths of the world, one of the few old divine beast species that had been around since the primordial time.

That sword was a divine artifact, one that was on par with a dragon-slayer sword.

"Its green crystal-like surface is made from a meteorite that came from outer space. It’s practically one of a kind.

The wave-like patterns on it were formed due to its innate nature to negate hardness so the harder the thing, the easier it is to cut it with this.

I don’t know everything about it, but apparently, it’s an Ego artifact that my mother found somewhere."

She was not the one who made it, but she surely was the only one who could use it so the blade chose her as its master.

"Did… did you just say a world turtle? D-do you mean the divine beast, The world turtle?" Carld was shocked and did not understand it clearly.

But that was just what I knew about it. Neither big brother nor I had ever heard the story of her cutting a world turtle’s shell from her.

"Well, that might be an exaggeration since even we don’t know if anyone has ever used it. It’s a sword but since it looks more like a saw with its guardless handle and the curved blade structure, it might just be a saw in its original time."

"Is that so…?"

Right now, it was simply a useless weapon that no one could lift much less use in combat.

Its ability to cut through the harder things worked only against something that was hard enough to require her sharpness so this sword was pretty useless in direct combat as well.

’But if it was sister Carla, perhaps she could use it in a fight.’

She won’t get the sword even if she’s good for it in her current state, so she could only watch it from afar.

"It’s pretty…"

Still, it seemed like just watching this sword was more than enough to calm her down and make her a little less anxious.

"Well, then should we look around a few other places?"

"There’s something more?"

"Of course there is~."

This was just the infirmary. We had not even gone to the weapons rooms, the sparring arena, and we had not even shown them the treasury.

’If she was happy with just this, she would be pretty shocked when she sees the entire sword floor, floor 30.’

We have quite a lot of time together here so, I know she is going to have quite a lot of ’shuck’ moments.

And, she will not be the only one having these experiences.

’Including the elders, the rest of them will be gasping in awe as well.’
