Lust System: Sword Genius in Women's World

Chapter 165 Rematch

The god of death's grin widened. "Oh… I like that. A forced pact" He leaned forward, resting his chin on his hand. "But what if you lose?"

"Then I'll remain here" Xavier replied.

"Ohh, interesting proposition, even after winning you're willing to do this, are you that confident of your fighting abilities...well then I accept" He spoke with a smirk at the corner of his mouth.

The god of death had nothing to lose, both of them were still in his domain and Xavier just offered his freedom, he couldn't refuse and the dragon woman had no choice.

The dragon woman growled, her teeth bared as her nails dug into her palms. "You're insane if you think I'll ever serve you, human. I'd rather die!"

"Then fight me or are you afraid I might win, aren't dragons superior to human" Xavier said simply, his voice loud enough for her to hear

For a moment, the air grew heavy as she stared at Xavier, she had two choices in front of her, face him and win...or don't.

She had no idea where Xavier was getting his confidence from giving the fact that she was clearly stronger than him, but of course she had no idea he had the system.

"I'll fight" She spoke.

The god of death chuckled low, snapping his fingers.

The floor beneath them shifted, the stone glowing faintly.

"Then it's decided. A rematch, bound by my word. If you lose, Xavier, she is free and you lose your soul. If you win…" His eyes glimmered darkly.

"She is yours to command."

The dragon woman stepped forward, her eyes locked on Xavier with pure hatred.

"This time," she growled, "I'll end you for good."

The god of death raised his hand, his voice echoing through the empty room.

"This will be a fight to the death. Do not worry...I will bring back the loser. But fight with everything you have, and you don't have to mind me, you're free to destroy everything in your path"

Xavier cracked his neck as he turned towards her, he was currently at his best, the god of death had healed and brought him back to 100% of his strength.

He wasn't tired, or stressed...also he partially wanted to see if he would be able to take down the dragon, and he knew he would be, if he could survive the Cerberus's frenzy then he can survive hers.

His hand tightened around his sword.

'So you gambled everything just so you can control a dragon, and what happens if you lose, I remain here?' Kaan spoke in Xavier's ears.

'I'm not going to lose'

The dragon woman, across from him, glared with pure hatred but Xavier remained expressionless as he stared at her, the fight playing in his head and in all the scenarios, he won.

The god of death lowered his hand. "Begin."

At once, the dragon woman opened her mouth. Fire spilled out, not towards Xavier but onto her own hands.

The flames wrapped around her arms, burning her skin and the cloak around her body, bright like molten metal, then it happened.

Her body began to change, scales shimmered across her skin, her nails lengthened into sharp claws, and her eyes glowed.

Xavier had seen all this and this time he wasn't surprised, he was actually waiting for her transformation...it was better to face this size of her.

Xavier didn't flinch. His sword pointed forward, his stance steady.

The dragon roared, her voice shaking the throne room, and then she dashed forward. Her claws came swinging down at him like blades.

Xavier moved fast, since he could dodge he didn't need to use his dark barrier, he simple activated his [Wind Stride] and in a blur he was gone from her line of attack, moving towards her side.

Then he aimed for her body as time seemed to slow down [Triple Strike]. The sound of metal cutting through scales rang out, sparks flying, the first slash didn't cut through, but the other two did.

She hissed in pain, spinning around, her tail lashing out.

Xavier raised his hand and the dark mist created a shield in front of him. The tail slammed into it and was stopped.

"Pathetic," Xavier shouted as he moved away, his sword glowing faintly as it had tasted blood.

The dragon roared again, and this time, fire burst from her mouth like a cannon.

Xavier used his [Wind Stride] and at the same time used his [Frost Reflection], he created a copy of himself below while his body stepped on the air drawing the fire of the dragon as he ran away.

The dragon continued breathing flames and following Xavier's real body till something hit the dragon's throat.

The clone used [Radiant Lance] and even though it wasn't as strong as the Xavier's, it was enough to shut the dragon's mouth close and stopped the flame.

The dragon reeled back and used it's claws to swipe the clone killing it immediately.

"Is that all? You're supposed to be a dragon," Xavier spoke with a smile on his face as he walked towards her.

Her eyes burned with fury, and she spread her wings wide, fire swirling aound her and even Xavier was a little surprised, it seems she was about to go into her own frenzied state.

But Xavier immediately charged towards her, and on his way he stretched a staff as light shot towards her.

[Inventory]

[Radiant Lance]

The beam of light shot forward, piercing through the flames and slamming into her shoulder.

She screamed, her body thrown back as blood splattered across the floor, it was this powerful because of Sylve's staff.

"Human!" she spat, her voice echoing. "You dare..."
