Chapter 561: Childhood Story
In the middle of the boss room, the gigantic parrot was bleeding all over the floor with its beautiful rainbow feathers turned a sickly shade of gray.
With a red-handled knife, Kiernan carved the red gem out of the skull of the gigantic parrot and held it in his hand.
"A nice-looking gem. It will definitely sell for a sum."
Kiernan thought, then sat down on the massive head of the dead parrot and pulled out a notebook from his pocket.
He looked over to the text carved into the wall, pulled out a pen from his pocket, and first wrote the German-worded version of the text on one of the pages of the notebook.
He then started translating it:
"This is my beautiful pet parrot! His name is Charlie, and he loves to eat crackers. I fed him some blood crackers yesterday, and I noticed a change in him… I am pretty sure he is growing, but I could be mistaken.
"Enjoy the presence of my beautiful parrot - MR!"
Kiernan wryly smiled, looked below at the dead gigantic parrot, and lampooned.
"He definitely did grow… I would be feeling bad for killing her pet if it wouldn't respawn in the next couple of days."
He said aloud and wondered what her reason was to write such useless things on the wall in a language that no one would know.
'Unless she planned to only have reincarnators to read it? Hmm, I don't know; my reincarnation was a unique case.
'I don't even know if reincarnators are supposed to regain memories.
'Only good souls can reincarnate, and if Mercedes is a reincarnator, how did she become such an evil person?
'I can only get the answer to those questions from Mercedes herself.'
At that moment, Kiernan hopped off the gigantic parrot and checked his system interface.

'Hmm, I definitely gained some experience points, but it still feels like a long way to go before I can level up again.'
Kiernan clicked his tongue, but he didn't mind, since if he kept the pace of 1,000 experience points in a day, he was going to level up in a couple of months.
However.
He wasn't going to be settled with 1,000 experience points in a day. Not even close. He was attempting 10,000 experience points in a day!
With compass in hand, Kiernan left the Green Dungeon, with number 33 etched on the green door, and made his way to the closest door.
He arrived at 32nd Green Dungeon, showed his card to the guard, and was granted access, but this time around, he wasn't alone in this dungeon.
There were people of all shapes and sizes, trotting about, as the Green Dungeons usually had the biggest traffic.
'33rd Green Dungeon was empty, but there are so many people here… I wonder why.'
He saw a person alone—he walked over to him—and saw that he was busy checking the dungeon walls with a magnifying glass.
"Hey, what are you doing?"
Kiernan asked.
With a flinch, the young man turned around, looked at the stranger with a suspicious gaze, and then, without saying a word, started walking away.
Kiernan grabbed his shoulder and forced him to a stop.
"That's rude, you know. I asked you a question. Why don't you tell me why everyone is here?"
"Hey, hands off me, or I'll tell a guard!"
He shouted and tried to rip off Kiernan's grip, but the hold was too strong, like iron.
Kiernan squeezed his middle finger and thumb into the shoulder of the young man. Squeezed the pressure point. He screamed in pain.
The people close to them looked around and scurried away, as they didn't want anything to do with that.
"There's apparently a Golden Dungeon Dweller over here! It's a rare type of Dungeon Dweller with a golden gem, and it's priceless!
"We've been searching for it the entire day but haven't found a sight of it. It's extremely good at hiding, but we've been thinking that it was a hoax!"
Kiernan let go of him, thanked him with a pat on his shoulder, and then headed away with hands inside his pockets.
'Golden Dungeon Dweller? It's a lie. I think it can be real, but such a thing is not in this dungeon. If there was, the person who had discovered it would keep it hidden.
'However, there are hundreds of people here, so someone must've spread it outside the dungeon.
'I should go to another dungeon. I think all the Dungeon Dwellers, and even the boss was killed here, but I should go check out the text on the boss room as well.'
…
"I have a story about my childhood.
"I was playing on a swing; it suddenly broke, and I fell down. The children in the park laughed at me, and I started crying.
"I hated them for it for a long time, and then I found out that a kid named Hugo is the reason that the swing broke down because he had been swinging too wildly on it.
"Yet, I got blamed by the school and the parents of the other children for breaking the swing. It was very unfair!
"I then fed some ants to Hugo, and he pissed his pants. It was hilarious, but I became an outcast because of it.
"I now understand how insignificant those memories are. I am being of great power now, and people like Hugo are like ants now to me.
"Everyone in my childhood home is ants to me. My parents. The parents of those children. The teachers. And my childhood classmates.
"Ants - MR."
Kiernan finished translating the text.
Since there was so much text, he also thought before translating that it might finally be something of importance.
'It's… kind of important. I can see that while creating this dungeon, this MR person already has a kind of god complex. Maybe what she became is because of her childhood.
'However, I don't know if this story of her childhood is from Earth or this world.'
