Marvel: AS A PRINCE IN ASGARD

Chapter 86: CHAPTER 86

"Definitely."

Ragna 's smile faded as he locked eyes with Tony Stark. His expression grew serious—he had always respected people with true talent.

"So, can you make the world peaceful and stop these never-ending invasions—demons, aliens, and cosmic tyrants all targeting Earth?"

Tony Stark smirked, though the weight of the situation dulled his usual wit. "That's what I'm trying to do. I am—Iron Man."

"As you wish."

Ragna nodded, his lips curling into a faint smile. He extended his hand.

"Then, welcome to the Holy Heavenly Palace."

Tony Stark hesitated briefly before shaking Ragna 's hand—a silent deal forged between two of Earth's strongest minds.

"What's next?" Stark asked, his voice dropping to a whisper.

The Skrulls had infiltrated the highest levels of the U.S. government, assuming the identities of its most powerful figures. They controlled intelligence networks, the media, and key defense sectors. With access to Kree technology, they had engineered new biological weapons, some derived from Abomination's gamma-enhanced physiology and others from Norman Osborn's Green Goblin serum. A single coordinated attack could cripple the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. in one night.

Even the Helicarrier—one of Earth's most advanced war machines—had Skrull modifications built into its systems, taken directly from captured Kree Empire warships. The Skrulls already controlled more than just one Helicarrier—their fleet was growing.

If not for HYDRA's nuclear deterrents forcing a stalemate, the Skrulls might have seized control completely.

Stark understood what was at stake. The Avengers weren't ready for a war against an enemy that had already infiltrated them. Against cosmic threats like Mephisto, Thanos' Black Order, and the Skrull Empire, their forces were laughably small.

Only Ragna 's power could protect the Earth.

"Oh, do you think I'll waste time hunting down Skrull imposters, exposing them one by one for public trials?" Ragna smirked. "No, the trial has already begun."

With a snap of his fingers, beams of energy rained from the sky.

News feeds went wild. The high-ranking U.S. officials who had just been pressuring Iron Man collapsed on live television, their skulls burned through with celestial fire. The fortified buildings they sat in—previously impenetrable—were now pierced by pure light, revealing Skrull corpses underneath their disguises.

However, some of the dead remained human.

Brainwashed, coerced, or willing collaborators—it made no difference.

In Ragna 's eyes, anyone who openly defended the Skrulls was guilty of crimes against Earth. Their execution was justified.

"The Earth is mine to protect now."

The Avengers stood in stunned silence.

"But… there were real humans among them," Steve Rogers murmured, watching the live reports.

"Humans who sided with the Skrulls."

"Nick Fury made the same mistake. Betraying the planet is an unforgivable crime." Ragna 's voice was cold.

Natasha Romanoff crossed her arms. "That's fine for the exposed ones, but what about the Skrulls still in hiding? And their biological weapons?"

"The unseen Skrulls are the real threat," she continued. "And we have no idea what secret weapons they've developed."

Ragna chuckled. "And who do you think I am?"

At his command, an Angel warrior descended from the sky, their divine aura radiating power. The Angel reported the latest findings:

All known Skrull bases had been destroyed.

Ragna had stationed an entire battalion of Angels on Earth, led by three High-Ranking Angels. Their Flaming Swords, capable of slicing through Asgardian Uru metal, had made short work of the Skrull strongholds.

Yet, something was wrong.

Only one Abomination clone, a handful of mutated experiments, and a small number of Skrulls had been found. Most had already self-destructed before capture.

But the Skrulls weren't the only discovery.

Many humans with strange abilities had been recovered—powerful, but not Mutants. Their origins were unknown.

And then there was the crystal.

A massive, pulsing gemstone radiating an unknown energy. Any intelligent life that approached it experienced heightened psychic abilities, sometimes triggering latent powers.

The Angels had sealed it away, awaiting Ragna 's judgment.

Ragna 's brow furrowed.

The disappearance of the Skrulls was an even greater danger.

If they waited for Ragna to leave Earth, they could unleash a Resident Evil-scale catastrophe—a viral outbreak, a mutagenic plague, or worse.

Without hesitation, Ragna scanned the entire planet at superluminal speed, focusing on heat signatures and unique bio-signs. Skrull genetic modifications allowed them to mimic human DNA, making them nearly undetectable. But they had one weakness—their internal energy patterns. Unlike humans, Skrulls radiated a distinct thermal signature from within.

Ragna found them.

Scattered remnants, hidden in bunkers, military bases, and even among SHIELD's lower ranks.

He appeared before them in a blink.

Realizing they had been discovered, the Skrulls triggered their self-destruct implants without hesitation.

Ragna raised a hand.

Time froze.

With a single gesture, he overpowered their nervous systems, halting their suicides instantly.

Compared to humans, Skrulls were stronger, faster, and more durable.

Compared to Ragna , they were nothing.

He didn't need interrogation techniques. He simply peered into their minds, searching for the truth.

And then—

Their heads exploded.

An outside force had intervened.

Something else was inside their minds, shielding them from interrogation. A psychic booby trap—strong enough to challenge even him.

Ragna 's expression darkened. This wasn't just Skrull technology.

Without a word, he teleported to the sealed crystal, standing before it as it pulsated with an ominous glow.

He extended his senses, allowing its energy to brush against his mind.

A sudden surge of power overwhelmed him.

For a brief moment, he glimpsed fractured timelines, war-torn galaxies, and cosmic empires clashing in an ancient battle.

His eyes narrowed.

He looked toward the sky, deep in thought, and muttered—

"…Interesting."
