Chapter 216: Chapter 216: Galacta
Galacta's father, the Devourer of Worlds, was just like her—both required the consumption of planets to survive. However, his appetite was far greater than hers.
Han Yu regularly provided Galacta with energy pellets, which completely satisfied her hunger. She also noticed that whenever he condensed these pellets, he did so effortlessly, without the slightest sign of strain.
Sometimes, when Han Yu was in a good mood, he would give her more than usual—what was originally just a few pellets per month could suddenly turn into a dozen or more, and he would act as if it were nothing.
From that moment on, Galacta dared not underestimate him. This man seemed to be at least as powerful as she was. She had once asked him just how strong he truly was.
But Han Yu had only shaken his head and smiled mysteriously, refusing to answer. Since he wouldn't say, Galacta eventually gave up asking.
In the past, Han Yu might have been weaker than Galacta in terms of energy output, but that was no longer the case. Though both of them were at a universal singularity level, Han Yu had surpassed her.
After all, he possessed countless powerful artifacts from different dimensions, making it impossible for anyone to defeat him outright.
Moreover, with his highest-level store owner privileges, he could access any weapon or equipment from across the multiverse at will. Even if an immensely powerful being appeared, Han Yu could simply hide inside his store, occasionally popping out to strike a surprise blow, making it impossible for opponents to defend against him.
Galacta frowned and said, "So I have to keep this tapeworm with me forever? I don't want to spend my life hunting for food just to feed it."
Right now, she no longer needed to wander the cosmos in search of suitable food—something that had been a constant struggle before. Even when she did find food, there was no guarantee that it contained enough energy.
But here, in this little store, she had no such worries. All she had to do was step in when Han Yu needed her to fight.
Most of the time, she could just relax, play video games, go shopping, and make friends on Earth. Galacta was more than satisfied with her current lifestyle.
Han Yu chuckled, "Don't worry, just stay here. As long as nothing unexpected happens to me, you'll never have to worry about food for the rest of your life."
Although he was now at the universal singularity level himself—and he was certain he was stronger than Galacta—he had no problem supporting her.
After all, the revenue from GTA only continued to grow. Even if it declined, it would still be leagues ahead of any other gaming company.
Galacta was quite considerate—despite Han Yu giving her a few tens of thousands of dollars per month as spending money, she never squandered it recklessly.
When it came to the energy she needed, she wasn't picky. As long as it was non-toxic and harmless, she would eat it without hesitation.
To Han Yu, providing her energy was practically effortless. Galacta thought she was getting an amazing deal, but in reality, Han Yu wasn't losing anything at all—it was like getting a universal singularity-level enforcer for free.
Hearing Han Yu's words, Galacta nodded seriously, completely unaware that she had essentially handed herself over to him.
With that problem solved, she no longer had to worry about ever experiencing the unbearable hunger from before.
Just as she was about to pull Wanda and Han Yu into a gaming session, she noticed their expressions suddenly turn sharp.
"Who's here?" Han Yu asked.
"Not sure, but whoever they are, they're bold. Coming in so openly—they must not think much of me," Wanda narrowed her eyes, a dangerous glint flashing within them.
Even though she had yet to officially inherit the title of "Sorcerer Supreme," it was already set in stone. The fact that someone dared to invade while she was still on Earth showed an incredible amount of audacity.
"Who's here? What are you two talking about?"
Galacta was confused, not understanding what was going on.
Wanda and Han Yu glanced at her, then exchanged a look between themselves before both sighing with a helpless smile. They each gave her a reassuring pat on the shoulder.
Wanda's expression softened with a sisterly warmth. "This girl might be ancient in biological age, but mentally, she's still just a kid. She's like a little sister that needs to be spoiled."
It wasn't that Galacta couldn't sense hostility—it was just that, to her, these threats weren't even worth acknowledging. Nothing posed a real danger to her.
Meanwhile, Han Yu remained ever-vigilant against any external threats. Galacta and Wanda might not fully grasp just how vast the universe truly was, but Han Yu did.
This universe, now transformed from mere comic pages into reality, was far more chaotic than they imagined. Here, gods and cosmic entities roamed freely.
A single mistake—one moment of carelessness—and death would be absolute.
That's why, as long as Han Yu remained in the Marvel Universe, he never let his guard down. After all, if he died here, he wasn't even sure if he could come back.
