Chapter 30: Iron Kage: Ron's Ascension
-----
-----
"Onoki... you win."
Boom!
The Third Raikage struck down another Iwa ninja before finally collapsing to the ground.
His lifelong rival—gone.
For a moment, Onoki felt adrift.
Should he be relieved? Or mournful?
But in the next instant, all that remained was fury.
A golden-red figure descended from the sky like a meteor, landing with a heavy thud beside the
Third Raikage's body.
It was then that Onoki saw clearly—
Wasn't this the Iron Man figure rumored to be wreaking havoc across the Konoha and Kirigakure
battlefields?
Before he could even react, beams of energy shot out from the armored figure, instantly wiping out
dozens of Iwa ninjas rushing forward.
Then, as if by magic, the bodies of those Iwa ninjas—along with the Third Raikage's corpse—
vanished into thin air.
Without hesitation, the golden-red Iron Man shot back into the sky, disappearing beyond
the horizon.
After securing the Third Raikage's body, Ron wasted no time slipping into his personal dimension.
The mist was thicker than ever—proof that even in death, the Third Raikage's body held an
immense reservoir of energy, far surpassing that of dozens of Iwa ninjas combined.
[Power Level +150!]
The dense mist surged toward him.
Though the energy was vast, Ron's physical body was far stronger than before, allowing him to
absorb it at an incredible rate.
As the last of it settled within him, a rush of overwhelming power coursed through his veins,
bringing a wide grin to his face.
As expected of the Third Raikage—a man whose body had reached the pinnacle of physical
prowess!
The power boost was massive—his combat strength had skyrocketed to 430.
His sheer physical power alone now rivaled that of an elite Jonin.
And with the energy coursing through his body?
He was now a true Kage-level powerhouse.
Not only that, but he had also inherited all of the Third Raikage's techniques—including the
Lightning Release Chakra Mode and the ultimate Lightning Armor.
Once he fully mastered Lightning Release and refined his body with it, his strength would soar even
further.
Even without relying on his spatial abilities, reaching the level of a veteran Kage was only a matter
of time.
And with Wood Release and the legendary Senju monstrous strength?
He could rival the Super Kage level!
"Finally... I've caught up with the top tier of the Avengers."
A heavy weight lifted from Ron's heart.
Tanzaku Town.
Tsunade's gaze kept drifting toward the casino, an itch in her heart urging her to step inside and
test her luck.
But every time she saw Ron's figure walking ahead of her, that burning urge was doused like a
bucket of cold water.
Sighing in frustration, she lowered her head and followed behind him.
Beside her, Shizune covered her mouth, stifling a laugh at the bizarre scene.
Even she wasn't sure whether this change in Tsunade was good or bad.
The three of them returned to a familiar part of town.
Their relationship had grown closer. (Maybe?)
At least with Ron around, she didn't have to worry about Tsunade gambling away all her money and
ending up sleeping on the streets.
Thinking about it that way, maybe this was a good thing.
Each of them had their own thoughts as they reached their hotel.
Ron entered first, while Tsunade hesitated at the entrance.
Up until now, they had always camped out in the wild, so staying together hadn't felt strange.
But now…
How many rooms would Ron book?
After a brief moment of inner turmoil, she stepped inside.
And then she heard—
"Three rooms, please."
"..."
Tsunade let out a sigh of relief—but at the same time, a strange sense of disappointment crept into
her heart.
She had already called him "Master"...
Not that Ron had any clue what was going through her mind.
After settling in, he took a quick shower before diving into training, familiarizing himself with his
latest gains.
Meanwhile, in another room, Tsunade soaked in a wooden bath, flower petals floating on the
surface of the warm water.
She scooped up some water and let it trickle down her shoulders, watching the droplets slide over
her skin.
Then, out of nowhere, she smacked the water with a loud splash!
to be going well.
Inside the room, Tsunade let out a relieved sigh as she listened to Shizune's footsteps fading into
the distance.
She glanced down at her chest, which was pushing up against the water, displacing it to one side.
Instinctively, she pla"Damn it... Stupid Ron... Stupid Master!"
"I—"
"Tsunade-sama, is everything okay?" came Shizune's concerned voice from outside the door.
"I-It's nothing! You should get some rest, Shizune!"
"Oh… okay!"
Outside, Shizune chuckled softly to herself.
She had made it a habit to check on Tsunade before heading to bed.
Tonight was no different.
But the moment she reached the door, she had heard Tsunade muttering to herself—grumbling, yet
strangely cautious about it.
Honestly, she found it pretty amusing.
Everything seemeced a hand on it, giving it a small squeeze.
Then she gritted her teeth.
"Hmph! Let's see how long you can keep pretending not to care!"
"No, wait! This is for Konoha's sake!"
"I have to make sure he doesn't misunderstand anymore. I have to stop him from turning
against Konoha!"
With that, she stood up, stepping out of the tub.
The soft rustling of a towel filled the air as she dried herself off.
Then—creak!
The door slowly opened.
Tsunade stepped out.
...
