Marvel: DNF Invades

Chapter 92: Chapter 92

Project Red Cube

The Project Red Cube was focused on studying the large red crystals that had been accidentally created by the Soul Eater's Hand.

After releasing excess energy that day, the crystal had stabilized, yet its formation still felt incredible to Luke.

He had tasked Christina with conducting an in-depth analysis—investigating its origins, properties, and possible applications.

In DNF, crystals were categorized into six colors—red, blue, white, black, colorless, and gold.

Red crystals carried the fire attribute, capable of imbuing objects with flame energy. They served as essential materials for both spellcasting and manufacturing, offering a wide range of applications.

However, Luke wasn't sure if the large red crystal he had obtained was identical to DNF's red crystal or if it possessed unique qualities.

This unexpected discovery seemed to open up an entirely new route—one that linked the DNF and Marvel universes in ways he hadn't considered before.

Luke owed his thanks to Tony Stark—the man who had developed the Beta Element, which enabled the magic energy of DNF to take form as science in the Marvel universe.

This discovery felt like a key that had unlocked a door—where it led, no one could tell.

One thing, however, was certain—the existence of the large red crystal proved that DNF and Marvel overlapped not just on a macro scale, but even at the atomic level.

This was no longer just about Luke using a few skills—something much deeper was at play.

He had a gut feeling that if Christina continued her research, they might uncover something truly astonishing.

Estimated Completion Time for Project Red Cube: Indefinite.

Christina's Research & The 2B Plan

Christina had been especially proactive lately.

She frequently accessed Stark Tower's main server and had even infiltrated research facilities like Austen Group, AIM, and a Korean laboratory—stealing multiple sets of cutting-edge genetic technologies.

Luke recalled that in the MCU, the creator of Vision's synthetic body, Dr. Helen Cho, was Korean.

So, he had instructed Christina to narrow the search parameters—and the results had been massive.

With these genetic advancements, Christina estimated that she could successfully develop biological protein synthesis, human cell regeneration, and mature cloning technology—all within four months.

This was all in preparation for her own body.

There was no better alternative. The semi-biochemical, semi-mechanical route was the best possible solution.

Stage One: The T-800 Prototype

Luke's first step was to build a Terminator-like unit—something similar to the T-800, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

This model would feature a robotic alloy skeleton covered by a bionic outer layer.

Stage Two: The Artificial Human Project (Plan 2B)

The second phase would involve developing artificial humans.

This wouldn't be like the cloned beings in Dragon Ball or Type-Moon, but rather something akin to the YoRHa androids from NieR: Automata.

Thus, Luke officially named this initiative: Plan 2B.

Of course, he also liked the name A2.

Countdown to Project Launches

Luke glanced at the computer screen, which displayed the countdown timers for the six active projects:

Pacific Rim Phase II – 5 months

Curry Stick Plan – 13 days

The Master Plan – Indefinite

Project Red Cube – Indefinite

Project Bug – 20 days

2B Plan Phase 1 – 40 days

2B Plan Phase 2 – 3 to 10 years

Luke nodded in satisfaction.

"This is the power of artificial intelligence—unlimited possibilities."

He was merely the architect—the one who conceived the ideas and issued the orders.

Christina was the one executing everything.

All he had to do was sit back and wait for results.

---

Skye's Shock

Skye was stunned.

While the outside world was still caught in endless debates about whether strong AI should even exist, this kid, in a shabby warehouse, had already mastered and applied it beyond imagination.

Every day, her decision to join Luke's organization felt more rewarding.

She had only been here for two days, yet she had already witnessed so many insane, futuristic advancements.

She was now certain—Luke's warehouse was at least twenty years ahead of the outside world.

"Luke, can my personal issue be considered a project?" Skye suddenly asked.

"I mean... investigating my background."

---

Luke's Response

"Girl! You're too impatient!" Luke spun around dramatically.

His serious expression made Skye feel nervous.

"Before you've proven your value as a member of this organization, you don't get to make requests."

"Yes, I promised to help you find your parents, but only after you've contributed something in return."

---

Skye's Uncertainty

"Contribution? I… I don't even know what I can do," Skye admitted.

She was a hacker, but compared to Christina, her skills were nothing.

"Don't stress! The Arad New York Office—cough, temporary name—will help you find your purpose."

"But first, you need the right mindset. You need to truly consider yourself part of this organization."

"You should feel excited, girl! The Arad New York Office has officially accepted you."

Luke stood up on a stool, then climbed onto a higher scaffolding platform.

Raising his hand in declaration, he announced:

"Christina! From today onward, you are Labmem No. 002! This is your reward for being the first to follow me!"

"Thank you, Master!" Christina smiled.

Then Luke turned to Skye.

"You, Skye! From now on, you are Labmem No. 004! You're officially one of us!"

---

Skye's Confusion

Labmem No. 004?

What kind of weird title was this?

Skye looked up at Luke, confused.

"Wait… why are there only 1, 2, and 4? Who's No. 3?"

Luke suddenly raised a phone to his ear, muttering under his breath.

---

Skye's Suspicion

"What the hell are you mumbling about?" Skye narrowed her eyes.

Luke covered the mic with his hand, signaling her to stay quiet.

"…Who are you talking to?"

"Luke's having another episode," Ross muttered, not even looking away from the TV.

Still, Luke continued speaking into his silent phone.

"…No, just a small issue. Everything is still proceeding as planned."

There was no response.

The phone was turned off.

"…You're right. It's too risky to talk here. The organization's enemies are extremely cunning. Their spies could be anywhere."

Skye suddenly tensed up.

S.H.I.E.L.D.?

---

Steins;Gate Reference

Luke lowered his voice.

"…Really? Is this the choice of Steins;Gate?"

He paused for a moment.

Then, in a low, serious tone, he whispered:

"El Psy Kongroo."

He put the phone away, maintaining a mysterious expression.

Then, he waved his hand, pointing to the ground.

"Labmem No. 004! Come carry me down."

---

Skye's Last Thought

Skye sighed but still lifted Luke down from the scaffolding.

Her mind was still spinning.

What the hell is going on here?
