MHA : QUIRK EVOLUTION

Chapter 103: Chapter 103: Unlocking the Ultimate Martial Arts

Night Eye pondered for a moment, then said, "You're right. There's nothing here suitable for pushing your limits. How about this—I'll spar with you for a bit?"

Togata Mirio considered it and found the idea reasonable. "Hmm… that might not be a bad idea."

Ezaki Kitazawa was a bit hesitant. "Is that really okay?"

Night Eye reassured him, "No problem. But let me be clear—I'm only testing your basic physical abilities, not your Quirk."

Testing his Quirk would likely destroy the entire training facility. After all, Ezaki Kitazawa's Quirk specialized in large-scale attacks.

Since Night Eye had made the offer, Ezaki Kitazawa became interested. Night Eye was considered one of the stronger professional heroes, so this was a good chance to observe him up close.

"Well then, Mr. Night Eye, I'll be in your care."

Togata Mirio stepped aside, clearing space for Ezaki Kitazawa.

"Alright, I'm coming, Night Eye," he said.

Ezaki Kitazawa responded calmly, "Yeah, go all out. Don't waste time."

Night Eye gave a brief nod. As soon as he finished speaking, Ezaki Kitazawa turned into a dark blur and appeared in front of Night Eye in an instant.

Night Eye's eyes widened in surprise, and beads of sweat formed on his forehead. He swiftly dodged just as Ezaki Kitazawa threw a punch.

"Boom!"

The force of the punch created a strong gust of wind. Although Night Eye avoided the direct hit, the shockwave still pushed him back several steps.

Without any change in expression, he said, "Alright, I have a rough idea now."

Ezaki Kitazawa was slightly taken aback. "As expected of Night Eye... You figured it out after just one move."

"You'll understand too, once you've been through enough battles," Night Eye replied calmly.

"Got it," Ezaki Kitazawa nodded.

"Wait here for now. We need a bigger training ground today. I'll go check which one is available."

With that, Night Eye turned and left.

"I'll see if I can help with anything," Togata Mirio said before quickly following him.

Ezaki Kitazawa didn't follow. During the fight, he had noticed something interesting. While using his ultimate martial arts technique, he realized that he could absorb natural energy and convert it into his own power. If he hadn't hesitated for a split second during that punch, he might have landed a hit on Night Eye.

Taking advantage of this break, Ezaki Kitazawa immediately started experimenting with his discovery.

"Ezaki Kitazawa's Quirk is strong, but his physical strength is just as impressive. He's almost like someone with a power-based Quirk," Togata Mirio remarked as he walked alongside Night Eye.

"Yeah, I didn't expect this either," Night Eye replied. "He used to rely a lot on his Quirk, so I thought he might be too dependent on it. But I was wrong. His raw strength has already surpassed mine by a huge margin."

"No way, Night Eye! You dodged his full-power attack so easily. Even if he's strong, he's probably only a little stronger than you, right?" Togata Mirio muttered.

Night Eye glanced at him and said, "I used my Quirk just now. I saw his movements ahead of time. I could dodge his first attack, but I wouldn't have been able to avoid the second one. That's why I called it off."

Togata Mirio froze. "Wait… you mean…"

"Yes," Night Eye confirmed. "According to my vision, the final outcome was me lying on the ground with several broken bones. Even though I knew what was coming… I still couldn't dodge. He's too fast."

"That's insane… I've never heard of a U.A. student this strong before," Togata Mirio said in a serious tone.

Night Eye simply smiled and said nothing. The truth was becoming clear—Ezaki Kitazawa's potential might even surpass All Might, the wielder of One For All.

Meanwhile, back at the training ground, Ezaki Kitazawa was ecstatic. Today, he finally understood the difference between Martial Arts Mastery and Ultimate Martial Arts Mastery.

Martial Arts Mastery strengthened his physical abilities, but Ultimate Martial Arts Mastery took it a step further. It allowed him to sense and gather natural energy, converting it into his own power.

In other words, by drawing energy from nature, he could unleash even stronger attacks.

"I need to try that move I could never pull off before… next time I get the chance," he muttered to himself.
