The elders from the families were the most impacted by that claim. They felt strongly about the technique. because if it exists, it represents the chance for a family to ascend and replace the Black Bones sect.

However, while everyone was moved and was seriously considering how to make a move on the people from the Blood Skull sect, one of the people listening had become angry and decided to take action even if the technique didn't exist.

The person who became angry was an elder from the Sword Way sect. He was the same elder who had an argument with an elder from the Blood Skull sect 20 years ago during the meeting after the inter-sect competition.

This person was the one who called the people from the Blood Skull sect parasites. He has never liked the Blood Skull sect.

He was angry last time because something valuable that he found first was taken from him unjustly by an elder from the Blood Skull. But now, he is angry that these people from the Blood Skull sect are itching for a fight and provoking them to fight instead of being afraid.

It is clear that the people from the Blood Skull sect are not afraid of them. It is also clear that the people from the Blood Skull look down on the people from the other sect.

He can sense this disdain for his person, and he doesn't like it. He didn't like it at all.

He thought it was unfair that something that was rightfully his was taken away by people from the Blood Skull sect, but it is unlikely that something that rightfully belongs to the Blood Skull sect will be taken from them. His anger is not about the technique and the inheritance anymore. His anger is about revenge and injustice. So he took out his two large great swords in preparation for battle.

The two swords he took out were half his height. That meant that they were at least two meters long. They were large and heavy, but he held them as if he were holding sticks.

His action drew attention from everyone, including the two elders from his sect who were standing beside him. Before they could ask any question, he said to them, "Prepare for battle. We are taking them down."

His face was solemn, and his voice was calm. His eyes were also glinting sharply and focused intensely on the people from the Blood Skull sect. So it was clear that he wasn't joking around.

The other elders saw all of this and nodded in agreement. They decided to go along with him so they too took out their swords.

One of them removed his robe and revealed two more pairs of arms below the first set of arms. Each arm held a sword, which makes a total of four swords held by him.

The third elder from the Sword Way sect took out a large sword that was longer than he was and nearly as wide as he was wide. This sword was black and could pass off as a shield.

Six small blades separated from the shield sword and hovered around the sword cultivator. Meanwhile, he gripped the large sword with both hands. Even then, it was clear that he was struggling to hold the sword. So one could imagine how heavy the sword was.

The three elders from the sword way sect suddenly took out their weapons. The other 15 elders on their side also took out their weapons, corpses, and beasts and prepared for battle.

In total there were 18 elders with cultivation that was at the peak of the third mortal coil. 15 of them came from the other four sects, of which 6 came from the Black Bones sect because this secret realm was in their territory. The remaining 3 elders came from three cultivation families.

On the other side were three people from the Blood Skull sect. In fact, only two of them will be fighting. Elder Storm Hawk won't be fighting because she will be busy with keeping Arthur safe and taking him away from here.

So it was 2 against 18. But the elders from the Blood Skull sect weren't cowed at all.

The orange-burning elder unleashed his foundation. This is something that only people from the Blood Skull sect have.

The full power of his armament was unleashed without holding back. This caused his entire body to catch fire, including his eyes and hair. He became a humanoid orange flame and shot towards the enemy like a comet striking the earth.

Behind him, the other elder from the Blood Skull sect had also transformed. Blood-red appendages resembling the legs of a spider came out of his back one after another.

These bloody appendages shone with a metallic light that identified them as deadly weapons. Yet, they were dripping with blood and could even elongate. So they were not entirely metallic.

He quickly became a humanoid spider. His torso was that of a human, but his legs had also transformed into the bloody spider appendages. In total, he had ten limbs. He used the ten limbs as weapons as he joined the fight.

The first elder had rushed into the midst of the enemies and was throwing fire everywhere. He was like a volcano erupting. Each of the balls of fire that erupted out of him exploded like a keg of gunpowder. Rarely did anything survive a close encounter with them.

Even without clashing directly with the balls of fire, his enemies could sense the immense heat and energy contained within them. So they wisely chose to avoid the balls of fire.

Unfortunately, dodging meant that they couldn't get close to him. So he could run about without a care, but anyone he targets feels a crisis of life and death.
