Naruto: Destroy the Sarutobi Clan At the Beginning

Chapter 161: Chapter 163

At that moment, a little girl with a cute ponytail approached Kakashi, tugging at his trouser leg. In a sweet, baby-like voice, she asked, "Are you... the sultry pervert Kakashi?"

"Uh..." Kakashi's mouth twitched visibly under his mask, a bead of sweat forming on his temple. Squatting down awkwardly, he said, "I'm Kakashi, but I'm not a sultry pervert. Little sister, what can I do for you?"

"When I came in, a handsome big brother gave me some candy and asked me to give this to you." The little girl held out an envelope.

Kakashi's eyes narrowed. This must be the evidence Kirito mentioned. He took the envelope, gently patted the girl's head, and said, "Thank you. But little sister, there might be some danger here soon. You should go back to your parents."

"Okay!" she chirped before turning around and skipping away.

"Kakashi, is that the evidence Kirito spoke of?" Might Guy asked, his thick eyebrows furrowing as he eyed the envelope.

"Probably," Kakashi replied. He opened the envelope cautiously and revealed a stack of photographs. The first showed Rasa, impaled by numerous kunai like a human pincushion. The subsequent photos depicted Kabuto Yakushi peeling the skin off a man, revealing the grotesque process in grim detail.

"What...?" Kakashi muttered, a bead of sweat rolling down his forehead. He handed the photos to Might Guy. "Here, Gai. Take a look."

Without another word, Kakashi vanished and reappeared beside Maki, the Sand Ninja leader, who was seated in the audience stands.

"Maki, if you don't want Sunagakure to suffer meaningless sacrifices, come with me," Kakashi said flatly before disappearing again.

"What's he talking about?" Maki muttered, hesitating. After a moment, he decided to follow.

From a distance, Kabuto watched their exchange, suspicion flickering across his face. What did Kakashi find? He didn't have time to dwell on it. Glancing at the venue, Kabuto thought, It's almost time.

Meanwhile, Kakashi and Maki arrived in an alley just outside the stadium.

"It seems you've discovered something. Speak plainly—what do you want?" Maki asked, frowning.

"Look at these." Kakashi tossed the envelope containing the photos toward Maki.

Maki caught it cautiously, pulling out the contents. His expression darkened instantly as he recognized Rasa's lifeless body, pierced by kunai. His hands trembled as he flipped through the photos. When he reached the gruesome images of Kabuto peeling Rasa's skin, Maki's shoulders stiffened, and rage flashed in his eyes.

"Kabuto... that bastard," Maki growled. He turned to Kakashi, his face taut with fury. "Where did you get these?"

"A troublesome person gave them to me. That's all you need to know," Kakashi replied calmly. "Now you understand. The man sitting next to our Hokage isn't your Kazekage. It's Orochimaru. Your village is being used."

Maki's hands clenched the envelope tightly, twisting it in anger. "What do you want?"

"I want to stop this pointless war. Without your Kazekage, you have no chance of winning," Kakashi said firmly.

Maki narrowed his eyes. "Fine. But on one condition—Konoha doesn't retaliate against Sunagakure after this."

Kakashi shrugged. "That's not up to me. Negotiations are for Konoha's higher-ups, and trust me, they've always been weak when it comes to decisions like this. But if you care about your comrades, you'll act now to stop unnecessary bloodshed."

After a tense pause, Maki exhaled sharply. "Fine. I'll order the Sand Ninjas to retreat. But I can't control Orochimaru's Sound Ninjas."

"Leave that to us," Kakashi said with a nod.

Suddenly, white feathers began to fall gently from the sky above the stadium.

"What's this?" Kakashi muttered, his senses sharpening.

"It's Kabuto's genjutsu," Maki replied grimly. "It's starting."

"Then get moving. Warn your people." Kakashi disappeared, heading back to the stadium.

Maki hesitated briefly but decided to prioritize notifying Gaara's team and the Sand Ninjas stationed around Konoha.

Inside the stadium, the battle between Neji and Gaara was nearing its conclusion.

Although Gaara had been slightly moved by Naruto's words during the Forest of Death incident weeks ago, he was still far from a complete transformation. He remained cruel and bloodthirsty to all but his siblings, Temari and Kankuro.

Just like in the preliminaries, Neji's speed and taijutsu proved a challenge for Gaara. The latter's sand shield struggled to keep up with Neji's relentless attacks. Forced onto the defensive, Gaara created a massive Sand Wave, forming a protective barrier while preparing to unleash his ultimate technique.

But before he could finish, Neji broke through the barrier using the newly learned Chidori, inflicting a serious injury on Gaara and interrupting his transformation.

Gaara's protective sand crumbled, and Neji quickly retreated, his arm tingling from the aftershocks of the attack.

Kabuto, observing from the sidelines, smiled faintly. "It's time."

He weaved hand signs and cast his Temple of Nirvana technique. White feathers began to float down from the sky, putting almost everyone in the stands into a deep sleep.

At the same time, Orochimaru's four Sound Ninja guards sprang into action. They threw a smoke flare, signaling the attack, and leaped into the fray to fend off Konoha's defenders.

Amid the chaos, Orochimaru, disguised as the Kazekage, held a kunai to Sarutobi Hiruzen's throat. With a swift movement, he took the Third Hokage hostage and leaped to the top of the stadium dome.

The four Sound Ninjas quickly formed the Four Violet Flames Formation, enveloping Orochimaru and Sarutobi Hiruzen in an impenetrable barrier, cutting off reinforcements.

Thus began the chaotic farce known as the Konoha Collapse Plan.
