Pokémon: Breeding Simulator

Chapter 235: Pokémon: Breeding Simulator [235]

"What…what is that monster?"

"Is it even a Pokémon?"

Holding her trembling Glaceon, Irida quickly directed her people's retreat while glancing anxiously at Giratina floating menacingly in the sky.

Just moments earlier, this enormous Pokémon had appeared from nowhere and launched a merciless assault without hesitation.

Despite the clan's heightened vigilance lately, and alarms sounding the instant the attack began, the damage had already become catastrophic.

Compared to Zoroark's previous harmless mischief…

This Pokémon clearly intended to annihilate the Pearl Clan entirely.

BOOM—!

Another massive explosion ripped through the settlement, carving a deep trench across the ground.

Irida clenched her teeth helplessly.

If the monster hadn't deliberately prolonged their torment, the Pearl Clan would've likely vanished instantly.

"Elias…"

At this desperate moment, her first instinct was to call on Elias, who had rushed off after Zoroark earlier.

But she shook her head firmly.

No. I'm the clan leader now. I can't keep troubling Elias for help.

Moreover…

Most of the recent cruel gossip had come from her own clan members.

She was too ashamed to ask him for aid again.

"Leader, where should we go? We can't hold here any longer," a frightened clansman asked shakily.

None of them had ever encountered a Pokémon this powerful before.

Neither traditional bows nor newly-invented Poké Balls made any difference against it.

"Fall back into the tundra," Irida quickly decided, issuing her command.

She could only hope the monster would grow bored and leave quickly.

Otherwise, no amount of retreating would matter.

Upon her command, the formation broke instantly as everyone fled desperately toward the depths of the Alabaster Icelands.

Chaos consumed the entire scene.

In the sky above, Giratina gazed down coldly at the fleeing humans.

The Pearl Clan's escape was meaningless.

It had already decided to bury them all beneath the tundra.

No Pokémon could oppose it now.

As long as Arceus stayed out of this fight, neither Regigigas—hidden within the tundra—nor those irritating temporal and spatial dragons could challenge its dominance.

Here, on this land, Giratina felt invincible.

Its confidence swelled immensely, especially with the Plates circling around its body, creating an illusion of it already being Arceus itself.

"Watch closely, Arceus—I'll defeat you and become the new ruler!"

"Roar—!"

With that declaration, Giratina opened its jaws again, a bluish-purple Dragon Pulse charging at its mouth.

This time, its target was the fleeing Pearl Clan.

Far away, Irida's Glaceon trembled violently, whimpering in distress.

It knew…it was about to die.

Noticing Glaceon's reaction, Irida's gaze followed upward, realizing with horror where Giratina was aiming.

"Oh no!"

Her blood ran cold instantly.

Not just her—everyone who noticed froze, terror gripping their expressions.

BOOM—!

The [Dragon Pulse] erupted violently, shaking the air with deafening force.

Shockwaves rippled outwards as the beam cut through the sky.

But…

To everyone's astonishment, the attack veered wildly off course.

It smashed harmlessly into a distant mountain peak, sending large boulders crashing down.

What happened?

Dazed from surviving the near-death experience, Irida stared at Giratina.

The giant, worm-like monster now had smoke rising from its head, its neck bent at an unnatural angle, clearly dazed from an attack.

In fact, Giratina itself was momentarily stunned.

Someone attacked me?

That was undeniable.

The sheer force behind the strike left its head ringing. Whoever did this had immense power.

"Who's there?!"

Giratina roared furiously, turning toward the source.

Was it Regigigas?

Or perhaps another old foe?

As Giratina speculated, a familiar figure quickly appeared in its view—

—Zoroark.

Beside her stood the human chosen by Arceus.

Aside from them, no other Pokémon appeared.

Giratina's eyes narrowed suspiciously.

It knew Zoroark's strength—her previous attacks had barely tickled it.

Yet that strike had genuinely harmed it.

The mystery deepened…

Until it noticed the Plate hovering quietly beside Zoroark.

That damned llama…indeed interfered again.

...

Meanwhile, Zoroark eagerly grabbed Elias's hand.

Her attack had finally worked!

This time, it hadn't felt weak or ineffective as before.

Giratina clearly looked stunned after being hit.

"Elias, I've gotten stronger!" she exclaimed excitedly, nudging him affectionately.

"I noticed. You're amazing," Elias praised sincerely.

Zoroark rarely expressed joy like this, confirming just how significant her boost in power had been.

"Centipede, do you want to return to the Distortion World willingly, or shall we help you along?" Elias asked loudly, amplifying his voice telepathically as Giratina hovered closer.

If possible, Elias preferred to avoid having Zoroark face a Pokémon of Giratina's caliber directly.

"Human, you speak nonsense," Giratina sneered disdainfully.

Despite Zoroark clearly absorbing power from the Ghost-type Plate, Giratina still possessed far more Plates, giving it a clear advantage.

Any battle would inevitably tilt in its favor.

"Wait a moment, Zoroark."

Gently, Elias restrained Zoroark as she prepared to launch herself forward.

Arceus, the Plates.

He silently called out.

Immediately, the sky above cracked slightly, golden light piercing through ominously.

Seeing this, Giratina's arrogant expression instantly drained away.

Not good!

Realizing the threat, Giratina desperately tried retreating—but it was too late.

Golden beams exploded forth, shooting directly toward Giratina.
