Chapter 80: CHAPTER 69 – VS ERIKA (PART THREE)
*Note: Ok, here's new chapter. This time I uploaded the chapter later than normal because I'm preparing my new Fic. A fic that you'll like a lot. What anime will be? To Love Ru. It will be the same story that the original manga or anime? Of course not. Harem? Yes. Another worlds? No. A new exciting story more serious? Yes. A Gold Finger? Yes. OP protagonist? Not and Yes (You'll see when I publish it). Another dropped one? No, because this time will be different. It be only one world and the protagonist will have one skill but a lot of them at the same time, but not at the same time. What do I mean? You'll find out soon. When will I publish? In a few days but it won't interfere with this fic. This fic and the Miss Peregrine one will be the priority so don't worry, I love this fic a lot (and the Miss Peregrine one too), but I decided to write another fic because I was thinking about this fic during months, so it's not something I decided today. I have to think the details of this fic during months, so I'm sure you would like it.

...
The attack was quite effective as Lopunny got down on one knee just as she managed to pull herself together.
"Are you okay: do you want me to change you?" – I asked worriedly.
Lopunny looked at me and shook her head, apparently she still had the energy to battle and the good thing is that this attack did not poison her, which would have been a problem otherwise.
"What are you going to do now that you know you can't get close to my Victreebel? You know if you do, he'll catch your Lopunny with his Vine Whip again" - said Erika.
It's true, if I attack head-on, Erika will do exactly the same thing again, apparently she's not a gym leader just by luck, their strategies are also interesting and experience has probably played a role in this as well, It is likely that many trainers who have challenged her have tried to do exactly the same thing and that is why they practiced that technique, so as not to fall into the same trap again, however, looking at his Victreebel, it's not like he suffered 0 damage from that attack, he looked a little hurt by it, the problem was that Lopunny had taken a lot more damage than him and in an endurance battle I have the chance to lose.
"Well: what will you do?" she asked.
Lopunny is a physical Pokémon and therefore, she has to get close to be able to hit the rival Pokémon, so this is an impediment, unless...
"Lopunny, run to the wall!" – I exclaimed.
Lopunny nodded, turned around, and hurried toward the wall.
"What is she doing?" – everyone wondered.
The Pokémon League rules didn't say that a Pokémon would be disqualified if he/she lefts the battlefield, but... what is Ash thinking?
A few meters before Lopunny reached the wall, it was time.
"Use all your strength and push yourself as hard as you can using the wall as a support!" – I exclaimed.
Lopunny nodded and already knew more or less what her trainer was thinking, now their bond had grown stronger and she understood his intentions better, so she knew more or less what he wanted to do.
Using all the strength she could muster in her legs, she lunged for the wall and, using the wall as a trampoline, Lopunny propelled herself towards Victreebel at breakneck speed. If it had been any other Pokémon, doing this would have been almost impossible, especially because of the distance that separated the two, but Lopunny's strong point was her speed and her legs, strong legs that allowed her to carry out this type of strategy.
"Turn over yourself and use Jump Kick!" – I exclaimed.
Lopunny nodded and turned over herself a few times as her right leg lit up a light brown.
"No, dodge it!" – Erika said.
Due to the confusion at the beginning and Lopunny's astonishing speed, Erika had not had time to react.
"Too late! Let's see if your Pokémon is able to catch Lopunny now!" – I exclaimed.
Thanks to the speed of rotation, the power of Lopunny's attack would increase even more and the momentum given by the wall made it impossible for Victreebel to perform the same strategy as before due to the speed with which Lopunny was heading towards him.
"Since we can't dodge it... try to grab her again!" – exclaimed Erika.
But it was impossible and Lopunny's attack hit Victreebel with enormous force, causing him to shoot towards the wall and crash into it, weakening instantly. Erika had made a mistake because trying to grab Lopunny again was like trying to catch a cannonball, it was totally impossible to do so and he suffered the consequences of his attempt.
"Victreebel has weakened, Lopunny wins!" – Carla said.
Surprised, Erika returned Victreebel to his Pokéball and after thanking his, she fixed her gaze on me.
"I must say that you surprise me. When I created this strategy, I thought no physical Pokémon could ever hit me again, but today you taught me a lesson, there is always a solution to every problem, you just have to find it" – said Erika.
In reality, it was quite a risky strategy because if Erika had realized my intentions, Victreebel would have been able to dodge Lopunny's attack with ease and that would have been fatal for Lopunny.
"It occurred to me suddenly" – I said.
It was not a lie, it's a strategy that suddenly came to my mind. It's amazing what Ash and I can do combined, the strategies we come up with are incredible, although I should stop speaking in plural because the original Ash doesn't exist anymore after all.
"You are an excellent trainer with a rare talent and I think you will go far, I have no doubt, but first you must completely surpass me. I'll show you my last Pokémon, go ahead, Vileplume!" – Erika exclaimed.
Vileplume came out of his Pokéball ready to give it his all.
After seeing Vileplume, I looked at Lopunny and realized that fatigue had taken its toll on her. If she continued to battle, there was no chance for her to win this battle, and that Vileplume did not look weak in the least.
"Lopunny, I think you should rest" – I said with a smile.
Lopunny looked at me but said nothing, I guess she felt the same way I did, so I just returned her back in her Pokéball.
"Thank you, you're great and you've done great, you deserve a long and well-deserved rest" – I said with a smile.
"Pika pi?" – Pikachu asked.
Apparently she wanted to go out on the battlefield, but I had other plans. Pikachu was very strong, and there were Pokémon that had fallen behind on my team, a Pokémon with an incredible potential that hadn't improved since I catch her.
"Sorry Pikachu, this time it won't be your turn, but in the next gym I promise you that you will be the first to battle" – I said.
Pikachu nodded.
"Wise decision, your Lopunny would have lost if she had continued battle and It's a good to know your Pokémon's limits" – Erika agreed.
Wow, it seems that the Erika of this world loves to give lessons, altought it's not that it bothers me either.
"Exactly, but be prepared because this Pokémon is not weak either... Go ahead, Mew, it's time for our first battle!" – I exclaimed.
And for the first time since I catched her, Mew took to the battlefield.
As soon as she got out of her Pokéball, she went straight into my arms and hugged me.
"Mew!" – Mew exclaimed in my arms affectionately.
"Yes, yes, I love you too, but it's time to battle, the cuddles can wait" – I said caressing her little head.
"Mew!" – Mew nodded.
Then, she flew away and positioned herself in front of Vileplume, a few feet away from him, but to my surprise, Erika and Carla had been stunned, as if they had seen a ghost and it had left them completely paralyzed, actually, I was expecting a similar reaction so my surprise quickly disappeared.
"A-A MEW; IT'S A MEW!" - exclaimed Carla.
She was impressed, obviously she had heard about Mew, the Mythical Pokémon that inhabits the Kanto region, but despite that, only a few people have been able to see one, in fact, if it were not for those people, his existence would not even be known, much less what it looks like and the capabilities it possesses, but, despite all that, she never saw a Mew in her life, and she hadn't even considered the fact that she would ever see one, after all, only lucky trainers are able to see one, but catch one?! No one in history has been able to achieve such a feat!
"Wow, I really didn't expect this, a Mew. Excuse my discourtesy, but... How did you catch one? I mean, Mew is known for being an elusive Pokémon that is barely visible and only those with incredible luck have been able to graze his skin, then: How is it possible that you managed to catch one?" – Erika asked surprised.
She was also shocked and couldn't believe what she was seeing in front of her.
