SHADOW SLAVE [Ray: Incomplete Existence]

"Beast?? A devil to be more precise " she responded with a smirk

Wearing a dejected look Ray choose not to reply and maintained his silence

"Aww why do you look so sad did you have some expectations from this girl or are you sad to see your captors like this" said the girl in a mocking tone while pointing towards the villagers

"They're not even real are they? I've been in a mind hex or something like that since I've arrived here" said Ray with the same indifferent tone

The girl or what inhabited her gave a look of amusement

"So my evaluation was wrong after all, something is different with you this time"

"This time? How many times you've. repeated this.." ray asked his voice getting dimmer with each word

"It has been many times but not enough not until you break not until I get back what's rightfully mine" said the girl in a sadistic yet serious tone

Ray looked at her with a hopeless expression and turned his head down

his gesture indicating 'do as you wish'

"So how did you figure out" asked the girl

"Figure out what.?" asked ray

"This is not real" said devil girl

Ray laughed "that!! , it was easy actually,it was due to the nightmares or more accurately when I broke free of your hex"

"The real me is tied to the door that leads to your eyes right"

A subtle sense of annoyance could be seen on the monster's or more precisely devil's face

"But that alone should not be enough''

the girl retorted

"Well the moon was beautiful but it wasn't real it was something else Moon is supposed to reflect light but light from that seemed to be of it, it would sometimes dim and sometimes brighten that thing must been luminous when it was full but now little is left in it."

Ray looked at the girl to see her speechless and then continued

"That's your soul core right the last one actually. I considered you to have two or three but since you said you are a devil you must have 4. It seems with your eyes and powers have been sealed as well right ?"

After hearing this the devil girl was speechless she was not sure what to say so she restorted to threatening ray

"You know too much I think I'll have to end our game and your life early "

Ray had thought of this so he replied instantly

"You may but you do know that if your lock dies then my family will be alarmed and in your current state I don't think you can take them on honestly if you could you wouldn't have resorted to this level of trickery it must be hard to produce such illusions in your soul sea"

Hearing this the enraged devil girl replied in her ethereal voice

"I'll continue to toture u till u go mad no till you beg me to kill you"

with her ethereal voice this made it much more threatening, it was if a otherworldly being was promising to give Ray a bitter end yet Ray calmly replied

"I don't think you have much time left My retainer most probably Raizen came to check on me yesterday and must have discovered something weird and once the suspicion is turned to certainty you'll be sealed as well ofcourse not in same room with your eyes"

If someone was watching their conversation they might have thought who actually was the captive . The devil girl had no moves left to play and ray practically was safe despite being at her mercy

Hearing all this snapped the devil girl she took the machete from executioner and raised it to end Ray

"Stop" Ray said in a firm tone

"So you value your life but it's no use your words upto know have sealed your fate .

My life ends or continues i don't care but I'll make sure to end yours"

"That's the thing i value my life what do u value.?"ray asked looking as if trying to make a deal

"Why should I tell you so u may use it against me more than that you are not someone with whom I should share my future " said the devil lady

"What do you mean we are not close lady.

You've been locked for far more time than you can remember and I've been your lock for my whole life . There have been none closer to me than you in the whole world in the whole two worlds actually " said Ray with a voice full of passion

"But you've been the lock that has been stopping my return to glory said the girl" in an angry voice

"I became a fucking lock with my will.? No I've been binded to that door as far as I can remember honestly I've been as much of prisoner as you honestly I've had it worst atleast u saw a world outside I even never got the chance to" said Ray with a voice showing his frustration

"I want my eyes the most" said the devil lady after considering more for a moment

"Why?" asked the ray curiously

"And here I thought you understood me you bastard I want them because they're mine because they belong to me you get it.?"

"I mean why do you desire then so much you could want your power your soul cores but you chose your eyes what u wish to do with them" said Ray

After being hesitant for a moment the devil lady said

"Well because I want to see the world that's why I was exiled and was trapped by you humans"

Ray remained silent

"So will you open the door and give back my eyes" asked devil girl with a hint of hope in her eyes

"No" Ray replied blatantly

"You peice of shit I should've killed you before , to make fun of me like this I'll make sure to play with your head as a ball"

"Wait wait don't get vulgar lady. The thing is I'm the lock not the key I don't know how to open the gate but" ray became abruptly quiet

"But what" asked devil girl

Looking at the devil girl with eyes full of conviction Ray said:

"Ive seen your conviction your desire to see and experience the world it's something I can relate on a personal level so I'll give you a deal " after pausing for a moment Ray steeled his resolve and looked at the devil lady and said in a firm tone

"Take one of my eyes"
