SHADOW SLAVE [Ray: Incomplete Existence]

Ray felt hazy after being free from the mind hex . He looked around to see light rays coming in from some holes in the door turned his head to see chains with unknown. inscriptions binding him to a door. Ray knew he could shout for help now and maybe someone would come but it wouldn't help in completing the tutorial . He had to either kill the creature to survive or survive without killing it so he had decided to talk his way through and who knew it would work

While waiting for her ray felt restless he wanted the nightmare to end as soon as possible

'Is she trying to make me wait for an eternity maybe I should shout after all'ray thought to himself

Then suddenly all of the light rays that came into room by tiny holes were extinguished by shadows no not by shadows but by true darkness because one needed a light source for shadows

Then the darkness surrounded ray like the time when he escaped the hex for a moment but this time it did not feel oppressing it felt as if it was healing his old wounds

Then ray spoke in a croaking voice:

"Are you trying to make me drop my gaurd so you'll jumpscare me"

Well he was startled the next second because something or something hugged him from behind he could feel her on his back, her arms lightly wrapped around his neck . Ray was genuinely suprised by her suddenly arival and more importantly place of arrival as he was not sure how she was hugging him from behind because there was practically no space between him and the door so how was she there maybe she separated him and door a bit because he felt oppressive feelings of chains on him lighten a bit while considering all of these Ray felt a little warmth from her so he jokingly asked

"Did you fall for me or what ?"

"What if I did " said the girl in a flat tone

Ray remained quiet not sure if she was joking or serious in both case he couldn't do much as they would be separated by the nightmare spell anyway the real question was would he return as a sleeper or as a beast

"I am just kidding you are way too young and weak" said the devil lady

While she said this a black figure of a woman made of true darkness emerged infront of ray

As Ray was about to give a befitting reply the silhouette in from of him raised her hand extended it towards Ray covering his eyes

Then he heard from the figure behind him

It will hurt like hell it's likely you will pass out

, as a parting gift I'll complete your core making path of ascension viable for you maybe after realising you have a soul core your family will let you off and attach a soul core here then maybe we can meet again"

Just as Ray was about to respond he felt a sharp pain in his whole body no in his whole being . The originated at his head more precisely from his eyes sometimes it felt as if his eyes did not exist and sometimes it felt as if they were never his but at the same time they were his simultaneously he felt something invade his body something dark yet soothing presence entered his being it circulated through his body then it started to gather above his heart completing something which was missing making Ray's being whole again it felt cooling as if a sense comfort travelled through Ray's body

These two process of plain and pleasure were quite Paradoxical maybe that's what was meant by the attribute [paradoxical existence ] even though the calming effect was in place ray found himself losing conciousness because of the pain

Cursing himself for his fragility Ray managed to mutter "Take care" before going Blank.....

Ray opened his eyes and found himself in a space between dream and reality. It was an endless black void illuminated by a myriad of stars.

Even though the view around him was breathtaking he instinctively touched his eyes and soon realised there was no pain

[Aspirant! your trial is over]

Ray was startled by the voice of spell suddenly coming at him from everywhere it felt as he was inside a vast being and that being was talking with him.

[ A pitiful existence seen nothing more than a mere lock was put into a mind hex by a creature of true darkness he went through numerous painful scenarios until the pitiful existence with his presence of mind and empathy made a deal with creature of darkness and freed the terrible creature in return completing his own incomplete core]

Ray said nothing and just nodded with his head with a faint smile

Hearing this Ray's eyes widened even he knew supreme was super rare and for someone like him of humble origin it was no less than a boon

Hearing this Ray raised his eyebrows he wanted to retort but chose to remain silent to hear th aspect description

A genuine smile found its way to Rays face as he was grinning without even knowing because when he first saw his aspect in trial he was lost he wasn't even sure how he would survive the nightmare let alone dream world but atleast it was possible now atleast he could walk the path of ascension now all he wanted was a good aspect ability

Then the spell spoke

[The First seal is broken .]
