Superman's Saiyan little brother

Chapter 447: Chapter 447: Did He Escape?

"Poof!" With a burst of power, the invisible mire that had been restraining Seldar vanished instantly. Seldar then launched a punch at Hell Baron's massive right fist.

"Boom!" The sound of their fists colliding echoed loudly. Hell Baron was sent flying backwards, his right fist gruesomely deformed, resembling a smashed cucumber, with blood pouring from it. Yet, his expression remained unchanged as if he felt no pain at all.

In reality, Hell Baron could indeed feel pain, but his right hand was akin to a weapon, devoid of pain receptors and impervious to any attack. Just as it seemed Seldar's punch would completely ruin his right hand, it began healing rapidly, almost as if time were reversing.

"What the hell?!" In midair, Constantine had initially felt a burst of joy when he saw Hell Baron being sent flying, thinking that if Hell Baron was not a match for Seldar, Robert could intervene and kill Seldar, thus providing Constantine with a sacrifice to pay off his debts. However, seeing Hell Baron's right hand rapidly heal, he exclaimed in shock.

"...," Robert was momentarily speechless at Constantine's lack of discretion. Although Constantine had been trying to hide his thoughts, the speed of Hell Baron's hand's recovery had startled him so much that he failed to conceal his reaction.

"That right fist is quite unique. It doesn't seem like a healing ability, nor does it look like flesh," Robert mused as he examined Hell Baron more closely, particularly noting the difference between Hell Baron's hands.

Hell Baron's left hand appeared normal, save for its demonic red skin, resembling a regular human hand without even sharp claws. In contrast, his right hand didn't seem to be made of flesh at all. To Robert, it looked more like a giant gauntlet or weapon, capable of granting Hell Baron immense strength and self-repair abilities.

"I wonder if Tony would be interested in that right hand? But even though it looks like a weapon, it's clearly not a product of technology. Could hellish power really produce such an odd entity?" Robert pondered silently.

"Impressive!" Under the watchful eyes of Robert and Constantine, Hell Baron got back on his feet and, with an excited grin, addressed Seldar emerging from the shattered tavern. "I sensed your power was strong, but you're even stronger than I imagined. It was worth coming all this way to face you."

"Are you insane?!" Seldar's face darkened as he glared at Hell Baron. "Just because I'm strong, you want to fight me? Aren't you afraid of ruining your master's plans?!"

"Not at all. If I kill you, there won't be any problems," Hell Baron shrugged. He didn't understand what Seldar was misunderstanding, but he had no intention of explaining, instead using Seldar's misconception to find an opening to defeat him.

Hell Baron's words completely enraged Seldar, who decided he would kill Hell Baron and then leave. As long as he handled it carefully, even Hell Baron's master wouldn't easily discover what happened on Earth.

"Roar!" With that thought, Seldar lunged at Hell Baron, aiming a powerful punch at his head. A sound like a cannon blast rang out as Seldar was unexpectedly sent flying, landing in a heap and looking back at Hell Baron in bewilderment.

Hell Baron stood there holding a modified revolver. Despite being called a revolver, this gun had six barrels, each larger than a human fist. Hell Baron wielded it with his left hand, supporting the barrel with his right hand to fire it. The gun was clearly not a typical technological product.

"Why is this so bizarre? Two hellish beings fighting, and one pulls out a gun?" Constantine muttered, feeling the scene was out of place.

Robert shared the same sentiment, feeling like he was watching a movie scene where a demon hunter battles a ghost with a sacred weapon, and finally, shoots the ghost away.

"Times have indeed changed!" Robert thought.

"You're really insane!" Seldar, who had been blasted away by the massive gun, felt an intense sense of incongruity. He could clearly feel that the bullet wasn't ordinary; it carried Hell Baron's energy wrapped in the power of silver and holy light.

Hell Baron's gun wasn't just custom-made; its barrel was imbued with power specifically countering hellish beings and dark creatures. That was why Hell Baron held the gun with his right hand, which was immune to the backlash from the barrel.

This realization drove Seldar into a frenzy. He couldn't comprehend how a hellish being, a supposed son of a Hell Lord, could use a gun infused with powers countering hell's forces.

"Yes, do you have any medication for me?" Hell Baron replied nonchalantly to Seldar's enraged shouts, his excitement evident. Many of the hellish beings Hell Baron had killed couldn't accept being defeated by another hellish being in such a manner, and their final expressions of rage had become routine to him.

"Good! Very good!" Seldar laughed angrily, his aura expanding until the ground trembled, and the tavern's debris began to float. A top-tier Hell Demon's power was nothing to scoff at, and even Hell Baron, who had been composed, now felt the pressure and readied himself, his own energy surging in response.

"Swish!" Just as Hell Baron braced for Seldar's attack, Seldar's figure vanished. Hell Baron tensed, unable to detect where Seldar might strike from.

"This guy is even stronger than I thought!" Hell Baron thought, clutching his right hand, ready to counterattack or block Seldar's assault. He doubted his gun could hit Seldar now.

"Such amazing stealth! Or is he just too fast for me to track?" In midair, Constantine grew serious. He had seen top-tier Hell Demons before but had never witnessed their combat abilities firsthand, except when Robert fought one.

During that battle, the top-tier demon had created a domain, obscuring the fight, and Robert's relentless attacks had made it impossible to observe their abilities clearly. When Robert and Clark later fought Mephisto, Constantine had been sent away, unable to watch.

"This is terrifying! Is this the power of a top-tier Hell Demon? How strong are Hell Lords then? Were those guys just toying with me before?" Constantine reflected on his past encounters with Hell's forces. He had often evaded capture, thinking it was due to his cleverness, but now he wondered if it was because they never saw him as a real threat.

"He didn't vanish because of stealth or speed; he simply fled," Robert remarked, glancing at the daydreaming Constantine.

"Wait, what?! My sacrifice escaped?!" Constantine snapped back, alarmed.

"What do you mean your sacrifice? The rightful owner hasn't even spoken," Robert retorted disdainfully. His voice carried because Hell Baron had already noticed them earlier when Constantine exclaimed.

"Hmm? Constantine?" Hell Baron didn't recognize Robert but was very familiar with Constantine's notorious reputation in the supernatural world, especially among the dark side. Recognizing him, Hell Baron's face darkened further, hearing the ongoing conversation between Robert and Constantine.

"Are you here for the demon too?" Hell Baron eyed Constantine and glanced at Robert, sensing no significant threat from him, particularly no magical presence, which made Hell Baron slightly more at ease. He believed he could handle Constantine and prevent him from taking his prey.

"We're after more than just one demon. I've discovered nine Hell Demons, and this is just one of them," Constantine shrugged, smiling. "We arrived before you, considering your special status, giving you a chance. Since you've failed, we'll take over."

"Ha! Do you really think you can handle a Hell Demon? Do you even have the ability?" Hell Baron mocked Constantine, refusing to acknowledge his claim on Seldar.

"I can handle them! I've already killed two Hell Demons before. Your level isn't much to brag about!" Constantine boasted, looking at Hell Baron with a smug expression.

"What underhanded method did you use? Don't tell me you sacrificed your companions again?" Hell Baron squinted, warning Robert, "Be careful. This guy has a history of betraying his allies. You're safe now because he finds you useful. Once you lose your value, he'll turn on you without hesitation."

"That's nonsense! Our bond is unbreakable..." Constantine's face turned livid, shouting back.

"Enough! You two continue your chat. Let me know when you find that demon. I'll check other areas." With that, Robert vanished, leaving a parting comment. He decided to investigate other battlegrounds, letting Constantine and Hell Baron continue their banter. After all, they had plenty to talk about.
