Chapter 152: Eight Greed King's Families (1)
As Night Silver left the room with her party, Issanth joined them on a little walk. It was during this walk where She relayed all of the information she had, reluctantly gathered, about the families of the Eight Greed Kings.
"Is that really how it was? Wow, those bastards… They didn't have a good bone anywhere in their bodies."
"I can confirm that Sil. They tasted horrible." Anastasi added.
"You actually ate them?"
"It was part of the multitude of ways we killed them. It's unfortunate they didn't last longer, from what I've seen they deserved an untold amount of suffering." She looked at the woman, girlishly holding Night Silver's hand. "The amount of suffering the eight of them wrought in such a short time…"
"It could have been much, much worse." Night Silver said, coming to a stop facing a door. "Had it been any of the top ranking guilds… I'd have had to get involved right away. I was actually preparing for that event… I'm glad it didn't come to that though." She smiled. "Now then, let's take care of the loose ends."
A maid opened the door, revealing what was inside. The room was furnished with a handful of beds, a bathroom off to the either side, and a ton of toys for the kids to play with while the mothers watched. From the looks of it, it seemed that the mothers had opted to enjoy these moments regardless of what happens next.
Issanth entered the room first. I just know these bitches will cause my sister so many problems. "Listen up, my sister has arrived. You had better show her the respect she deserves."
"Eek! Oh, Lady Issanth, welcome!" The women stood up in freight. Their bodies were stiff as a board, and a cold sweat ran down their faces.
"Well? What is your answer?"
"Oh, we will do our best not to offend her, Lady Issanth!"
"Good, because even I have to watch myself around her."
Night Silver entered the room with an unearthly stride. She gave off the feeling that she was a real goddess. One that no one could ever hope to say otherwise. "Issanth, sister, there's no need for you to walk on eggshells around me. I already know you want to have fun with me. Come around, and join us sometime."
"Uh, sister, someone has to keep that idiot, Tsa, in line. If I left his side, there'd be no one else."
"That's of little consequence, Issanth." She whispered in her ear, with a little nibble. "You can come any time and I'll make sure you're welcomed, it's also a really good time now. If you know what I mean." She stepped back with a wink, then turned around. "Now then, so these are those bastards' families? Hmm, they don't look like they're all that much. Like they'd lived in abject poverty for most of their life. I see here… You young ladies were chosen to bear their children until you couldn't keep up any longer."
The women didn't seem to understand Night Silver's words. Instead they opted to just look down at their own chests, or watch as the picture of beauty strode over to a cleared couch. She took a seat, with grace and dignity, the gentle swing of her bosom, mesmerizing.
"You don't even seem to know it for yourselves, but you're all pregnant again." She narrowed her eyes. "Talk about a terrible group." One child, a little girl, had walked close to her. "Hello, you're a brave little girl aren't you?"
"Uhm, miss? Uh, when will my daddy be coming back?"
"Wow, that's horrible… You haven't bothered to explain what happened, and why all of this is going on. I suppose I don't need to think about the matter any longer in that regard. I now know what I must do with you women." Night Silver said, giving the women a glare that said, death, she looked back at the girl, and with a smile continued speaking. "Never."
"Huh?"
"Your daddy, along with the rest of his friends have been killed by my hand."
The girl stumbled, confused. Though to be fair, she should have already known. This girl wasn't incredibly old, though she wasn't so young that she wouldn't have the ability to figure out what was happening. And more importantly, why it was happening. "You killed my daddy?"
"Yes, and I feel absolutely no remorse for doing so. He was a vile man, and one that associated with other vile men. The one friend they had that I can say deserved any respect, was their leader, the woman. Though, that respect died when she killed the last of my friends that came to this world with me." She continued, ignoring the child's crying. "The actions they took were inflammatory, and heavily damaging. This world will never be the same again." She sighed. "Had I just let them continue doing what they wished, they might have got a bit too bold for their own good and died anyway. Rotten to the core, that's what they were."
"But… My daddy… HE WASN'T ROTTEN!" The girl shouted, and her mother acted quickly, covering the child's mouth, but it was far too late for that.
"Really then? So, them attacking my children, unprovoked, isn't the act of the rotten? Then forcing themselves upon the women in lesser known tribes is also suddenly not a rotten thing to do? Them choosing your mothers to be breeding dolls for their own offspring, knowing that they wouldn't survive a confrontation with me." She elaborated. "They could have decided to work with this world, instead they each insisted upon using anyone and everything for their own gain. And your tears are not nearly enough to alleviate the damage your fathers have done."
The room was silent, no one dared to contest her words. She was right about everything, every single detail. And then another of the children broke the silence.
"But they were our daddies! You took them from us!"
"I see it more as rescuing every child from every other nation, race, and tribe, from the abject suffering those wretched men were already releasing upon them." Night Silver smiled, clearly unperturbed by the cries of children who knew nothing. "The only thing I might regret is not acting sooner, and more directly. Though-" She added, looking at Anastasi. "There are things out here in this world that I would not have now, had I acted earlier."
