The Gamer who traveled to Honkai: Star Rail

Chapter 414: Chapter 413: Lynx’s Confusion

With Pei Guang leading the way, the three of them happily gathered materials and started building their base.

For most people, constructing a shelter in such a harsh, snow-covered environment would be an impossible challenge. But for players like them? Piece of cake.

And as Pei Guang continued working, he realized just how absurdly comprehensive his system's abilities were.

Previously, most of his abilities had been focused on adventuring—things like the crafting pot and auto-building blueprints. But now that he was shifting into survival mode, new skills related to survival were being unlocked.

And so, Pei Guang fully demonstrated what it truly meant to be a survival gamer.

Seemingly out of nowhere, he produced wood and stone, compressed them into one-meter blocks, and started stacking them up. Logically speaking, stacking materials like building blocks shouldn't be structurally sound at all.

But when he did it? Even March 7th was dumbfounded.

Despite just stacking blocks like a child's toy, the walls were solid as a rock—practically indestructible.

After gathering a bunch of wood and decorative stones, March 7th knocked on the finished walls. "Unbelievable… you literally just stacked things together, and yet it's as sturdy as an actual building. You know what, Ah Guang… never mind. At this point, I don't even have the energy to complain anymore."

If this had happened when she first met Pei Guang, she would've been utterly shocked.

But after everything she'd seen?

She was already used to it.

Need anything done? Just ask our resident Pei Guang. Guaranteed success!

Hearing March 7th's complaint, Stelle grinned smugly as she watched Pei Guang collecting more materials in the distance. "Well, obviously! He's Ah Guang! He can destroy an unbreakable wall in an instant—so it's only natural that he can just as easily build one! With Ah Guang's skills, he could easily become a Preservation Emanator."

March 7th glanced at her. "...Why does it sound like you think high-ranking Emanators are just random nobodies on the street?"

Stelle blinked. "Wait, aren't they? According to Ah Guang, we barely left the starter zone, and we already ran into Emanators. That means they're everywhere, right?"

Pei Guang, overhearing their conversation, walked over out of curiosity. "What are you two talking about?"

Stelle: "Emanators. Ah Guang, do you think we'll run into more of them in the next world?"

March 7th shook her head. "I bet if we do run into another one, it'll just be someone like General Jing Yuan—definitely not another Lord Ravager. I mean, running into one Lord Ravager was already crazy enough. If we do it seven times, we might as well just fight the Aeon of Destruction directly. That's terrifying…"

Pei Guang thought for a moment. "You know, logically speaking, if we really did run into seven Lord Ravagers, we might actually summon the Aeon of Destruction. Because back in my hometown, there's this story where if you gather seven Dragon Balls, you can summon a dragon that grants any wish."

Stelle looked at him, intrigued. "Oh? Then Ah Guang, do you think we'll run into even more Emanators in the next world?"

Pei Guang: "You just want me to guess? Fine. I say we will run into them—but how many? No clue. Doesn't matter, though. If they're enemies, then they're getting wiped out sooner or later."

Hearing Pei Guang's straightforward prediction, March 7th sighed dramatically. "Well, that's it then. If Ah Guang's already calling it, that means we're definitely gonna meet some crazy strong opponents next time… But, y'know, ever since I met you two back on the space station, I feel like adventuring has gotten way more exciting."

"In the past, running into Emanators was rare—even in entire worlds, you might never see one. But since you two showed up? I've seen tons! Heck, I even met an actual Aeon! That alone was enough to make one of my dreams come true!"

March 7th had always wondered if she'd ever get to see an Aeon.

And today, that dream was fulfilled—in the most direct way possible.

Not only did she meet one, but the Aeon itself personally explained her memory situation. The kind of treatment she got? That was beyond special.

Pei Guang smirked. "Hey, who knows? Maybe you're actually a reincarnated Aeon. Or maybe you were once an Emanator of an Aeon. But, y'know, this kind of thing—just go with the flow. See an enemy? Beat them. See tragedy? Prevent it. We're players, after all."

Stelle: "Exactly! Crush 'em all!"

When Pei Guang said, "Alright, stop messing around and help build the house! At this rate, we'll have a warm little cabin in just ten more minutes," Stelle and March 7th quickly got back to work.

Though they had been chatting, their hands never stopped moving. Imitating Pei Guang's method, they continued stacking materials, and before long, a neat little house was fully constructed.

Due to real-world physics, they couldn't simply build floating structures like in Minecraft or Terraria, but compared to traditional construction methods, the fact that they could just place materials and instantly form walls was already ridiculous.

Once the house was completed, the three of them stepped inside, looking around at what they had built with satisfied smiles.

It was a standard one-story house, roughly 70 to 80 square meters in size, with a two-bedroom, one-living-room layout.

However, as soon as she stepped into the living room, March 7th shivered, crossing her arms. "This house... is still freezing."

Pei Guang grinned. "No worries. I found something good while exploring earlier. Here, have a sip!"

He pulled out a bottle of potion and handed it over. Without hesitation, March 7th took it and drank it in one go. As soon as the liquid went down, warmth spread through her entire body, as if she didn't even need the power of a Path to resist the cold.

March 7th blinked in surprise. "What is this?"

Pei Guang explained, "Found a formula for it in an abandoned house. It's called a Blizzard Resistance Potion, made from materials unique to Belobog. I whipped up a few after I got the recipe. Not bad, right? Oh, and fun fact—whoever made this has a connection to us."

Curious, Stelle asked, "Wait, someone we know made this? But that's weird, I don't remember seeing anything like this in Belobog."

Pei Guang glanced at the description on the recipe and replied, "Yeah, it's someone familiar. According to the notes, this was created by a relative of Natasha. Judging by the backstory, this formula might even trigger a hidden quest. Once we're done here, we should go check with Natasha."

March 7th lit up at the mention. "Huh? Natasha? You mean that nice doctor? If it's related to her, we definitely need to go see her."

Stelle nodded. "Agreed!"

As the three discussed their next steps inside the warm cabin, outside, a certain golden-haired girl stood frozen in place, staring at the house in complete shock.

Lynx had been exploring the snowfields earlier, and she distinctly remembered that this spot was empty the last time she was here.

Yet somehow, after just one trip back to resupply, a fully built house had appeared out of nowhere—lit up, occupied, and looking as if it had just been constructed.

"...What?"
