Wizard: I Can Refine Everything

Chapter 13: Immortal Village Fragments

"In this world ruled by the Immortal Country, a rebellion against the Immortal Country, a grand werewolf idealist?"

After listening to the two's introduction, Richard had a preliminary understanding of the Rebellion Alliance in his heart. However, rebelling against the Immortal Country within this world ruled by the Immortal Country was not something particularly noteworthy to him.

Any race ruled by an alien race would produce such people, and part of the Wizards stationed in the Slave World is to hunt down these people.

"Ask him for the price."

White stared at Xuan Qing Daoist and said, "He asks what you have to trade with him."

"The things I can bring to trade cannot be seen here. But I can briefly explain."

Xuan Qing Daoist showed a sly smile on his face.

"Years ago, when the Immortal Country fell into this world, the Moon Palace in the sky was created. Yet only a few know that besides the Moon Palace, there are other Immortal Village Fragments.

The Rebellion Alliance searched for thousands of years and finally found the entrance to one fragment thirty years ago. Unfortunately, there were insiders from powerful families in the Rebellion Alliance, and as soon as they found the Immortal Village Fragment, they were attacked by the dogs of seven families."

Miss Zhen nodded slightly at White.

"My master was also a member of the Rebellion Alliance. Though she did not participate in those events, she knows quite a bit about them.

The Immortal Village Fragment is indeed a fact."

In the laboratory, Richard, who was multitasking, paused slightly. It must be said that the price Xuan Qing Daoist offered was indeed tempting. But a mature conspirator is best at telling lies with the truth.

"Interesting. Kid, are you interested in visiting that Immortal Village Fragment?"

"I need to protect the Young Master."

"That's simple."

Richard temporarily set aside the Sealing Skill, then pulled out a pile of alchemy materials from his pocket. These materials ranged from basic steel to precious mithril, and even included a sealed soul.

Richard raised his right hand, and massive magic tentacles emerged from his body, wrapping around each of these materials. Immediately afterward, countless alchemy arrays appeared in the air, and within seconds, all the materials had been processed and roughly refined.

After processing the materials, Richard snapped his fingers, and a soul witchcraft was applied to his soul. Subsequently, dozens of magic tentacles were reduced, but the remaining magic tentacles began to engrave runes.

In about ten minutes, the runes on a thousand parts were engraved.

With a casual wave, Richard levitated all the parts on the experiment table into the air. After a massive spiritual power sweep ensured there were no issues with these parts, Richard clenched his hand into a fist.

In the next moment, a thousand core components plus tens of thousands of alloy parts seemed to come to life, assembling themselves into an upper humanoid alchemy puppet.

"Phew, after becoming a Great Wizard, doing such complicated work is quite comfortable."

Looking at the alchemy puppet before him, Richard showed a satisfied smile. This alchemy puppet was not a creation from any puppet diagram he had obtained before, but something he created himself by combining his alchemy mechanical science, prosthetic technology from goblins, and crystal stone technology.

After becoming a Great Wizard, Richard's thought speed also became more precise. Designing an alchemy puppet would have taken him at least a week before he became a Great Wizard.

But now, directly mapping it out in his brain, he created a finished product within seconds. Although this puppet undoubtedly has immature aspects that need improvement, it is more than sufficient to serve as a bodyguard for a native.

After slightly adjusting the mind core, Richard input some combat strategies based on his battle experience.

Then, he sent the puppet through the space rift to appear beside White.

"Insert your array flag into its chest, and let your Young Master drop a drop of blood on its right palm."

White looked a bit dazed at the puppet before him, this metallic construct was slightly shorter than him and entirely covered in a golden-patterned metal shell similar to the chrome of his prosthetic limbs. Its upper part was humanoid, while the lower part resembled a spider. There was a crystal embedded in its upper body's head and chest, the head crystal being the size of a lychee, while the chest crystal was as large as an adult's fist.

"What is this?"

"An alchemy puppet."

"Puppet? Can it protect the Young Master?"

"If you don't have an array flag, it would only take a minute to defeat you."

"... Are you saying I'm inferior to a piece of iron?"

"You can try."

White slowly pulled out the array flag from his chest and inserted it into the chest of the metal puppet. Around White, both Xuan Qing Daoist and Miss Zhen curiously watched his actions.

"What is this?" Miss Zhen asked.

"A puppet."

"Puppet?"

Listening to this, Xuan Qing Daoist's face broke into a smile. He knew that his trade had already succeeded halfway.

With the insertion of the array flag, a water-wave-like light ripple suddenly flashed across the once lifeless alchemy puppet. Then, the two crystals began to emit a dim blue light, transforming the puppet from a lifeless object into a "living being."

"Truly a delicately crafted creation." Xuan Qing Daoist marveled.

The puppet stretched out its right hand, and in its palm, a pentagram array glowed with a faint golden light.

"Young Master, please drop a drop of blood on this star."

The Young Master nodded slightly, "Alright."

The Young Master bit his finger and dropped a drop of blood onto the puppet's palm.

In the next instant, the crystal on the puppet's head turned from blue to green, and a language that no one present understood emanated from the puppet's body.

"Target for protection confirmed."

White looked at the fully awakened puppet and silently drew out the Shura in his hand. Richard noticed his movement and casually reminded, "Don't rush, first let your Young Master learn about the spiritual message. Without the guidance of the spiritual message, you'll be dead for sure when testing the puppet later."

Although Richard's words seemed a bit alarming, White was very sure that Richard never lied, or rather, never lied unnecessarily.

The spiritual message is a simple ability that even ordinary people can easily master. Under White's guidance, the Young Master established a connection with the puppet using the spiritual message.

Buzz!

An energy wave emanated from the puppet's body, and then it and the Young Master disappeared into thin air. Witnessing this scene, everyone present except for White showed a flash of shock in their eyes.

"Can such an inanimate object use such profound Dao technique as teleportation?" Xuan Qing Daoist murmured to himself, "It seems we have encountered an extraordinary existence this time."

Miss Zhen had a different glint in her eyes, as if she had seen some hope.

Only White, being the only "illiterate" present, and being accustomed to Richard's wondrous creations, treated the scene as normal.

Opened the window and flipped down.

Although this was the top floor of the Star-picking Tower, for a third-level being, this height was no different from a step.

On the ground, the alchemy puppet stood beside the Young Master, with the crystal on its head seemingly flickering.

Bang.

As soon as White landed, he charged towards the puppet. The Shura in his hand seemed to melt on the way, the entire blade resembling some kind of liquid.

Buzz!

With a single slash,

The shapeless blade behaved like a whip as it slashed towards the puppet. If it were any normal third-level being, this move would be deadly without prior preparation.

The shapeless blade of the Shura would devour the victim's blood during the moment of its slash. The bloody blade would then proliferate like weeds, following the blood vessels, eventually turning into thorns that would utterly destroy the victim's body.

But for the alchemy puppet, this was just an ordinary strike.

The composite magic barrier flashed in the air, and the Shura's blade was deflected, the rebounding force almost breaking the blade.

"The composite magic barrier's strength can obstruct energy attacks of thirty thousand energy levels and physical attacks of twenty thousand energy levels. No matter how much you push yourself, you can't break this barrier."

Richard's mocking echoed in White's ears, but he wasn't angered by it. On the contrary, he was very satisfied with the puppet's strength.

He turned to Miss Zhen and Xuan Qing Daoist, "I presume you both are experts in Dao techniques; perhaps you could test the puppet's capabilities?"

Xuan Qing Daoist was already very interested in this puppet; hearing White's request, he naturally stepped forward eagerly.

"Haha, let this old man test the puppet's level."

Saying so, with a casual wave of Xuan Qing Daoist's hand, a crystal-clear red ice spear appeared in the air.

"Hmm, not bad."

Richard, seeing Xuan Qing Daoist's ice spear, had a flash of surprise in his eyes. Others might not discern it, but Richard, being a Wizard who studied the water and fire annihilation reaction, could tell at a glance that the ice spear was a new model of the water and fire annihilation.

In the next instant, the ice spear shattered upon impact with the puppet's magic shield, and then a brilliant light illuminated half the sky. The intense shock wave swept across hundreds of meters, making the Moon Palace seem on the verge of collapse.

But once the light disappeared, the alchemy puppet remained standing in its original position, with not a speck of dust on it.

Beside it, the Young Master was just rubbing his eyes without a disheveled corner of his clothes.

Seeing this, Xuan Qing Daoist's face flashed a bit of astonishment. This strike would have left any immortal disciple with an immortal body scattered to the winds.

Yet, the puppet before him was completely unharmed, and even the nearby Young Master of the Quan family was similarly untouched.

In that instant, Xuan Qing Daoist felt that his plan might not be as perfect. If this Evil Demon is so strong, even if they manage to kill the Mad Immortal, they might face another Immortal Country. Perhaps he should... suddenly, a grand bell tolled in Xuan Qing Daoist's ears, interrupting his train of thought. Once the bell's echo faded, a trace of bewilderment filled his eyes.

What was he thinking just then?

Never mind, it probably wasn't important.

Given how strong this puppet is, I believe the Otherworld Evil Demon can definitely slay that Mad Immortal.
