Yu-Gi-Oh!: Transformed into a Girl, Starting with Trickstar

Chapter 25: TST [25]

"Use it!"

Morgan shouted in her heart.

Suddenly, she felt a weight at her waist—a new Deck had appeared in her previously empty card pouch. It was the adorable Melffy Deck.

Smiling, Morgan pulled out the Deck from her Duel Disk and replaced it with the new one.

Everyone in the audience saw this clearly.

"Whoa! She has another Deck?!"

"So that super duper Deck from before wasn't even her true strength?!"

"What else is Morgan hiding?!"

"Don't tell me she didn't challenge the school out of desperation, but had it planned all along?!"

The students on the viewing platform began to look at Morgan with awe. Even if it was a spur-of-the-moment decision, the sheer courage it took to challenge a professional Duelist far surpassed everyone else present.

And now she had calmly pulled out a completely new, mysterious Deck. Her unfathomable strength stirred everyone's curiosity.

'…She has another Deck?'

Isla stared in disbelief. She had thought she fully understood Morgan's strength after that Riding Duel the other night.

But now she realized she still knew almost nothing about her.

'What is Morgan thinking now? Why challenge the school? What kind of Deck is this?'

One question after another bubbled up in Isla's mind, her face flushed red, already eager to engage in a very deep, very thorough conversation with Morgan.

Meanwhile, Jade tilted her head, staring intently. She had a gut feeling that ever since Morgan woke up from her hospital stay, she had become shrouded in mystery.

And to think she didn't even know about this Deck!

They had known each other since they were little kids!

In her eyes, Morgan had no secrets. And if she did, Jade would dig them out, no matter what.

So now that Morgan was starting to feel inscrutable, Jade was even more determined to dig out everything she was hiding.

"Hehehe…"

Jade flashed a rather expectant smile, sending chills down the spines of those around her.

Waiting to harvest fruit was part of savoring its sweet ripeness, wasn't it?

On the other side, Milo looked at Morgan with approval. She had been subverting expectations from the start.

What surprised him most was her courage to challenge a teacher.

In this, he found himself ashamed…

Back when he was in school, he had once clashed with the administration—they had pinned the fault of a privileged student on him, slapped him with a disciplinary mark, and never gave him any form of compensation.

Just to graduate, he had to swallow it all—he didn't even consider challenging a teacher.

The younger generation truly was formidable!

Milo stared at Morgan, a pleased expression on his face.

Seeing the leadership still hesitating, he smirked and nudged things along:

"Headmaster, what are you waiting for? Isn't this the perfect opportunity to showcase your faculty's strength? This concerns our future collaboration, after all."

"Ah, well..."

The headmaster quickly wiped his sweat and shot a look at Mr. Grant.

Mr. Grant nodded and gave him an "OK" gesture.

Only then did the headmaster relax. He stepped up to the podium and addressed the students:

"Since Morgan has issued the challenge, the school has no reason to refuse. Therefore, the administration has decided that Mr. Grant will face Morgan in a Duel."

With this turn of events, the midterm exam was completely halted. The entire Duel Field was cleared for the two of them.

All eyes were glued to the unfolding spectacle.

A student challenging a teacher—this was the first time in Duel Academy history!

They were witnessing history!

Mr. Grant set aside his proctoring equipment and strapped on his Duel Disk before he took Zion's former position on the field, facing Morgan from across.

"Ready?" he asked in a low voice, still speaking like a teacher.

Morgan nodded with a smile.

The next moment, both Duel Disks lit up red, displaying their Life Points.

"Duel!"

Each player drew five cards.

Normally, in a student-teacher Duel, the teacher would yield the first turn. However, since this was a challenge, the rules differed.

A coin toss decided it—Mr. Grant would go first.

"My turn, draw!"

Looking at the card he drew, Mr. Grant immediately smiled. His Deck wasn't just a typical tournament Deck, but a special classic archetype issued to faculty by Duel Academy—incredibly powerful.

It was one of the reasons he had agreed to become a teacher.

In fact, he preferred going second, so he could unleash the full power of this Deck.

"Today, I'll show you all what a professional Duelist is truly capable of!"

He drew a card and declared:

"I Normal Summon [Ancient Gear Box] in Attack Position!"

A rusted iron box with arms and legs appeared on the field, stuffed full of worn gears and bolts.

[Ancient Gear Box] Level 4│EARTH│Machine│500 ATK

"Next, I activate the Spell Card from my hand—[Machine Duplication]!"
