Yu-Gi-Oh!: Transformed into a Girl, Starting with Trickstar

Chapter 29: TST [29]

'[Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder]?'

Everyone stared blankly at the massive mech before them, unable to comprehend how a deck full of cute little animals had produced this.

"What is that thing?! Where are my fluffy friends? Waaah..."

"That looks so cool! Where can I buy this card?! I need it!"

"It looks even more badass than Ancient Gear Golem—and its ATK is just as high!"

"I don't care, Morgan is officially my goddess!"

The boys in the crowd were losing it. A combo of mechs and cute girls had always been their dream. And now that dream had come true, all thanks to Morgan.

Isla's eyes were wide with awe. Morgan had shown her a side today she'd never imagined. No matter how many times she had been surprised already, this... this was pure shock.

Meanwhile, Jade bit her finger in frustration.

She couldn't wait to drain Morgan dry.

"W-What is that?!"

Mr. Grant took several steps back just to fit the towering mech into his line of sight.

"Huh? Teacher doesn't know?"

Came a syrupy sweet loli-tone voice from across the field. Morgan was pinching her throat, mocking him with fake innocence.

"If Teacher doesn't know, then allow me to explain!"

She pointed at her Duel Disk card by card, saying:

"This is kitty, this is doggy, this is foxy... and this is [Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder]. Got it now, Teacher?"

Mr. Grant's face turned bright red. He knew full well Morgan was mocking him with her baby talk.

"Enough! Are you making a fool of me?!"

"You know that's not what I meant!"

Despite years as a pro Duelist, he had never seen or even heard of this card.

"Morgan, where did you get that card?!"

Grant's tone grew stern.

Yet, Morgan didn't bother replying.

"Where I got it doesn't concern you, does it? Shouldn't you be more worried about what it does?"

"What?!"

Grant's expression twisted.

Morgan gave a cold laugh and declared:

"I activate the effect of [Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder]!"

"Detach 2 Xyz Materials; send all other cards on the field to the Graveyard."

She removed two Xyz Materials from the Duel Disk and sent them to the Graveyard.

Suddenly, [ZEUS] roared to life, as if piloted by a skilled operator.

All of its thrusters ignited, blazing with intense flame—a scene that made the entire arena feel like they were watching a rocket launch.

[ZEUS] floated into the air, and with a thunderous clang, its core charged with overwhelming energy.

A wave of blue light burst from its body.

Every card caught in its path was wiped from the field, sent straight to the Graveyard.

In an instant—field wipe.

Only [ZEUS] stayed, standing tall amidst the wreckage like a final boss.

Silence fell.

Everyone was still processing the cinematic spectacle they'd just witnessed.

And then—

The audience erupted.

"WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!"

"The Ancient Gear Golems are gone! There's literally nothing left on the field but ZEUS!"

"That was insane! A full field wipe!"

"Uhh... is this still a cute animal Deck?"

Milo observed Morgan thoughtfully, his eyes flashing with approval. Unlike the students, he didn't care about appearances since Pro Duelists evaluated monsters not just on effect or ATK, but also how hard they were to summon.

If a monster was strong but impractical to summon in real games, it meant nothing.

[ZEUS] clearly had a condition.

Morgan's seemingly pointless attack earlier must have been a setup to fulfill that condition.

And Milo suspected that the condition was: If an Xyz Monster battled this turn, you can overlay it to summon [ZEUS].

He couldn't help but admire her precision.

What he had said to the headmaster earlier hadn't been flattery. Morgan really did have what it took to compete in the Junior Division of the Duelist League.

Back on the field, Mr. Grant stared in disbelief.

"This... This can't be. My Ancient Gear Golems..."

Not just the Golems, but his setup card [Ancient Gear Castle] had been wiped too.

Everything he built last turn was gone.

And now his opponent had a 3000 ATK monster staring him down.

Fortunately, Morgan's Battle Phase had passed—otherwise, he'd have taken 3000 damage right then and there.

"I Set two cards and end my turn."

Morgan's voice rang out calmly.

Grant clenched his teeth. No matter what, he had to turn things around this turn!

"My turn, draw!"
